PSC6 black artifacts Conversion RGB and sRGB on Dell

Hi guys, I recently changed pc and monitor causing a bloody problem with these color spaces!

My monitor is a Dell u2412m and by default it is set to:

Immagine3.jpg

Now when I open a RAW with ACR file and choose sRGB as the color space, the result is the following:

Immagine2.jpg

As you can see, the majority of the photo shows black shadows. If I save the file and open it with the windows image, it is perfect. Indeed, if I choose ProPhoto for monitor and for photo viewing is very good:

Immagine.jpg

I need to change the same RGB or sRGB color space before saving the final image so I really want a real Preview in photoshop to itself instead of saving first. If the problem occurs when I'm recording in RGB (less artifacts) and sRGB (lots of artifacts!). I don't understand this because I use the same default color for my monitor space. Any guess?

The pc configuration is:
Intel i7 3770

Beta driver Ati ATI HD7870 12.11

16 GB of RAM

It is probably this problem:

  • Should I convert Prophoto RGB to sRGB in the Lightroom print module?

My question is about my image sending over for my Epson printer via the Lightroom print Module: when I'm ready to print from Lightroom (after the back and forth-Photoshop and back) I have a final image in Prophoto RGB ready to print. Lightroom manages print colors (not the printer). I'm supposed to do a final conversion of ProPhoto RGB to sRGB in the Lightroom-print module, before sending it to my printer Epson R3000? If yes I can't find how do in the print module.  I just sent the Prophoto RGB image for the printer Epson R3000 via printing from Lightroom module being (Lightroom manages color, not the printer). Am I missing a final in sRGB conversion and all simply not seen how via the print module?

    PLEASE READ:

    (1) I KNOW do Lightroom and the paper profile, manage the color and not to let the printer manage. It all works very well.

    (2) I KNOW not if I export a jpg on the web (do not print) convert to sRGB in the export dialog box.

    (3) I correctly my color spaces selected as ProPhoto RGB in my preferences of Lightroom and Photoshop, everything works fine.

    (4) my EIZO monitor is calibrated, I use appropriate document profiles.

Forgive me if listing these things seems obnoxious, it is not my intention. I find that give lots of information is useful to those who might respond.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jim

I've never felt the need to convert. I have mild in using the profile paper appropriate to the evidence and then let Lightroom it's thing. Is there something wrong with the prints you do what makes you think that you need to convert?

Since the zoom, which forces a repaint, corrects the display at least temporarily, you can try to disable OMTC, a feature introduced in Firefox 33. Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the layers and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  • Dell Ultrasharp U2413, adobe and sRGB coverage with geforce classic

    Hello

This monitor has a 99% adobe rgb and 100% Srgb coverage, and is 30 bits.

However, to achieve this 30 bit (3 x 10) mode, you must use a graphics card that allows him, as a quadro. I don't have a Nvidia GTX 760, which is 24 Bits (3 x 8) I guess.

I would like to know how much coverage percentages are down when the monitor is plugged into a card. I would like a precise answer in percent.

Who will help me to know if it is worth for me to invest in such a screen, that I am not able also to change my graphics card in time.

    (1) the same coverage. The number of bits is to locate the 'points' within the gamut.
Put as an example: you have a sheet of A4 paper. It is the range. Then you can draw lines horizontally and vertically every 2 cm (~ 10 bits) and you get a set of intersections (colors) of the line. If you draw lines separated by 3 cm (~ 8-bit), you get less intersection on the same surface.

    (2) the coverage is for the native range (custom or standard OSD mode). Actual coverage for modes of calibrated pressure (sRGB and AdobeRGB) will depend on the quality of factory calibration. Expect the same from any manufacturer of the monitor with the same GBLED panels.

It is the same for the user in LUT3D calibration CAL1 and CAL2. If bought i1DisplayPro and use LUT3D calibration software presets "sRGB" or "AdobeRGB", wait for 99, 9-100% sRGB coverage and 96-99% AdobeRGB for each case.

    (3) with a nvidia gamer will not calibrate correctly in GPU, but LUT3D calibration will work fine. For a proper calibration GOU you need to a gamer AMD (8 bits) or a pro like nv Quadro or AMD over-pants (10-bit) card

This only happens when the image is a RGB Tiff and the layer mask is used to create transparency. If the image is saved as .psd, then it's fine. Also when tiff RGB is converted to CMYK, then it is ok.

I look forward to suggestions from anyone.

Ideally I might just start using the psd format, but I have to manage a lot of images that are already in tiff RGB and it's tedious to have to open and re-save all these.

  • Get a black screen BIOS afer and before Windows logon

So get a black screen after BIOS and before the Windows logon screen. I checked the RAM and one on two RAM sticks that was bad. But I still have the black screen. I tried an external monitor but still a black screen. I tried all the normal things (verification of the restore point disc, e.g. via the command prompt, startup repair, etc.) and no luck. I ran a test to check the hard drive, and it is impossible to find the hard drive. But then I ran AVG anti-virus, the AVG Live (bootable CD) and at the very start gave me this error: 106 error to the power of disk on life: 8768 (365 days + 8 hours) and underneath were basically the same error, just different numbers. But it still allowed me to run a scan and he was going through the files ok so she did not see the hard drive and files (contrary to the test of hard drive and yes the hard drive test was a bootable cd of same manf. like the hard drive), he found no virus. Even when I ran Defender in offline mode. Then I tried to re - install the operating system on the same drive with a cd. When he was going through the first part of the establishment where it was drivers and so forth: I kept getting the BSOD. Then I took the drive from the laptop and install it in another laptop but she has done the same thing, black screen, so I thought it was the hard drive. But then I begin another hard drive from the laptop and put it in the laptop original and he gave me the black screen and I know that the hard drive was good, she was an operating system that starts when I put it in the not troubled laptop. So any ideas anyone? Would it be possible that the all three things at once: RAM and hard drive laptop motherboard? Any help would be appreciated. Yet once, bios starts, just to Gets a black screen and does nothing after the bios but before the windows logon. The operating system is Vista and it is a Dell laptop, Studio. Any ideas?

    Thank you

Your question I know that some of these methods is not available now, however, all

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
