Bill to Code JDE signature keys?

Hello

I sent an email to [email protected] to receive an invoice for Code signing keys I bought, but I immediately received "negative response":

Please contact the BlackBerryTechnical Support. The e-mail you submitted has not been delivered. Many alternative support options below.

On the https://www.blackberry.com/OnlineInvoiceRequest, my request is denied because I only got as far as I KNOW any type of account number...

What should do?

Thank you

I know not how long you asked your keys, but I got a bill for mine in the post automatically after about 2 weeks.

I have a new computer (from Windows to Mac) and for some reason any my app had a lot of errors and in order for me to fix, I just created a new project and pasted the content of the new project and not more mistakes and I can run on my device, the problem is when I wanted to sign I get error

Error: Code signing request has failed because the Invoke-target-key [com.nemory.Snap2ChatHeadlessService] has been used previously in a different package.

    A solution: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Testing-and-Deployment/Error-Code-signing-request-failed-beca...

But not in my case, it's the same application with the name of package and same old key target so I can push an update in bbworld.

I would try to turn back the project and correct the mistakes, but there may be another solution? How can I fix this please?

Edit: I tried to rename all key targets attached '1' in each and it worked and I can sign. And another much bigger problem is when I download the bar in bbworld I get error

"Bundle file (Snap2ChatProUI - 2_3_0_1.bar) has been rejected." Package ID is required for all .bar file. If this is an upgrade, ID of Package must match ID of Package in the bundle of original file. »

My package id "com.nemory.snap2chat" has never changed and I update the right application in bbworld.

Also, when I simply import the project unmodified Windows and compile, I get an error

    I solved my problem.

I replaced the signature keys Momentics IDE generated with the Manual Zip format signature keys I saved before. Now, everything is normal. Thank you all very much.

  • Module is trying to access a secure API - the reinstallation of Signature keys...

    Hello

ATER, a problem that I have to reinstall my eclipse + jde plugin, as a result of this relocation, I also need to ask new .csi file in order to resinstall also Signature keys.

After receiving 3 new csi files, signature keys has been successfully installed.

Now, I have no problem when I run a ' build and sign Blackberry Widget Project ", that I get every time that a" SUCCESS BUILDING "result.»

The problem is when I execute the widget on a real device, after the launch of the application whenever I get a "Module to access a secure API attempts" then the request has failed.

    Feature: Storm 2 9529 worm 5.0.0.306 (platform)

For your information before my new installtion of the eclipse + JDE widget built with previous keys and the previous eclipse running on the same device that above.

I did not change my source code, I try just to check if the application still running with the new keys and the new Eclipse + JDE.

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

Looks like you need another set of files of csi.

Before installing your new keys delete all files sigtool.csk, sigtool.db and sigtool.set on your PC.  This will clear your previous code signing keys.

So be sure to install each of the 3 csi files in the mansion even to make sure that all are installed in the same development tool.

  • Installation of Signature keys

I had three files for signature keys, that I applied.  I followed the instructions; below but I can never get to step 8.  After step 7, a dialog box opens for what .cod of opening?  Clues?

BlackBerry JDE plugin for Eclipse users:

    (1) save all 3 .csi files in the same directory (each of them will be sent in a separate message).
    (2) start Eclipse.
    3) click on the BlackBerry menu and select install Signature keys.
    (4) select one of the 3 .csi files in step 1, and click Open.
    5) click 'Yes' to create a new key pair file.
    (6) type a password for your private key of at least 8 characters, and then type it again to confirm. It's your private key password that protects your private key. Do not forget this password you will be asked for that every attempt to time signature or a signature key is installed.
    (7) move your mouse to generate date for a new private key.
    (8) in the PIN registration"field, type the identification number you provided on the order of signature keys form.
    (9) private key password, enter the password created in step 6.
    10) click on registry.
    (11) click on leave.
    (12) repeat this process for the other csi files.

Well... had works via BlackBerry JDE plugin for Eclipse to save the keys and then the appropriate files in the bin directory of the Widget plugin for Eclipse.  And everything worked.

