BlackBerry 10 BB password Leap

My wife is unable to access his account on his jump; his password is not recognized by BBID, evendough ID and password are correctly defined. We tried and tried, but now we are the 6th attempt and we do not want to go any further because you know what...  Any solution to propose?

Thank you very much!

Very well.

Take a look at the following link and the referenced articles here.

If you enter the password correctly, I don't know what else to try but a soft reset, then try again.

Also, if you have not yet, learn function BlackBerry anti-theft protection.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Passport Incorrect password Passport

    Hello

I have a problem with my passport for Blackberry. He said: "you have entered an incorrect password 5 times. After 10 failed attempts your device will be deleted. I entered the password correctly on the 6/10th attempt, but if I give the OK, the device does not open upward. Kindly help me as I don't have an idea if it could be a software problem or a device problem.

PS: It's just 10 days since I bought the phone and I need to get it replaced if there is a hardware problem.

    Thank you

    -Sisi.

First of all, you must know the password. There is no way to unlock the BlackBerry smartphone without entering the password. No one can help you.

Note If the device is and will prompt you to enter the blackberry. @sathyanmurali is probably the case for you. This is a security measure to prevent the user from wiping the device accidentally. After entering blackberry then unit will allow you to enter a password again. @ajaikappathayil This may apply to you as well, I'm not sure.

If you have entered a password and the error, but the meter does not change and you do not see the prompt to enter the blackberry, then enter blackberry anyway and see what happens. Or restart the device and see if you get invited to enter the blackberry.

Finally, it happens that some people create a password and do not use the characters they think, that they used. For example may think they are numbers but they realty entered the letters on the keys. Or are they supposed to enter capital letters and forget to press the SHIFT key. Anyway, watch your password and think mistakes you may have made.

But if you don't understand it, the device triggers a security wipe once the password is entered incorrectly 10 times. If you have made a backup, you will be able to restore the backup later. However, if you had a password enabled when you made the backup, you will need to unlock the device after that the backup is restored.

  • Message from yahoo blackBerry Smartphones Incorrect password

I get a message on my blackberry that my yahoo password is incorrect and I want to upgrade now. When I click on Yes and update it makes no difference. At the same time, I continue to receive e-mail messages that there was a sign in the attempt of an unknown source, which I suppose is my blackberry.

I removed the hub app and reinstalled without success. All ideas

Yahoo! recently admitted a data breach that occurred back in 2014. Thanks Yahoo for the notice in good time! They recently reset the passwords on multiple accounts. Have you tried to connect from an ordinary web browser and set a new password?

  • BlackBerry smartphone email PASSWORD LOOP NIGHTMARE!

Please can someone help me... Monday, I contacted BT on a new fixed rate, and I noticed just today that I wasn't getting emails on my Blackberry. I had to set up, then e-mail settings and can see the 'old' e-mail account that worked no probs until Monday. It requires a password, but I tried all the 'usuals' nothing works.  I went on the BlackBerry Internet Service site to try to reset my password, I managed to do that they sent my new password to my email address that does not work! So I can't access it now.  He went through on my PC (although it is the same email address), or my ipod (also same e-mail address), how can I have access to this password?  I tried all the other usuals solve this problem - I rebooted, got wifi on etc etc.  Please if anyone knows can they explain it in terms simple v that I am a techno * beep! * Thanks in advance,

    Hello again,

I solved the problem (with your help so thank you much for that)

I phoned Vodafone this morning, but he was using my cell phone to call therefore had to phone back tonight.  It turns out that the two e-mail addresses (address of BT) and My Vodafone address had been "knocked out" for example - I go to www.mobileemail.vodafone.net to log in and confirm a new password.  Vodafone have been able to help me with their address, but then I knew that the process for BT, (although I've had a few guesses a password!)  Vodafone customer service has been exemplary

But without your help I probably would not have thought phone Vodafone because I wasn't expecting to help (especially when I thought it was only a matter of BT)

Exactlywhat still im not sure caused the problem in the first place, but am very happy to have solved it. Thank you.

  • BlackBerry smartphone accessing password Keeper data using office software

I recently had a pressure of crack in the LCD screen on my Curve 8310.

I need to access my passwords stored in password keeper, however given that the LCD is toast, impossible to read anything on the phone.

I'm waiting on a replacement LCD screen, but need to pass, as soon as POSSIBLE.

Are there programs to display the program on the pc?

I tried a solution that actuall work, so I thought I'd post in case anyone else has this same problem.

I had previously saved data for my Blackberry Curve 8310 using the office management software.

I downloaded a Simulatr for my Curve 8310 and installed the software.  I found the Simulator to the BlackBerry Smartphone simulators - URL

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/developers/resources/simulators.jsp

Once the program was installed, I ran the program, which shows a picture of the phone.

I started my office management software.

Now to back in the Smartphone Simulator

In the menu, I selected 'USB cable connected' which simulates the connection of the smartphone.

Once I did this, the office management software prompted me to create settings then phone again.

Once I implemented this new virtual phone, I restored my backup from the virtual desktop management software to the new.

I could then use the mouse to go to the password manager and open the program.  It prompted me for my password and all data appeared.

Hope this helps someone else.  Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones validate password, is no, still no email

I'm SO frustrated. For 2 years I received emails on my blackberry without problem. Yesterday, I stopped receiving them and received a message to validate the password of my email address. When I go to the Setup email, it shows my email address (which I can connect fine with my computer) and it is red and below says "invalid account. Please validate. "  Then when I go to add (i.e. the option below the directive "validate") and try to add my account with the same email address and password I've always had, he told me that my email address is already registered and won't let add me it.  I even went to advanced option and deleted my e-mail on the service folder and tried to add again and it's the same process as above. Help, please!

Hi all... Sorry that none of the volunteers noticed this thread... I hope this isn't too late...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... they are 100% responsible for all of your services and all your formal support, regardless of the root cause of the problem. They can escalate cases RIM that they cannot manage without charge to the end user. So, if you need to call them, don't let them you fob off... think of him that way... you pay for all the services and support, and they currently deliver.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones forgotten password/BB protect restoration

    Hello

Not wishing to take my phone on hols with me that I put a password on it before I left and took note of it, just to be in the knowledge that it would be more safe in the unlikely case where was stolen recently.  On the way home, I entered what seems to me to be the password but I now attempt to input 9 and it still does not.  I made sure that I press the ALT key at the right time for the respective characters, but I fear that I'll end up having to go down the road to wipe it off because she still does not accept my password.

I have BB Protect installed, but my last backup was in February.  I think that the backups were not working because my contract has been terminated and now having subsequently bought a card SIM of Giffgaff my number is different (perhaps someone can confirm if this is likely to be the case).

Can someone please advise as to know if if I don't have to wipe the device, I will be able to restore the backup of the Feb, even if he did under a different mobile number - will be BB Protect care as it's always the same device with the same PIN?  I do somply follow the instructions here - Blackberry protect restore - KB25063?

    Thank you.

    You're welcome and good luck!
