• BlackBerry personal passport, work Z30 - Questions before I make begins.

  My Q is on how to better implement my new passport (personal Sim) with Z30 (working Sim).

  GOAL - have all things running through my passport (personal Sim) any transfer of calls to Z30 (Sim works) because I only use calls for communication with the work. (Can connect in the future the work email) for now it is ok on Z30.

  History - receive a Z30 of work about 4 months (LOVED IT!).  I have basically everything (emails, social networking, applications) who are related to it and gave it a test drive, including the mixture.  Company's BES so I turn back on (personal work) BONE (working Sim) device.  I have a life on my (personal Sim) and need to keep the number (daily driver).  I have only to say 12-15 by phone with loads of emails to a large company (working SIM).

  I want to undo what I've done with the Z30 (emails, social applications, which should be easy) but Blend?. If I decide in the future get the emails from work to my personal HUB it will affect the passport and the mixture too (BES)?  Not sure if I want to keep the entire staff on the working device or working on the personal device. Can you use 2 BB phones on the same mixture for 1 PC?  Is not a question continue to have e-mail sent to (work Sim) but if BES, is that I think that it is, this shouldn't be a problem.

  So my options are

  1 cancel everything and use Passport for personal use, personal mix, 1 PC. Z30 for work so that the calls redirection to Passport and no work Blend.

  2 (I hope) - passport to use for personal use, with BES sent up the personal phone for email to work. Calls forward since Z30 passport and use of mixture if possilbe as I do on Z30 right now.

  Reason is 95% of personal time communication with the work of 5%.  Unless I get a dual sim phone but I'm back for Blackberry and should not otherwise!

  I have a Samsung Galaxy NOTE, but cannot type well enough with the touch screen, am looking at the BBB 9900, preferably in white. So, im, considering the pros and cons of a white "BOLD" but I'm

  • NOT universally available in Western Canada
  • not offered on the site of bb in white (when I click on the white color then the bold 9900 faints as an option to purchase)
  • not available mobile wind (only in black)
  • quoted on ebay package brand new, open, not damaged between $ 500 and $ 800 and a seller Ebay says NOT AVAILABLE for CANADA

  Q1: Since it is only available in black at WIND MOBILE - so if I buy it in white on EBay - does make a difference (the package said--no open - unused - intact)

  Q2: Can U see no downside to use white (the question mark does not have this form of forum) except that it is no longer visible in white and can be more easily stolen

  Q3: On several languages - when I type a text msg in English I want to also use a few words in Korean: is it possible with blackBerry 9900 (question mark). On my Samsung Galaxy Note - When I slip my finger along the space bar I can switch the language - can BBB9900 do this (question mark).

  Q1: What are the main differences between the different holders of are the frequencies that carriers use to 3G.  So, if buy you one on eBay you may be limited on BOARD and get 3G data speeds.

  Q2: The color of the device has nothing to do with all the features.

  Q3: We language device options, but probably do not come with other languages.  You will need to find a BONE that contains the desired languages.

  Q4: There is no reason to get into a store.  As long as the device you purchase is unlocked for use on other networks, you'll need to do is insert the sim card and it should work.  It takes a special data plan your carrier's BlackBerry so that data to work services.

  After that you can restore information from ipd file saved to your new device.

  I have an iPhone and I'm sure most of you know that you can get prepaid cards to make purchases of applications.

  Of course, I don't have a credit card, and I guess that's how make you payments? is there another way?

  I'm trying to get some clarification on the use of Typekit, and fonts for commercial use. We are a video game publisher and our marketing team uses CC for teams to make resources for our games.

  Here are some of the questions asked by our management team:

  1. are all the fonts in the kit of type OK for commercial use?

  2. the following uses, which are OK and which are not OK?  Vary fonts, or are identical terms throughout the entire library?