  • . CSK recovered, .p12 and .db signature keys but will not restore. (error:-56)

I could get my signature keys deleted from the hard drive, but when I select to restore, or place them in the research in motion folder I get the error "error loading certificate: toDerInputStream rejects the tag type - 56.

Where can I find the code for this?

If the BlackBerry ID token is here (bbidtoken.csk) then the signing tools will use.  If it is not related to your signing keys earlier, it will cause the BlackBerry World error you mention.

The developer certificate (author.p12) can be replaced without affecting the "scale" of your application.

The main files, you must restore are barsigner.csk and barsigner.db.  The .db file is text, so you can open it with a text editor and search for corruption.  So here's what I recommend (keep a backup copy of any file modified below).

    1. Create a new developer (author.p12) certificate in Momentics by going into the Preferences, BlackBerry, signature window, create a certificate.
    2. Remove your BlackBerry ID token (bbidtoken.csk)
    3. Check the barsigner.db for corruption.
    4. Try to connect.

If the signature is successful replace the token BlackBerry ID and link your old keys to your BlackBerry ID account

  • Signature keys 10 BB

    Team dear Blackberry,

I signed up for BlackBerry 10 signature key and generated the file bbtoken.csk but do not have the other files needed for the signature.

Its been more than 15 days and my development process has stopped because of signing keys. I contracted management of the seller, they redirected me to post querry on the support forum for the seller. When I posted my querry here, they took me here. Let me know how long is this redirect loop and when don't I have a solution to my querry.

I am struck at halfway of the development just because of signing keys. Please solve my querry before I realize, blackberry application development has been my biggest mistake.

Come back as soon as possible, what to do next.

    Best regards
    Azure team

If you are using the latest tools all you need is your BlackBerry ID chip (bbidtoken.csk).  Old method of signature used by our old tools made use of LSB files probably refer you.

If you are using older versions of the tools, you can request files SJC will be sent to you by choosing the second option on the order form ("apps for BlackBerry PlayBook, BlackBerry 10 apps development using a 10.1 or lower SDK or BlackBerry 10 WebWorks SDK under 2.0.").

If you do not use this method, be sure to link these keys to your account BlackBerry ID so that it is recoverable.  Details on that can be found here:

  • Cannot connect widget - unable to find signature keys

About 1 year ago, I installed Eclipse and plugin BB to develop java applications of BB. I had bought and installed signature keys and was able to sign the apps very well at the time.

Then, I want to write a 'widget' using the new (for me) web plugin for eclipse. The only way I could get that work was by installing the all-in-one "BlackBerry Web plug-in in Eclipse" (the package that has the correct version of eclipse plugin extension). The only problem is that I can't sign widgets.

So, in summary, I have two versions of Eclipse on my computer:

    1. a version with the blackberry java plug-in for making java applications (that I could sign)

    2. the version with the blackberry widget plugin to make apps widget (I can not sign)

The error I get from the BlackBerry Web/Widget to eclipse version when I try to sign my widget is:

Cannot connect widget - unable to find signature keys

Do I need to import the key somehow (wherever they are) of the old version of Eclipse for the 'new' or perhaps reinstall?

    Or even buy them?

Note: I still have the original files of .csi 3 If this is useful

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated...

Thank you for your response. I had sent dev support and received the following response (which is essentially the same thing you said):

Please contact BlackBerry Application Development Support.

When you install your signing keys, first they are only registered with a JDE 1. Specifically, most recently installed JDE on your machine. Following these steps, you should be able to activate the privileges of your signature for all d located on your computer:

    (1) locate your signing keys by searching your computer for sigtool.db. You can find several files of sigtool.db, but you are looking for the sigtool.db that, if opened with a text editor, you see references to all three signatories (RBB, RRT and CPR) as follows:

#The file of database containing information to request signatures.
    #[DATE]
    RBB = [CLIENT_ID] http\: / /www.rim.net/Websigner/servlet/BBApps
    RRT = [CLIENT_ID] http\: / /www.rim.net/Websigner/servlet/Runtime
    CPR = [CLIENT_ID] http\: / /www.rim.net/Websigner/servlet/CryptoRIM

You can find this file, go to the next step if we can deliver a set of replacement of signature keys, free of charge.

