Black shadow

Has anyone seen elsewhere a question like that? I have a dark shadow on my screen. I don't know how it happened, but I think its something internal. I tried to include a screenshot, but I think that it does not transfer to the screenshot, once it is posted on this site. Weird.

If you think that there is an internal problem, I suggest make a Genius Bar appointment or go to your local Apple authorized for the phone to be checked. https://locate.Apple.com/country

    Hello to all specialists!

I have a problem which became unbearable with the monitor of my Toshiba A100-788. When I turn on the laptop for a few seconds, works normally but would then become black and everything is in black shadow. I can see what is on the desktop if I put a strong light in front of my screen. until the monitor worked if I restarted abruptly the laptop but now no longer works. I already replaced the LCD inverter but I have the same problem (should I replace the inverter wires?). and I have already connected to an external monitor and working correctly. I'm a little desperate because I need the documents on my laptop.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hello

It looks like a FL. inverter problem

The FL inverter is a piece of equipment behind the frame of the LCD and this material part controls the LCD backlight.

In my opinion it s broken and it of necessary to replace this part in order to solve this problem.

I would recommend contacting a local Toshiba ASP. Guys should help you to replace this part.

    Good luck

    Hello

I play this game using 2 PC Toshiba laptop.

    A Satellite L670-1KZ: 2.67 Ghz - Radeon Mobility HD5650 - RAM 6 GB i5.
    A Qosmio X 870 - 13v: i7-3630QM 2.4 Ghz - GeForce GTX 670 M & Intel HD Graphics 4000 - 32 GB of RAM.

On the 1st, I have no graphic problem.
On the Qosmio, I have a BIG problem with little light that have large black stain on it.

You can see the 'bug' on YT here below:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=c4E2DFScyfU&feature=youtu.be

The configuration of the game is the same on both machines with the exception of the resolution.
My drivers are up to date (GeForce & Intel).
I uninstalled the game twice only = no results.
Settings, to control panel Nvidia, I changed several times (Note option shadows cache) no = no results.
I played with game config below only = no results.

I posted on the forum of steam only = no response.
I posted on the forum of Nvidia only = no response.

So, can you help me solve this problem?

    With our thanks,
    Guillaume.

You have any other graphic matter using this Qosmio X 870 - 13v?
I mean other problems related to the image to appear in other games and other applications running?

Otherwise I n t think that there is something wrong with the laptop.
In this case, it looks like very specific issues between this game and probably the graphics driver.

It turns out that you won't encounter problems under this game the Satellite L670 with ATI driver.
The Qosmio is supported by the nVidia GPU

I think there must be a link any between the nVidia GPU and this game.
In my opinion you should look for the solution in the steam forums or nvidia even if you have not received answer yet.

  • Black on opposite corners of picture after having dropped the camera

I have an EOS 6 d with a 24-105mm lens. I dropped everything so that cross a road in the middle of a two-week vacation and it bounced around a bit but has been virtually blown off. When vacation finished and I looked at all the 2,500 photos on the computer, about 15 of them have been simply like the one below - two dark corners in front of the other. After these 15 photos with dark corners, there is no recurrence in one of the photos. I don't seem to remember take off the lens and put it back on again about a day after I dropped the camera. Someone knows what are the black corners? I have nothing to fear in the long term?

Looks like as the sun visor turned a bit (just a bit of loose).  You probably correctly tightened later.

These lens hoods petal protrude further on the top and the bottom on the sides because more of the image of the round lens gets thrown on top.  If you fail to turn it completely around until it clicks with the long petals at the top and at the bottom you will see little bit catty corner black shadows, whose petals appear in the image.

When I opened my 35mm Sigma at Christmas, I jumped the hood on and took some shots. I thought that the lens was defective because it looked like your shot above, but I had actually just not enough tightened the hood all the way to the click.

  • Dip to black gets affected by classification

After you apply a grade (color corrector 3-way and dyed) all my dip to black get transitions affected - since I added a lot of blue in my transition black shadow is now mainly blue. Is there an easy way to work around this problem? The only thing I came with gradually decreasing the amount of my Bill during the transition, which is a lot of work and still does not give a good enough result.

Thank you very much for your help!

Remove the dip to black transition and place a clip of black on the floor above where transitions has been, for the same duration as the transition that used to be there.

Controls the opacity of the clip of black on the track above clips has been fixed so that it fades, holds as opaque for as long as you want, and then faints.

  • pixalated shadow

Hello! I want to create a dark black shadow very tightly around the text. I had mocked this place is OS X Pages, and now I'm trying to recreate it in InDesign.

However, the shadow is horribly pixalated in InDesign and when exporting to PDF format.

I tried tinkering with the different settings of effects without result.

I tried going in Edition > parameters of flattening transparency and setting that seemed not that save and back to low resolution high resolution, but InDesign.

I tried to play with the export to interactive PDF Options and not luck.

Surely it is not supposed to look this bad! Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thank you!

I've been misled by the title 'Interactive PDF' vs 'print', when it turns out that the functions that I need in my finished PDF (marked bookmark table of contents & internal links) is covered in a printing of export, which can manage the resolution I want.

  • Help to recreate the effect of shadow cast by the clipping mask

Is there a few months, I created the image attached. Today, for the life of me I can not create a similar effect, where the shadow text source the clipping mask. Whenever I try to follow the same steps and the layer styles, that I get a normal black shadow not a shade that comes from the clipping mask as in my example. Help please I'm driving myself crazy!

