Black screen during GeForce Driver installation or uninstallation 3D Vision.

Recently, I did a clean install on my PC. Then I downloaded GeForce and since my PC automatically updated an older version of the driver and installed Nvidia Audio and 3D vision drivers (THAT I don't WANT OR NEED), I chose the "Clean install" GeForce mode that removes Nvidia all previous programs and install the most recent drivers. Now, I did this because whenever I try to uninstall my computer 3D Vision driver manually it suddenly hits a black screen with the mouse still visible and stays there forever, unless I turn it off. Now, when I turn it on again once it does the same thing, but for some reason when I turn it on and the second time it starts normally. But when this happens, the 3D vision driver ends up not be uninstalled. I did a clean install of GeForce could solve this problem, but exactly the same thing eventually occur. If anyone is familiar with the program GeForce or Nvidia drivers could help me it would be much appreciated. I'm not going to turn off my PC, because I don't want to damage the disc hard environment installation (which I continue to have to do, but then get corrupted and I have to perform a clean installation of Windows to regain space lost since corrupted files). But for some reason this black screen where the mouse is always visible, will not disappear.

I found the problem, I think the drivers to reset my "resolution"setting"one incompatible with my monitor, setting the lowest possible at my screen resolution appears to have resolved the problem. The installation would be stuck as the pilots tried to change the resolution of the screen, a compatible with my monitor and be unable to make further progress. Fortunately, appears to no longer be the case.

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

2 are the external devices connected to the computer?

Method 1: disconnect any external devices (except keyboard and mouse) and then install Windows 8 and check.

Method 2: Select the edge device devices in device/integrated graphic of BIOS (Basic Input output device) and check.

    amfavs,
Without a doubt make sure that the vents are clean and the fans are working properly.  This happens on any game or only some of them?  Windows 7, an upgrade or a new installation?  Did update you your video driver from the manufacturer website PC or video chipset manufacturer website?  If you have the video driver from the manufacturer of PC, you can check with the video chipset manufacturer site because they may have a driver more up-to-date.

  • Satellite A210 - 11 p - gos black screen and HARD drive does not

    Hello

My Satellite A210 - 11 p suddenly goes to a black screen and the hard drive stops working. It is always under tension and if I want to restart I have to unplug the unit and remove the battery.

I thought it was overheating and checked the time and they were really high in the 1980s. I took the fan and cleaned (very dusty) and the basic form of thermal paste. Temperatures plummeted now immediately but I still have the same problem, I updated the graphics driver and watched the temp on GPU (which is fine) but the problem is still happening. I used a number of programs to check for errors on the hard drive and no reported problems. I reloaded Windows 7 but still no joy.
The problem seems to occur at any time and is not due to the execution of a given program, even just browsing with firefox

Not too sure what to do and any advice would be welcome.

    Hey Buddy,

    > I reloaded Windows 7 but still no joy.
Have you ever tried with Toshiba Recovery disk operating system?

The Toshiba recovery disc there is an image of the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools. If you install Windows on this disk, you factory back.

That would mean if you have the same problem after the installation of recovery it s really bad hardware working because you have pretested settings of Toshiba. In this case an authorized service provider can help you make an accurate diagnosis what part is affected.

  • Firefox displays black screen during playback of YouTube

I noticed recently that Firefox stopped reading YouTube videos and showing only black there where it is supposed to be a video of the screen. So after a lot of research, a lot of people argued that this is problem of flash player. I tried to install the earlier version, but that has not changed anything. So I uninstalled Firefox and downloaded more old, but stable version (34.0.5). And voila! YouTube videos shows again. After a week, I noticed that YouTube watch again box black screen. Unwittingly, I opened the Revo Uninstall and saw that there are TWO Firefoxes installed - one is that I have personally installed and another is newest Firefox 37.0.2. So I uninstalled the latest Firefox, but unfortunately it also uninstalled my old version of Firefox. This time still installed Firefox older (34.0.5) and I made that he never check for updates and it not install them. YouTube has started to play well. After a few days, new Youtube not not video poster, only his time and you can see real video images by pointing cursor on the video time line. So I checked the applications installed and found mysteriously installed latest Firefox with the former. So can anyone help me to stop the latest auto-install Firefox and leave only the old man? Any solution would be much appreciated.

YouTube has failed over to the HTML5, users of Firefox's Flash player default player. Usually, you can distinguish by right clicking on the drive and looking at the last item in the context menu that appears. Can or if you see this page, you confirm that you have been switched?

    https://www.YouTube.com/HTML5

As a temporary workaround, there are a couple of extension to force the Flash on YouTube for users who find that the HTML5 player doesn't work for them (or downloaders will only work with Flash). For example:

But with Windows 7, you should be able to use the HTML5 YouTube Player, and it would be so ideal for trying to debug this problem if you are interested to experiment a little.

