  I am extremely satisfied with the functionality of my Blackberry Bold 9900 and yet I am fun the idea of upgrading to a classic Blackberry and had a few questions, some of them functional, but one of them is technical:

  (1) I have granularily configured different contacts to the ring through "silent" while some people may sound through if I'm having a NAP or sleep. The classic allows you granularily configure the option of 'ring through' on a manually configured silent mode?

  (2) can the classic surely go to sleep and wake up one day of week / weekend schedule? My current phone doesn't sleep at midnight and wake up at 06:00 every night of the week and 02:00 to 09:00 on weekends.

  (3) back in the day of Blackberry older had a view "of today" where you could see the incoming email and tasks on the main screen. I couldn't get that with my Bold 9900, but I found this interesting app called BePopup which jumps to the top of my texts and emails on the screen as they come, without touching a button. Can you get automatically posted emails or texts with that with the classic?

  (4) the Blackberry plan I have with my provider uses the platform communications for my Blackberry RIM and so my e-mails are immediate, arriving minutes always quicker than other CC (iPhone and Android users) distribution lists. That being said, is the new classic uses what platform these other phones use for messaging connectivity?

  Any feedback regarding these essential functions would be greatly appreciated as it will help me in my decision. I am very happy with my 9900 and have little reason to upgrade... unless all of these options are available.

  Is there a way to prevent calendar reminders of arise while the Maps app is running and navigation? When the reminder appears, to physically hit reject on the phone in order to resume using the Maps app, which can be dangerous while driving, or result in a post of police for distracted driving.

  The only way I found to so this is to manually disable reminders for all existing calendar appointments and to ensure that the new calendar appointments created are created with no reminder. I prefer not to disable reminders on calendar for appointments, that they synchronize with ActiveSync and it will turn off the Outlook as well.

  Are there other solutions to this problem? We use a variety of BB 10 phones (Q10, Z10, Z30 and classic).

  I think as you described is the only way to deal with these reminder... or not to set reminders, or tap on reject when they appear.

  As far as I know, there is no way to disable the pop - up reminders of calendar cards while is in use.

  When you have installed your own copy of Windows 7, you have deleted the recovery partition (Assist/F10 function will not work).

  To restore your computer to factory settings and also restore the recovery partition, you can probably buy for your vaio recovery disks.

  I try to activate the key feature and WiFi in my new HP 15 - ac043tu laptop.

  I use Windows 7 Ultimate 32 operating system.

  To activate the function key, I installed driver: HP System Event Utility - sp71716, but it doesn't seem to work.

  In Device Manager, network controller shows exclamation as shown below. I tried to install Broadcom and Realtek WLAN drivers, tried to turn on/off, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers referring to other positions, but that did not work.

  

  I also tried to install HP SoftPaq Download Manager, but it did not help. Tool does not show my product described.

  I went through a similar question posted by other members, but failed to get the solution. This question gave me hard times.

  Summer running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit for months without problem on my G2 ElitePad 1000; application Windows 10 updates throughout - so far. Yesterday, 12/11/2015, 1511 (threshold 2) updated version of Microsoft automatically downloaded and rebooted to start installation of operating system upgrade. The upgrade completed the first phase "Copying files" and began the second phase "Patterns and drivers", then stopped (paused) to 40% total progress/23% features and drivers progress with no other response. Only one stop 'hard' (hold down the power button / stop for at least 10 seconds) worked. On 'power up' the result was a "restore previous version" immediately, and subsequent reboot restored my previous login - as expected.

  HP have a new image or update for Windows Pro 64 - bit version 1511/threshold 10 2? The update is put on hold due to a driver issue? Any advice would be appreciated.

  Finally, a solution for me! I used Microsoft's latest "MediaCreationTool" (as of 11/13/2015) to download and create a "USB stick" (08/01/2016) upgrade support. Stick created USB contained more than 3 GB of content upgrade. Started my ElitePad in my 10 original Windows operating system upgrade, and then insert the USB in my ElitePad. Launched "Setup.exe" on the USB key to start the process to level, and left the USB connected until the upgrade is completed; several reboots of the upgrade. Once launched from Setup.exe, a menu background blue proceeded and displays "Check updates" for more than 15 minutes (check the updated drivers, etc.), and then proceeded to the display of the upgrade process (progress circle GUI). The upgrade has completed in 90 minutes without a hitch. So far, all programs and functions are intact. I guess that is focused on the HP drivers updated (finally) in the current construction of 1511, and/or the last created USB stick media works where Microsoft Update (via Microsoft Update servers) has a problem. For me, this solves my problem to upgrade v1511. I hope this helps others.
