  Recently, I upgraded from Real Player cloud both Real Player on two desktop computers. A computer kept thousands of thumbnails of the video while the other did not. Windows Media Player plays the majority of the thousands of videos, but there are still hundreds that are unplayable without Real Player/Real times. My question is, ' is there a safe format to install other than Real Player/Real times to read .flv files without jeopardizing other files? Also, is there a reason why Microsoft Gets a built in-house audio/video download system rather than having to resort to a third party outside? Thank you.

• Can I convert any FLA to a Clip? Or is there another solution?

  I have a Flash file, I created which is quite simple and has a bit of actionscript in it. This is a file that scrolls logos constantly on the rise and stops in some positions. Now, I was asked to keep this version, but have another with a header image static above of what I did.
  
  I would just do this in my HTML, but we need to be able to export all in a single .exe file so is not an option.
  
  I tried to slide my .swf file in another file Flash - that works - but then I lost my actionscript a reason any.
  
  So I wonder if I can somehow all convert in my original FLA file to a Clip that I can drag into another file so that everything I made will be kept.
  
  How can I do this - any suggestions? Bear with me, am learning I will.

  OK, so use the first suggestion:

  Shift-select all the images in your original film. Choose Edition > timeline > copy the images.

  In your new movie, create a new MovieClip. Inside the new MC, select the upper left frame, then select Edition > timeline > paste images. All of your content will be pasted with all labels intact timeline and actionscript.

  I did not understand the info on the action of the tabs. I followed the instructions for "open in an existing window", but messages still appear in the tabs at the top. I struggle to find my Inbox. Thank you, Martha

  If you select open in an existing Message, the first message that you double-click to open a new window always opens. If you leave this window open and you double-click a second message, it will open the new message in the existing message window.

  If you select open in a new window, all messages that double you click opens a new window. If you do not close the window after reading the messages you will be right where you are when you neglect to close the tab after reading the messages. You will have all messages that you have read open in a tab and the tab of the Inbox is pushed off the screen.

  After reading the message, close the tab or window.

  If you have lots of tabs open, you can right-click one of them and choose Close other tabs and then use the x on the last tab to close it.
  This will close the tab with the calendar of lightning inside you will need to reopen that.

  Have you tried to use the message pane to read messages and open them at all? F8 will toggle the message on and outside pane.

  After the Windows update KB973525 has been applied to the PC with Windows XP SP3, Visio 2003 Viewer, and 2007 will not come upward.  It displays only a white screen with a red X.  If the update is uninstalled, then the Visio Viewer works.  The update is a security fix, and we want to keep this update installed.  Does anyone know another way to solve this problem?

• Is there a bug in CVI 2010 SetTableCellRangeVals and SetTableCellRangeAttribute for strings - particularly in 64-bit mode?

  It seems that I can't get SetTableCellRangeVals to publish string data to a table in 32-bit mode, I can't SetTableCellRangeAttribute to work for arrays of strings and now it seems numbers either. I just get garbage - it could be my code, however.

  Worse in 64-bit mode, I can't seem to post anything (for strings at least), but get a GP fault instead.

  Certainly, you have found a bug.  However, I think that the issues that you run in a SetTableCellRangeAttribute are the result of a misunderstanding of the function.  This function, when you use it to set the value, sets the values of all the cells in the range to the same value.  Therefore, the var_args parameter must be the value that you want to set all cells to and not a pointer to an array of values.  In your code, you would need dereference the berries, and then, you would see that all the cells are the same value, which is the expected behavior.

  I created a bug report for the accident which follows from the definition of values on string cell types in 64 - bit with ID 284842.  This bug will be fixed in the next version of maintenace of the CVI.  In the meantime, you should be able to use SetTableCellVal to set the value of each cell individually in 64-bit.

  Three options.

  (1) start from the XP CD, format the HARD drive, create TWO partitions, install XP on the first then the second 7.

  (2) use virtualisatioin if your machine it handles pretty well. Install Virtual PC or VMWare Server and install XP on a virtual disk.

  (3) (easiest if you have Pro 7, Ultimate or Enterprise) download and install XP Mode

  I think that we have found the problem... I uninstalled Flash by using the uninstall program located here Flash: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

  I then reinstalled Flash Player and open the HP Solution Center. Then he showed a dialog box that says that the Plugin Flash to Internet Explorer. I use Firefox as my main browser and therefore never installed the Flash Plugin for Internet Explorer, so the graphics error.