    (2) COPY the 4 following four files in the same folder as you find the sigtool.db file in:
    -sigtool.db
-sigtool.set (if this file does not exist, it is good to ignore it).
    -sigtool.csk
    -SignatureTool.jar

    (3) If you are using Eclipse 3.5.1 or more, there is a shared folder where you can PASTE your signature files, by default:
    C:\Program Files\Eclipse\plugins\net.rim.ejde\vmTools

If the vmTools folder does not exist, you will need to PASTE the 4 four files for each component pack individually, by default:
C:\Program Files\Eclipse\plugins\net.rim.ejde.componentpackx.x.x_x.x.x.x\components\bin (where x.x.x_x.x.x.x is the version of the component Pack.)

If you use BlackBerry JDE, please note that there is no shared folder. You will need to associate each individual JDE with the privileges of your signature and PASTE the files in each associated BIN folder:
C:\Program Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE x.x.x\bin (being the JDE version x.x.x.)

Finally, if you are using BlackBerry Widgets, you can PASTE the files in the next BIN folder, by default:
    C:\Program search in Motion\BlackBerry Widget Packager\bin

By copying the files of four 4 and sticking them in the BIN of your d files, you copy your signature to these can thus privileges. Please note that this approach will allow the privileges of signature for all on a 1 d machine, but will not work for d on other machines; signature keys cannot be installed on 1 machine.

If you have any questions about the process described above, feel free to contact me.

  • New user for signature keys. How long does it take?

    Hello world

My computer crashed a week ago, and I had to reinstall WIndows. I have everything working again, except that I couldn't reuse my old signature keys.

When I tried to reinstall the keys, he told me to contact [email protected] and ask for additional users. I did, and I've been waiting for a week. Still no response.

I'm not trying to look like an impatient jerk. I know that RIM is busy with the launch of PB at the moment, but how long usually does it to add a user to my signing keys? I important to issue updates and I'm going crazy! Would it not faster as I just bought new keys?

    Thank you!

I don't know if this will help, but in fact, you have only these two files

    sigtool. CSK

    sigtool.DB

    to sign properly.

If by chance you have a backup of these two files, just copy them into the bin folder of BlackBerry JDE and signature should work just fine.

  • Multiple signature keys, one machine

Should I work on an application with a partner, we share the same signature keys? Or if two keys can be associated with an application?

I asked this before @BlackBerryDev and it was the answer I received: "every developer should have their own keys. "Memoirs App World should ideally use a separate key only for this purpose ^ RS.

    But...

    1. How can I manage multiple signature keys on my dev environment? If I have my own personal touches, but want to use separate to sign the application for presentation, how can I do?

    2. If my partner never test code on a simulator (with a token of debugging) without a signature key, should they even just get a key?

You can activate the keys as needed. Just make backups of these two keys (window-> Preferences-> BlackBerry-> signature click backup key), and you can switch them in restoring the desired key. In addition, make two developer certificates and switch if necessary by clicking on the Select Certificate button. Keep in mind, when you select wanted key, you must delete any form of chips listed to debug another developer, because sometimes the IDE get confused and sign app with info from another token of developer debugging if it exists.

  • Impossible to get a signature key

I submitted an application in February before it was necessary to have a signature key. I have received since the conformation that I get the device.

After the obligation to sign the app, I applied for the signing key.

I did not receive the key, and I have not heard from them since curious. Anyone had this happen?

It is quite common that email will be filed in a folder spam or something like that, so check that first. Since you're not too busy, I would apply just to a new at the moment.

Maybe try to send to an email address different this time and if you still don't get one in a support ticket.

  • WebWorks & ripple: package & sign: cannot sign the application - could not find signature keys

I am developing a prototype for my company using ripple and Webworks.

If I package it without signing my BB returns an error "must sign this."

If I try to sign, I get an error "cannot sign the application - could not find signature keys.

Somewhere on the net, I realized that I am required to buy RIM signing keys, is this true?

Is it possible to have temporary keys for testing purposes?

    Thank you
