BI Publisher Format maximum number (xml tag)

Hi guys,.

I have a problem with finding how to use Number Format for Maximum function so that it can be displayed in Excel.

Example: -.

Except output:- (-186.98)

Here is an example of XML code: -.

rowset <>

< ROW > < A11 > - 186.98 < / A11 > < / ROW >

< ROW > < A11 > - 89.54 < / A11 > < / ROW >

< ROW > < A11 > - 54.56 < / A11 > < / ROW >

< ROW > < A11 > - 184.24 < / A11 > < / ROW >

< / LINES >

In RTF from now I use <? xdoxslt:maximum (A11)? > and it gives desired result output Excel when I changed the format number in the form field to #, ###.00;(#,###.00)

Question:- but trying Preview of another PC, is to show the result with media - 186.98 even if the above stated number format.

So I think to use something like this in the form field:- < fo:bidi -substitute direction = "ltr" unicode-bidi = "bidi-override" > <? format - number:xdoxslt:maximum (A11); ' 0D999PT'? >< / substitute fo:bidi - >

Please suggest and also let me know if I'm not clear. Thank you much in advance.

  • Date in BI Publisher format

    Hi, I'm new to BI Publisher. How to change the format of date in BI Publisher. I have already 1 format of database, but in the reports that we want to use a different format, how can we do?

    I have already 1 format of database, but in the reports that we want to use a different format.

    data relate to the model through representation of xml data (I omitted the case on the use of csv like data source etc)

    If you have two place for interaction date

    (1) the database in xml format

    (2) the model xml

    so you can form date of case 1 and only to tag for it in the model

    If you want to change the format of the xml representation data you can change in case 2 ( Mathieu Sundarasamy-Oracle (as I prefer) or very little 934101 of path) or in case 1 (change of format mask in the generation of xml)

    so, you have two ways to work with date

    and if you use the first case to dictate using the format mask appropriate for the needs of report production and no more

    but in the second case the new date format based on the representation of the date to xml format

    If you in case 1 and then change the format mask for your needs

    If you in case 2 then post sample xml or try yourself in order to adapt the example Mathon Sundarasamy-Oracle

    1.No. multiple tag will vary how to extract those and concatenate them into a single column. I assumed that his occrrence in 3 for example:

    Use the fn:string-join() function:

    path varchar2 (4000) of comments 'string-join(comments/comment, "-").

    2. how to set the value NULL if no tag is not present. Tag in XML record number can vary.

    You don't have anything specific to do in this case.

    Missing tags with a projection in the COLUMNS clause will produce a column NULL by default.

  • OBIEE 11 g: error - exceeded configured the maximum number of authorized release

    Hi guys,.

    We are implementing the OOTB repository, after some reports of loading data show the following error msg. Can someone tell me where to change the limits?

    «Error loading of list "«display error»»»
    «"Exceeded the configured maximum number of allowed output prompts, sections, the lines or columns»» It must be because of the restriction on the number of records in a report"

    Thanks in advance

    Hello user,.

    Even I faced the same error and solved in the way below: -.

    Error: Exceeded the configured maximum number of guests allowed output, the sections, the lines of OBIEE 11 g.

    So to solve this problem, add the below tags mentioned in the instanceconfig.xml file that is located under

    \Middleware\instances\instance1\config\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1

    http://bidevata.WordPress.com/2012/04/27/exceeded-configured-maximum-number-of-allowed-output-prompts-in-OBIEE-11g/

    Mark useful/correct.

  • Assign paragraph styles to xml tags correctly. How?

    Hello

    I want to assign xml tags to paragraph styles in InDesign CS6 on a Mac 10.6.8. The XML itself is organized as follows:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8" standalone = "yes"? >

    < catalog >

    < article id '32434' = >

    "< img href="/bilder/32434.tiff "/ >

    < artikeltextgruppe >

    < artikelmarke > DieselGabana < / artikelmarke >

    < artikelheadline > super Jeans ist < / artikelheadline >

    < artikeltext > Superjeans knallt kidney. < / artikeltext > < number > 70238 < / weight >

    < artikelmaterial > 100% Jeans < / artikelmaterial >

    < artikelgroesse > UK < / artikelgroesse >

    < artikelfarbe > UK < / artikelfarbe >

    < / artikeltextgruppe >

    < / product >

    < / katalog >

    By selecting the option "Assign formats by name to the tags' (translated from the German), I wanted to create the desired look. But if I start all I get is the entire < artikeltextgruppe > textblock assigned to 1 formatstyle. And not to mention that the whole content of < artikeltextgruppe > resembles a single paragraph without any structure (no line breaks) the content is properly structured, because I can highlight the value of e.g. < artikelmarke > separately by doubleclicking the tag in the structure view.