If you put the layer containing the shadow applied to a smart object the clipping mask will be applied to the shadow as well. Right click-> Convert to smart object

  • Text shadow appears jaggy on PDF

    Hello

I have a problem with the shadows of text on Illustrator CC 2014. While on the file HAVE shadows, appear on the PDF (exported with all templates, nothing worked) the shadows are irregular and not good.

    textshadowproblem.png

The PDF is primarily for the screen (printing, it is not a priority), so I'm working on RGB. When you export the PDF file, I set to destination color to '' don't change. ''

I also realized that when I zoom very close on the PDF, the shadows seem normal - that when I Zoom out to a normal size shadows appear jagged.

Please note that the layer structure is as follows:

    • Inside, a JPEG image with a Gaussian blur effect applied directly in Illustrator
    • A black rectangle that is set to multiply to darken the picture a bit
    • Text with shadow applied directly in Illustrator

Is there a solution to this?

Please let me know if you need additional information.

  • How to make a black brilliant around a text on photoshop cs6?

[redacted] Im trying to do the "justgirlythings" photo of tumblr and I know how to do a little transparent text and im trying to do it with the black light but nothing appears. If you don't know what the pictures look like typein just on Google "just girly things." Help, please!

Hello!  Assuming that the look you want is something like this:

You can follow these steps to reproduce the style of the logo "justgirlythings".

    1. start with the text "justgirlythings" in white on its own layer.

    2. click on the button at the bottom of the pallet Layer Styles layers.  Select the Merge Options.

3 move the cursor opacity of fill to about 40%.  The opacity setting fill rather than the opacity of the layer affects the pixel of the layer information without affecting the layer itself.

    4. to get the black shadow, go to the outer glow in the layer Style Panel.  Set the color to black, the opacity to about 40% and the blend mode to multiply.

    5. in the layers palette, set the blending mode to overlay.

At this point, you should have the image you want.  Save it by using Save as or save to Web.

    I hope this helps!

  • PSC6 black artifacts Conversion RGB and sRGB on Dell

Hi guys, I recently changed pc and monitor causing a bloody problem with these color spaces!

My monitor is a Dell u2412m and by default it is set to:

    Immagine3.jpg

Now when I open a RAW with ACR file and choose sRGB as the color space, the result is the following:

    Immagine2.jpg

As you can see, the majority of the photo shows black shadows. If I save the file and open it with the windows image, it is perfect. Indeed, if I choose ProPhoto for monitor and for photo viewing is very good:

    Immagine.jpg

I need to change the same RGB or sRGB color space before saving the final image so I really want a real Preview in photoshop to itself instead of saving first. If the problem occurs when I'm recording in RGB (less artifacts) and sRGB (lots of artifacts!). I don't understand this because I use the same default color for my monitor space. Any guess?

    The pc configuration is:
    Intel i7 3770

Beta driver Ati ATI HD7870 12.11

    16 GB of RAM

    It is probably this problem:

  • Drop shadow quality in print

I often use the drop shadow in Adobe Illustrator effect or move the file HAVE in InDesign or export the file to PDF. The problem is that when the PDF or InDesign file is printed the shadow does not retain the same look of loss on the outer edge of the shadow. The image below shows a scan of a recent design, I created. The left image is printing and the right image is the file placed as a smart object in Photoshop. You can see that on the edge of the shadow to the impression that there is a significant advantage, especially on the white part of the background. In the smart object, the shadow falls correctly.

    http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/8669/dropshadow.jpg

What I found is that if I take the file in Photoshop first, flatten the file and save it as a PSD, then out of the shadows is not the same problem. The printed piece still looks as it should be by using this process.

Although it works very well for the working RGB or CMYK, I have a file which must use spot colors in color so I can't align to flatten without converting them to an object in grayscale, then to a Duotone in Photoshop, but I really don't like how the design appears like a Duotone. I need to keep the file as a file HAVE so it retains the tones, but I need to know if there is a way to keep the edge of the shadows to be visible when the file is printed.

You should not pass through hoops as you are to get what you want.  Your screenshots reveal a big problem in the period of INQUIRY where the same shadow will not look the same.  The printed version looks like it (the shadow) has been converted to 1-bit.  I see that you have selected "Transparent background" in the Raster setting.  In your dialog box print of Illustrator, (try the white background in option) which is the resolution of the document set on?  If you have the resolution of 300ppi Raster, your document must be set to about 5080 DPI.  Save the Illustrator (copy) file as .eps Spot Color.  I see no need to create an intense Black shadows.  All this might be connected to the output device.  'Fusion' and how do you use on the shadow if necessary?  Black must print too red.

Hello.. MacBook Pro 2007/8 running OS 10.7.5.

All hard disk fairly new works healthy... Desktop and the Finder/opening text electronic documents/mail work / online / all programs open... everything works smooth as before the birth of this current problem.

The only problem is that all images, so stills open in preview, or movies open in Quicktime, or office photos and even live in Skype pictures... suddenly became - the best way I can describe it is - "Posterization" i.e. all areas of black/shadow in the film images are displayed as a red purple fluctuation.

There is absolutely no problem opening, movies, or images and audio tracks sound/Skype film is not in any way affected.  I suspect a hardware problem, but someone might suggest that he could be?  Thanks for any help BC