  • do logos? these logos can be used:
    • on the packaging of the game
    • in PR communications (e-mails, press releases, etc.)
    • in the trailers
    • on our Web site
    • in the title of the game screen (note, more often .ai and .png format)
  • copy of marketing
    • on the packaging of the game
    • in e-mails and newsletters
    • trailers to
    • on our Web site

  3 are OK fonts for use around the world, which means that the assets we create can be distributed around the world?

  4. the fonts are editable? (this is to say, say that the letter 'W' is difficult to read. Can we change it?)

  5. are there any other restrictions that we should be aware of?

  We understand that the distribution of the police is illegal because it is considered to be a software. If the font file itself is unable to enter the game, but a chart that is created by using the font is allowed, is that correct?

  Every Typekit fonts are available for commercial use. It covers almost everything that you listed in question 1, as long as you use only a static graphic images in the game (eg. (PNG). It is not possible to use Typekit fonts in a reliable HTML email, so we do not support at this time.

• Keyboard for Smartphones blackBerry with three languages + other question

  Hello, question about the keyboard. I've used for several years, both physical KB (z30) virtual bb10 KB (passport - best physics kb). Something that both got kb was very well the ability to write in several languages at the same time, in the sentence, and the Ko magically would correctly identify what language I was using and could give me any suggestions according to this and more important still, if one has been written in English but then type something in my second or third language , will not auto correct. Now, I have a private and I have these two questions:
  1. - I can not type in several languages at the same time without changing the language first. I put the three I use most, but all the suggestions and auto correct options are in the main language only. I'm surprised because this has been well implemented with bb10 and yet a BlackBerry smartphone. Any suggestion?
  2 - for some reason, in mid sentence, a word would have the first capital letter, just the option in the space bar is the same word I wrote, but with a capital letter. Boring.

  Sorry for the late reply, I didn't know you posted a suggestion... I had put everything in settings multilingual, but did not work. However apparently, in android, there's the thing that I found in another forum so let me add here... I followed these instructions step by step and now I have a kb truly multilingual, with automatic detection... some steps I've done it before with no luck but to do all in sequence... If you previously installed the multilanguage, delete it and start from scratch:

  1. install and activate the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Go to the language and entry
  * Go to "default keyboard / current keyboard", press "configure the inputs.
  method' and activate the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Select BlackBerry keyboard as default keyboard

  2 configure the keyboard
  * Under the keyboard and input methods, tap on the BlackBerry keyboard
  * Press on multilingual keyboard
  * Choose your main language (which is in German) and the secondary
  language (IE. US English)
  * Press on save at the top right and click on "activate now".
  * You will now see a dialog language. Disable 'language use of the system '.

  AND NOW COMES THE BIG THING:
  * In the language list that is displayed, you will notice that your
  main language is listed TWICE (in my case GERMAN and just below a
  second GERMAN. Select the SECOND ENTRY and DO NOT select your
  language school (in my case English of the United States) in the list.
  * Press return to save the configuration

• BlackBerry Z10 home (task) screen Question

  Just updated to the new OS 10.3.2 last night.  The homescreen (task) used to is available only when there is active apps running in the background and once all applications have been closed, he returned to screen the applications or Hub, and the homescreen (tasks) would disappear.  Now, the new operating system always keeps the homescreen (tasks) all the time (even when I slide up to unlock the phone) and I have to manually drag to make the apps or HUB screen appear.  Question, is there a setting that will return the previous behavior?  Not really a technical problem, but more than one anoyance.

  To switch back to the previous behavior do the following steps. Let me know if it helps

  On the home screen, go to settings, click on display and Interior will go off to see the wallpaper when all applications are closed.

• BlackBerry App may make payments of world Blackberry

  For the last 4 days, I have not be able to make payments from world of Blackberry. I made several purchases with the card on the file before.  I have the following error:

  "This purchase cannot be completed.  Please select a different payment method. (AW10000c) »

  (1) I changed my AMEX visa.

  "This purchase cannot be completed.  Please select a different payment method. (AW10000c) »

  (2) I made a purchase later in the day with the two cards to see if they are active.  They are.

