  Try to rename settings.ini and check.

  a. make sure that the gadgets are completely closed (check in the Manager of tasks for sidebar.exe).

  b. open the browser, go to %localappdata%\microsoft\Windows Sidebar.

  c. save the file settings.ini in somewhere else.

  d. Rename settings.ini settings.ini.bak (or something else), it will regenerate the file. You need to add your gadgets back.

  e. open gadgets, it must be resolved.

  Unable to sign in Blackberry Protect.  Backup and restoration of function does not. Message is: "your device is not associated a Blackberry ID."  My Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry World works well so I'm sure this isn't a problem of ID on the phone.  I can sign in link, Blackberry.com and Protect.  I see my device to protect, but can't send messages, or view it on a map.  Times out with cannot reach peripheral message.  BB Protect on device has a circle whirling next to the on/off switch.  Cannot turn off.

  I deleted the link and re-installed.

  I reset the phone to the default (factory) and signed in.

  OS level is 10.2.1.3062

  I managed to understand this. I had to remove the device from the Blackberry Protect site.  Protect.BlackBerry.com. I deleted my new and connected device with my Blackberry ID.  I don't know if the step of wiping was necessary because I have not tried my backup with the current configuration of the device after the deletion.  The restoration is underway for me!

Everything works. No problems. FM... freaking magic!

  In the book, if I update the index file highlighted, select Format > Document > PDF Setup, the GroupTitlesIX tag appears in the list. But if I highlight all the files in the book, or even a single file in addition to the index, the tag does not appear.

  I generate the index using add it > command Index Standard. I just tried creating a new book from scratch, using models of default FM; generated an index for the book and see the same problem.

  I use p277 FM 8.0. What Miss me?

  FrameMaker is not the analysis of all the documents in a book when they offer paragraph formats to insert into a table of contents or PDF bookmarks. I seem to remember that having the format in the first file of the book is a good idea. Then make a book update before trying again.

• BlackBerry Torch Smartphone 9860 all the funcation key does not

  Dear all, I have my torch 9860 and facing a serious issue that all track pad and keys, including the menu key, the escape key, call key, lock screen and volume keys keys do not work. However, its touch screen works very well and you can write words by using the keyboard. You can also scroll by using the touch pad, but when you press keypad enter the command, it does not work.   I recommend reloading your operating system.  To do this, connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  The first thing you need to do is a backup of the data.  When your phone has been recognized, click device at the top, and then click Backup.  Once the backup is complete, restore your phone by clicking on the device and then restore.  Choose the most recent retore point and load.  Because your 'back' button works for your phone Safe Mode, we know that this is not a hardware problem, in order to restore your phone should solve the problem.

  The changeover between versions of outlook, the calendar has somehow stuck or something. Because it first checks the calendar, the other sync options do not work as well.

  The way I solved it was:

  I deleted all my calendar items in my BB. Theres a simpel how.

  Just go to calendar-online then see the grille-online go to-online put in a date away now as 2020, then will keep up to date and remove all previos nominations. So the only thing you need to do manually is delete the recurring date, such as birth dates and so on. Then clik options and check if there is any calendar item, so the counter is 0.

  Then reconnect the BB to the computer and now it will load all the data since the Outlook for BB.

  And after that it will synchronize right once again.

  Problem solved.

• BlackBerry Smartphones installed BBDM 5.0 and it does not connect to the device

  I upgraded from 4.6 to 5.0 BBDM and since the BBDM does not recognize my Curve 8330.  Follow the instructions in troubleshooting and they do not seem to work.   Try to disconnect the BlackBerry to the PC, turn off the PC and allow it to restart.

  Meanwhile, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

• The cutting tool does not work after windows updates.

  I read answers to similar questions about the failure of the cutting tool.  I use the tool cutting regularly and I think it's a fantastic tool in Windows. I have Vista Ultimate and all my windows updates have managed: none were not installed correctly, and I did not install new programs or hardware.  It seems that Microsoft knows the snipping tool does not - why can't they simply provide an update patch to correct the problem, rather than make us do all the work.  I don't have to go through hoops of restorations etc to get something it seems work was broken by updates.  I'm about to go to a Mac.
