  * Download driver Chicony Webcam drivers from Toshiba Web site section was updated. If you can't find an updated driver, try a new driver of another model of Toshiba.

  * If you have another program that can use the webcam (e.g. Skype), make sure that they are completely closed and not, sitting in the system tray.
  * Try to close the bar Assistant camera on the left side of the office.
  * To stop the Camera Assistant software from running at startup, run Regedit and delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Camera Assistant Software".

  I have hours of slow connection on a Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium. There's a second of ~ 30 black screen after the computer starts and before the logon screen appears.

  I installed the Windows evaluation and Deployment Kit (ADK) and ran a boot trace by using the Windows performance recorder.

  Using Windows performance monitor, I see that sftlist.exe service takes about 25 seconds to initialize (see screenshot below). This is part of the Microsoft Application Virtualization Client, the version installed is 4.6.3.24650

  Services right expect sftlist finish which could explain the black screen.

  No idea why it takes so long to start and there are patches? Thank you.

  I've got Premiere Pro CS6 and I started testing the use of x 264 with Dxtory. The problem I encounter is that the film is incompatible with any suite preset (AFAIK) apart from the AVC-Intra 100 (AVC-Intra 100 1080 p 30 fps is the one I am using). However when I use this preset all Preview gives me a black screen so that the audio is played perfectly. It is not urgent, because it is always possible to simply convert the movie to MP4 with Handbrake, however not being is not able to use this codec would be a shame, especially since I've seen others use it without any problem at all.

  Okay, I tweaked around and I'm happy to say that I have to work. It's really simple, all you have to do is go into the settings of codec on Dxtory for x264vfw and set the FourCC to x 264 and the GOP (Min and Max) to 1.