    (a) what can I do to assign formats correctly AND to have correct line breaks?

    "(b) if I drag my node < img href="/bilder/32434.tiff "/ > iin the layout, I get a message posted to search again for the location of the correct reference. And this happens independently on the use of the relative or absolute references (even if I need to use those on) what can I do here?

    Thank you very much

    First of all, I have probably do a search and replace to remove the group element with a text editor ( and elements). They aren't really necessary.

    Secondly, I usually create my styles with the same names as the items themselves. Then, after the XML is imported, I use the command "map tags to styles" in the Structure pane.

    I copied and pasted the single article element to create 4 folders, added a change to an image for each record of the item. Once the paragraph styles have been mapped, your XML looked like this in form of two columns (to get all 4 records on a page)...

    By default, ID creates a single line to a single line in the XML file. So if you want to be on their own line of the elements, the XML must be formatted like this. If you need a different style within a paragraph, you create character styles and edit the items in a group of XML and or paragraph and add the code in the XML file accordingly or post-processing once inside the code.

    I still need to take the XML I gives me and reformat, moves with the tree items, change the links to the images, delete tabs and or spaces where I do not want, tag character styles, etc., to be closer to how I want the original format to be.

  • How can I increase the number of tags shown down to the bottom of the list?

    When I go to bookmarks/Tags, there are only 10 tags displayed. I have created at least 15 tags.

    Is it possible to increase the number of Tags displayed in the drop-down list?

    Thank you

    Do you mean "Recent Tags", which has an icon a folder of blue color with a magnifying glass looking for primitive on the record?

    This folder has a limit of 10 results. If you want to create a "All the Tags" item in the Menu Boomarks, you can do this by creating your own "smart folder. The process I use is a little involved, if patient with me (also see the screenshots).

    The query used by the recent Tags is:

    place:type=6&sort=14&maxResults=10

    So, for all of the tags, we will fall on the maximum number of results:

    place:type=6&sort=14

    If you prefer your tags in alphabetical order instead of having most recently used in the upper part, use it instead:

    place:type=6&sort=1

    Go ahead and select the line you want and right-click > copy.

    Then, click the drop-down bookmarks menu, expand the toolbar bookmarks, right click on any existing element and choose new bookmark.

    In location, paste the query and in name, type all tags (or description of your favorite). When you click on Add bookmark, Firefox to add it, but it does not show the blue search folder icon. Drag the bookmark in the menu, and it will turn into a search folder works.

    Success?

  • maximum number of entries in "characteristics of writing."

    What is the maximum number of channels in the "write data"? It seems that it is only 16 entries. I have more than 16 parameters in my application. What do you suggest me? I would like to have all of the data collected in a single file.

    The Multiplex module allows to combine several strings into one. In general, use the parameter "by block. The output will be a single thread with all multiplex channels in the block. You can have a maximum of 16:1 multiplexed. Use several Multiplex modules. They do not have to be symmetrical, but do not keep track of how many channels is multiplexed on a single thread.

    In the writing module, click the box to the format Options file (ASCII or DASYLab) - at the bottom of the dialog box, you configure so that it matches how you multiplexes - by block or by value (for example). And then, on the right, set the number of channels is multiplexed in each of the input channels.

    Do this way said DASYLab disabling multiplex the data in the file. You will lose the channel names. You can configure the names of channel for multiplexed channels using the chains. At the bottom of the dialog box, you can assign a global chain for each channel. Tedious, but it can be done.

  • regular expression for the xml tags

    Dear smart people of the labview world.

    I have a question about how to match the names of xml text elements.

    The image that I have some xml, for example:

    Peter

    13

    and I want to match all of the names of elements, that is to say: no, son, grandson, age, regardless of any attribute have these items. There is a regular expression, I can loop, that can do this? (Something like "\<.+\> ". "") It is no good because it matches the entire xml string.) I'd really only two different expressions, one for the match start elements, e.g. and one for the correspondence of the elements, for example.

    Thanks for your help in advance!

    Paul.

    The site Of regular Expressions will be very convenient.

    They have some good tutorials on regexp with a demo of the XML tags:

    Here is a small excerpt:

    The regular expression <\i\c*\s*>matches an opening of the XML without the attributes tag corresponds to a closing tag. <\i\c*(\s+\i\c*\s*=\s*("[^"]*"|'[^']*'))*\s*>corresponds to an opening with a number any attributes. Put all together, <(\i\c*(\s+\i\c*\s*=\s*("[^"]*"|'[^']*'))*| i\c*)\s*="">corresponds to an opening with attributes or a closing tag.  (source)

    If you want advanced XML analysis I suggest JKI XML toolkit.

