BITS does not start Win7 64 (PA bear MS MVP)

PA bear MS MVP:

Computer Toshiba laptop came with Win 7 Home 64 bit (currently version 6.1.7601) installed.

Free trial of Norton has been installed by regulation. I uninstalled Norton and used AVG free until earlier this year when I bought McAfee Total Protection (ver. 14.0.4113), which I use now and McAfee WebAdvisor (ver. 4.0.167) I have MalwareBytes, Version 2.1.6.1022, but only use it manually. No AdAware & SpyBot S & E. 15/08/2015, I bought speed difficulty Pro of FixBliss (version 2.9.8) tool that cleans my registry, among other things such as, I suspect, causes close the problem I ask because the installation date and issue dates are real.

I received the offer of Win10 and signed and waited. Time has come to do the Win10 update and it failed. Then I noticed that the last successful update was held on 12/08/2015 and it was MS Silverlight version 5.1.40728.0. All others since had failed. I started Googling for answers and BITS found has not started and Windows could not start the BITS of the Local computer and that I should look in the system event log. I also found that 'Terminal Services' was not at all.

I tried 2 different files MS support Fixit troubleshooting commands, but to no avail. Then I did the great thing to restore my system all the way back to 12/08/2015 and, of course, when the computer reboots, I got the Windows cannot start message - always a wonderful feeling when you get one. Well, I got up and running but still not start BITS so also cannot run earlier updates since 8/15 and, the big one, cannot be upgraded to Windows 10. I tried to include a lot of info that you seem to ask, what makes the question too long - sorry about that. Any ideas?

I have an iMac 21.5 inches (mid-2011) with 8 GB Ram, 2 TB SSHD, new HL-DT-ST DVD - RW GA32N and tried to install windows 7 (32 bit) on using Boot Camp Assistant.

I already downloaded and copied software 4.0.4033.zip Boot Camp here-> https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630?locale=en_US for my 16 GB Pen Drive MS-DOS (FAT32)

The installation was successful, and windows 7 loads just fine 1st time, I created UserID and password, settings etc... using the apple keyboard then installed the drivers from apple on this issue of my 16 GB USB key. Seems my Magic Mouse works but my keyboard is not detected

Then I tried to restart so the changes would come into force, and since then my Windows will not start or run Windows 7

Now if I start my iMac hold down the Option key, I get Macintosh HDD, windows, recovery 10.11.4 and DVD. If I select Windows or Windows DVD it starts Booting then black screen followed by this Message on the screen «Press a key to boot from the CD or DVD...» »

If I press any button it starts booting from DVD and gives me the option to install Windows and if I do not press a button some then nothing happens

Fortunately my El Capitan works well, but my Windows will not start. I tried 2 times install windows 7 32 Bit on my BootCamp HDD.

So any help, I do not understand what am I'm doing wrong, I would be really grateful if someone who knew bootcamp can guide me so that I can run Windows OSX on my iMac.

  • Windows Vista Basic, 32 bit, does not start up-will start in safe mode

My computer fails to start. This problem came about 2 weeks ago when I rebooted after an update for McAfee Total protection requiring a reboot. But I don't know if that is why the computer not boot not correctly.
After a lot of testing to the Startup Repair and shut down the pc and start it again, it starts to open a session for users. But after that I restarted again in this State, the problem persists.
There is no error codes or messages, it just does not start. There is no virus infection (I hope). While the pc is booting, I also connected to Admin and checked if there were any problems found. But no other problem than a problem with Teredo Tunneling Pseudo - Interface. I solved this problem.
So after all these checks, I restarted again, and it will not start again.
It starts in Mode safe with no problems, and I have restored the pc a couple of times, but no use.

Y at - it a fix for this?
Any help will be very appreciated!

    Thank you

    Hello RubeenaY.

After looking on this thread. the most remarkable thing I've seen, is that we are able to boot mode safe without problem. Typically, this means that we cannot start because a driver, service, or application takes over at startup which prevents our normal operation.

I recommend you to perform a clean boot, as they did in the previous post.

  • HP Pavilion m9252p Vista 64-bit - does not start

My Pavilion m9252p will not start not (diagnosis says corrupted registry) and before I take drastic measures of system recovery, if I remove the hard drive from my office computer and connect it to another computer as a second drive, I will be able to access the files of data from it?  I know that one of the options is to make a backup of the data of the system recovery, but I don't have enough storage.

As you suggest, you can connect the hard drive of the computer on which you have the question to another computer as a second hard drive and can back up the data and not the installed files. There is no wrong in that it's just for a data backup

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit does not start after updates

    Hello

I recently installed Windows 7 ultimate on a PC under Vista Basic.  I have done this as a clean install, wipe the existing partitions and create a new one for the installation.

Everything was going well for two days until this morning when I turned on the P.C. I get the screen of the bios of the system and can see my SATA drive in the Bios and the size is properly reported. However, after the bios when the computer tries to start Windows, I get a blank screen and the hard drive remains slight activity at all times.

I took the drive into the pc and put it in another pc via an external hard drive box and I can see the data and files in the disk.

I put the disc in the original and booted PC from my DVD of windows 7 I tried to run the bootrec tool but the tool said that he had no windows partition!

Now I had to reinstall Windows 7 from scratch even once - I do not have a hardware or software yesterday and I shut down the system properly (the Office was left connected to a UPS because it is at work, so no power problem on shutdown).

The only thing I can think of happens out of the ordinary yesterday was a load of Windows, updates requiring a reboot in the morning, but the machine was fine after that.  I have actually a lot on the machine yesterday like I did has been implemented of a laptop for a demo of systems almost all day.

Everyone has met nothing like yesterday? Or have any idea of what past?  I don't want to have to rebuild my PC whenever there are updates!

I had a similar problem yesterday with 12 October 2010 MS update on a laptop running Win 7 Professional. PC worked perfectly in the morning, I downloaded the update to 32 MB and the installation process seems to be okay, but I couldn't get past the Windows 7 login screen after booting. Kept, get a blank screen. Even tried to start safe mode, but got the same answer. Later, I used the F8 key at startup and selected the last restore point that was created a week ago. It helped me in my PC. I removed the automatic download more MS Updates. One of the 12 had about 10 patches in it and really messed up my PC. Good luck. /

  • Vista 32 bit does not start after the mode 'sleep'

I have Vista Ultimate 32 bit SP2.  I put the computer in standby mode and the next day morning tapped the keyboard space bar to wake him up.  I have a Logitech G15 game keyboard with an LCD display, it began to rise, then I noticed all the keyboard lights were flickering.  The system never started and the screen remains black.  I took the cover off my PC and noticed that fans have been "forced" for about 1 second then remains off for a period of about 5-7 seconds before the pulse on once again.  This is repeated.  I pressed on the power switch for the computer for 20 seconds, without result.  I disabled the power supply directly for about 20 seconds, he turned back and have the same pulse.  Then I unplugged the power cord to supply POWER, same year, same net effect.  I've checked all my connections, etc., everything is in order.  I got an iPod touch connected to the computer via the USB port before sleep.  But I perfrmed this function several times one never had a problem.  I of course got the thing first USB when I started my problem.  I guess it's one thing to the BONE, but what's my line?  Thanks much for any help!

A little late on the answer, but he had nothing to do with food. I was able to solve the problem by turning off the computer, unplug and burst the battery from the motherboard, let it rest a bit, then put it back together and bam, I'm back in business. I think it's a problem between the motherboard BIOS and Hibernate commands put off by * Vista and the only way to stop the loop is the above afformentioned. Everyone always wants to blame the food for these issues... Now PS can cause really strange but common problems...