  (3) I talked to VISA and AMEX to see if there were any blocks. There are not.

  (4) I've changed back to VISA.

  "This purchase cannot be completed.  Please select a different payment method. (AW10000c) »

  (5) T-Mobile does not offer carrier billing.

  (6) I don't have PayPal

  (7) two different cards, both can make purchases everywhere else.  Two card providers mean that cards are very good.  This seems to be a problem with Blackberry World.

  I called my provider (T-Mobile), which opened a ticket with the official support of Blackberry.  Level 1 technicians were unable to resolve the problem and back to Blackberry level 2.  I had to provide some information, account #, the last 4 digits of CC, billing address, etc., but after some time (a few days), that the level 2 technicians were able to discover the problem and 'unlock' my account. Boo - yah! Told me that BB world had auto-bloqué my account to try to prevent fraud (even though we didn't know the reason that BB world suspicions of fraud). Despite everything, they unlocked it and I can make payments and successfully buy apps through BB new world.

  Someone else who has this problem, you need to open a ticket with the official support of Blackberry. This isn't a problem with your credit card or to the version of the software.  It occurs somewhere in the depths of the internal systems of blackberry and cannot be solved by anyone but the official Blackberry support.

  No thanks for the non-aide of the so-called 'technical assistance' community who have steadfastly refused to acknowledge the problem or even an attempt to provide a unique solution.

  I hope that this resolution will help others.

• Missing message from Smartphones blackBerry & Call History

  Without changing options, my BB has decided that he does not want to keep any sort of history of email, SMS or calls.  I checked the General options and I have it set to keep Messages: Forever.

  You are facing constraints of memory in your device. Perform the following steps-

  1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
  2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
  3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove
  4. If you stored your image in the memory of the device to move them to your media card

• BlackBerry Bold 9900 Smartphones facebook question

  Starting yesterday I started to have problems to display notifications FB in my BB message folder.  The notification comes up saying "posted by Facebook user in"Unknown Album".  It has a date of 31 December 1969 19:00.  This messages for all notifications.  I have not changed something pertaining to my settings.  It doesn't let me see the notification.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but problems continue.  Any suggestions?

  So I a new user question that I didn't see it in the manual for the "BOLD".

  I know that you can attach the "BOLD" blackberry via bluetooth and using the usb cable.

  The question is can I just broadcast using the phone to create a wireless connection, can I use it with a laptop as the iphone?

• BlackBerry Smartphones BBM (not a question of PEEM)

  Yesterday I bought a Blackberry 3 G (9300) mobile. I have inserted my sim card from my iPhone and proceeded to add contacts, etc. I was then informed that I couldn't use the services of Blackberry without having a Blackberry bolt - on on my account. I bought this bolt on and I am still yet to be able to connect and use the services on the mobile such as Facebook or mobile web browser. My friend who is well-versed in BlackBerry told me that my phone was not downloading the service books correct to connect to these applications.

  I currently use the phone with 3rd party Twitter applications (so I can connect to the internet).

  My network provider is o2UK, I have a data plan and I also have a bolt blackberry we activated.

  My internet settings under TCP IP are below:
  APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
  APN username: payandgo
  APN password: password

  In my view, that the question is registration of the device to obtain the correct service books.

  The bolt is active (it came as ready to use when I registered on the site Web of O2).

  I have no idea what fixed my problem, but this morning the 3G logo on the top right of my phone has changed for a 3 g one (tiny g). I thought something was up, then I restarted the phone Mr. then I got a Blackberry message saying that my device was placed on the network.

  I then had access to all the features of BB as FB and BBM.

  Just display to help others in the future.

  I asked on another forum but really did not have a satisfactory answer. I hope that you guys will do a better job, even if it doesn't seem like a silly question.

  When I looked at the screen with the 8900, Javelin, he said, and yet it's a curve. Why two names and what's really, a curve, a Javelin or step between the curve and the "BOLD"? And if it's a curve, why is it called a Javelin?