  • Maximum number of columns in model RTF Pivot

    HI -.

    For the model previously mentioned here matrix report problem with template RTF - text columns

    I want to restrict the maximum number of columns per page, and the table should be repeated for the rest of the columns in another page.

    For example, if there are 5 columns must be returned, I want the first 3 columns in the first page and the 2 others in a second page (with the hole repeating frame).

    It's for keeping data legible printing of the pdf format, otherwise the data seems damaged and unreadable.

    Y at - it ideas to achieve this requirement?

    Best regards

    Rupture of the horizontal column works fine in the attached version of the RTF model.

    Is it possible to concatenate the results of the last column?

    It should be "werkonderbreking, Zwanenburg, staking, Stegeman, la¼pack, cnv vakmensen" so, I get a recording instead of six.

    Thanks in advance.

    Is it possible to concatenate the results of the last column?

    Yes, use string-join function:

    ...

    titel PATH of VARCHAR2 (10) 'bestemmingen/bestemming[@primary="true"]/@site '.
    soort PATH of VARCHAR2 (10) 'bestemmingen/bestemming[@primary="true"]/@channel '.
    trefwoorden PATH of VARCHAR2 (4000) 'string-join(tags/tag[@type="keyword"]/@name, ",").

    In this way, that you need more of the second XMLTABLE.

  • How can I replace a range / the text in an XML tag

    I want to replace a piece of text in an XML tag in a text frame.

    In my input parameters, I have the In-design page number, UID text frame in this page and the name of the XML tag within this block of text

    that surrounds my old text.

    which interface/function/command can I use who can help me to replace the existing text with the input text?

    for example:

    [old text] --> [new text]

    where [] is the XML tag with the name tag1.

    After a few trails and POC, I was able to write the piece of code below.

    It detects the start and end position of the marker and based on that we can replace the text inside. It will be useful.

    InterfacePtr data (signalMgr, UseDefaultIID());

    If (data == nil)

    {

    break;

    }

    UIDRef docRef = data-> GetDocument();

    InterfacePtr doc (docRef, IID_IDOCUMENT);

    IDataBase * db = docRef.GetDataBase ();

    Get the spread

    InterfacePtr spreadList (doc, UseDefaultIID());

    Int32 spreadCount is spreadList-> GetSpreadCount();.

    for (int32 spreadIndex = 0; spreadIndex)< spreadcount;="" spreadindex++="">

    {

    Get the reference to the spread

    UIDRef spreadUIDRef (db, spreadList-> GetNthSpreadUID (spreadIndex));

    Get the object of dissemination

    InterfacePtr spread (spreadUIDRef, UseDefaultIID());

    Int32 numberOfPages = spread-> GetNumPages();

    for (int32 nPage = 0; nPage)< numberofpages;="" npage++="">

    {

    UIDList pageItemList (db);

    spread-> GetItemsOnPage (nPage, & pageItemList, kFalse, kFalse);

    Browse page items and save on the UID of executives.

    Int32 pageItemListLength = pageItemList.Length ();

    for (int32 j = 0; j)< pageitemlistlength;="" j++="">

    {

    UIDRef pageItemRef = pageItemList.GetRef (j);

    InterfacePtr frame (pageItemRef, UseDefaultIID());

    If (frame-> IsTextFrame())

    {

    Now try to get the position of the Guide to the XML tag

    TextIndex 0 = startPos, endPos = 0;

    IXMLReferenceData * xmlReferenceData = Utils()-> QueryXMLReferenceData (pageItemRef);

    REF XMLReference = xmlReferenceData-> GetReference();

    IIDXMLElement * element = REF. Instantiate();

    InterfacePtr (REF.). Instantiate());

    TagUID UID = element-> GetTagUID();

    WideString elementName = element-> GetTagString();

    for (int32 i = 0; i < element-=""> GetChildCount(); i ++)

    {

    ChildRef = element XMLReference-> GetNthChild (i);

    InterfacePtr child_element (childRef.Instantiate ());

    tagUID = child_element-> GetTagUID();

    elementName = child_element-> GetTagString();

    Int32 index = 0;

    Utils()-> GetElementMarkerPositions (child_element, & startPos and endPos);

    startPos += 1; to proceed exclude the starting tag

    }

    }

    }

    } / / Browse pages spread