  • Equium L300 - 17Q hangs at a black screen during recovery

    Help

    I have an Equim L300 - 17q.
I'm trying to restore my laptop to default after getting a virus.
I bought a toshiba recovery disk.
I followed the instructions after the laptop says it's loading files, it crashes then just at a black screen.

    Ideas please

    Hello

Have you tried to install the OS using another drive or maybe you could start Notepad using a Live CD Linux Live CD or WinPE or PartBE?

Please check because your problem could be related to the laptop computer part faulty (maybe the HARD drive) or defective recovery disc.

Now it s not possible to say what could cause this and, therefore, you should try starting with other disks.

  • Black screen during video playback

I use a Sandisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB drive, uploading videos through the Sansa Media Converter 1.0B004.256CDG Windows XP/SP2 version. While the MSC has said that the videos have been converted successfully, trying to read them, I get a black screen and no sound. Any suggestions?

Try to format your rocket on the format and settings. Although this will delete everything on your rocket, you will get a fresh start. If you cannot format Fuze player, then go on Rhapsody with the right button on your rocket and click on format. Try to download the videos again.

  • Black screen on startup after installation of the wireless router

I recently installed a Netgear Wireless - G Router (WGR614) on my computer vista HP laptop and since then, I have experienced a few problems. One day my computer was working fine. I stopped it and when I went to leave the next day morning, the screen was black with a bunch of small lines. It would not load anything so I stop and tried again. It's the same thing. I turned on and close my count, and when I opened it upward a few minutes later the screen was beautiful. Then, I have lived the "Blue Screen of death" 3 times. I researched what the problem might be and thought that I might need to update a driver. I went to HP Health Check and there were a couple of updates on a wireless adapter and a card reader, so I installed the updates. I have not experienced the blue screen since then, but I still have problems with the black screen when starting upwards. If I leave the computer open the black screen turns to a white/blue color and nothing loads. But if I close it then after a minute or two everything is. This could be the cause?

    Hello

Start with the wireless router is not the cause of the problems. It is a stand-alone device that simply provides a network connection for your system. Offhand, I would say that you experience a hardware failure, and perhaps the time is simply coincidence. Knowing what was the error message stop can help to indicate where the problem lies, but your description of the problem is quite indicative of a hardware problem. Solve it will probably require involving a technician (contact HP if it is still under warranty).

  • Black screen during startup

I have a HP m9520f I bought a month ago. From time to time, it gives me a black screen when booting. The computer is on, but nothing happens. When I unplug the power cord and plug usually once again, it starts fine the next time. I tried solutions suggested by pressing F8 during startup. But nothing is going on (it started normally without any problem).

The clues and suggestions are appreciated.

Could be an intermittent hardware failure, try to open the housing, cleaning (using canned air) all, remove and reinstall the RAM and check the connections are secure. However, first, check the screen. Is the cable correctly connected at both ends, and the power cable is safe? You could test if it's not for lack of a monitor, if you have a keyboard with a sleep button, to set market and that, if the screen goes black, wait at least 10 minutes until it would have normally received at the logon screen. Then, press the sleep button and see if she falls asleep. Also watch the disk activity; If there is a lot that the operating system is probably start normally.

  • Black screen during Windows startup

Original title: black screen linked to the UAC and stopped services

Hello!  Since a few days my PC was submitted to the screen black ("death") and the cursor when starting.  Boot sequence is very well until the desktop should appear and does not work.  I looked at many tips and tried a different ways to solve and I'm stuck now.  It does not seem to be linked to graphics cards, recent software installs, recent windows or application updates.  Anti-virus is up to date and ran the day before where everything has gone wrong.  Restorations to return do not resolve the months.  Deleting files newspapers do not resolve.

    The current data are:
    * boots in safe mode
Turning off UAC allows computer to boot normally, only to find that most of the services have stopped included all the more important as Installer, Defender and one Live.  At this point I suspect a virus, I removed the network connection.  Any attempt to restart delay services and is unsuccessful.  Computer is basically unusable because of the number of services that have been suspended.
    * Used MS Malicious Software Removal Tool on full scan and found nothing.

    Any ideas how to fix?

My next idea when I had the chance was to try the manual removal of the Win32/Conficker virus, which seems to have a similar effect on a PC.  This should have been taken/fixed by MS Malicious Software Removal Tool and is quite long on 28 stages!

    Thank you
