Missing message from Smartphones blackBerry & Call History

Without changing options, my BB has decided that he does not want to keep any sort of history of email, SMS or calls.  I checked the General options and I have it set to keep Messages: Forever.

He does everything first Wednesday night and once again last night.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

You are facing constraints of memory in your device. Perform the following steps-

  1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
  2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
  3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove
  4. If you stored your image in the memory of the device to move them to your media card

  • Message from Smartphones blackBerry of RIM for the owners of Blackberry messenger

I received a forwarded BBM message to a couple of my friends today saying this:

Hello, greetings from RIM (Research In Motion) BlackBerry owners. This message is to inform all of our users, our servers have been recently really full, so we ask for your help to solve this problem. We need our active users to re - send this message to everyone on your list of contacts in a way to confirm our active users who use BlackBerry Messenger, if you do not send this message to all your BlackBerry Messenger contacts, then your account will remain inactive with result in losing all of your contacts.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is the only possible way to solve this problem. Sincerely from Research in Motion. For more information visit:

Is there any truth to this? I checked the link to Blackberry and got a message saying that the page was not found.

My favorite is the technical term that they use "very comprehensive."

    It is indeed a hoax.

A hoax message circulating on BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) asks users to message BBM to their contacts in order to maintain the BBM service and claims to have been sent originally by Research In Motion (RIM).

Be assured that this BBM message did not come from the RIM and that it does not affect the security of BlackBerry smartphones. It is simply a string of hoax message. Unfortunately, many social networking applications in the face of this scenario, according to which no message, including a hoax message, can be transmitted to a user of one of their contacts. We recommend that users simply ignore the message and do not convey.

English version of the broadcast message illegitimate:

  • History of messages from Smartphones blackBerry as an attachment

    Hello

is it possible, whenever I have reviece an email through BIS, to receive the message, then history as an annex? I have very limited traffic through BIS (3 MB/month) and so when I get an email with a very long histor (who can be of ~ 300kb) 10% of my monthly traffic is gone, you even (most of the time) I don't need history at all.

I use my BIS with Googlemail. In Google, each Email a conversation can be considered separately. I would have the same function for BIS...

    Is this possible?

    Greetings, Lennart

regardless of the size of the email, ONLY the first 2 KB of the email is pushed to your device. When you open and scroll down the email, he will anticipate you want 2 k's next segment.

You can disable the 'IVA' function in the message options. This will help. And then, you'll be assured that only 2 k of any email is on your device until you want more.

  • Message from Smartphones blackBerry re: MEMORY

I'm starting to feel a little awkward here... lol. A message just appeared on my screen; Here's what he said: "the available memory is low. To free the memory, use the Setup Wizard to remove unused display languages. "What should I do? All right, is it? Thank you...

Before taking the battery, I have a problem. With my previous Sony Ericsson phone, if the battery has been removed, some of the stuff was lost, as my call list. I always thought it was pretty stupid... something will happen to my BlackBerry when I do this?

I would like to clarify that for other users: remove the battery and reinsert will NOT affect anything other than to re-establish communications with the BB and clear the free memory on the device. It does not remove personal data or settings - at all. It is actually recommended by RIM for several reasons, of which one is in this case.

  • Display of emails from Smartphones blackBerry as 'read '.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Since you're on BES, you really should work with your BES admin... they have a lot of things and it is possible that they apply an expiration that you aren't aware of the control.

Otherwise, here are some tips to use:

  • Internet from Smartphones blackBerry stuck on BB Bold

    Hello world

Last year, I left the company that I worked and they gave me a spare BB "BOLD". They used to have a BED server until 2013, and that's they had a few blackberrys as spare part.
I use this phone so far, but after I did a hard reset I could no longer surf the Internet or add email accounts. It seems that the old BES server that they no longer have blocking somehow my phone.
I tried to contact the guys from my old job and they said that the BES server is not in operation for 2013 and that they can't do something...

Is there a solution for me please? How to break the link to an old Server BES completely and use MY phone as usual?

    Thank you very much

  • Missing messages from blackBerry Smartphones

I've been texting back last night and when I went to look at messages this morning, none of the messages are on my phone.  It shows here and there a few emails but none of my text messages.  I know that I don't remove any of them, so what could happen to them?  This happened to someone else?

It is a common problem with this phone.  On the forums I've read, the main question is related to memory.  On the phone memory is limited.  The more programs you have installed (especially if being run), then the most often, you will have this problem.

A few things that I found to help (other forums) with this problem on my phone:

    1. Go into "Options: Status" it will show you "Free File" and "File Total" If you have less 12 000 000 bytes of free space, and then your phone isn't really enough memory to function optimally.  This means that you have too many programs, or too much memory is used on your device.
    2. Go to: "Internet browser: press blackberry: options: cache operations ' then 'Clear history' and cache then erase content, clear pushed content, disable the cookie cache.  This will free up a lot of space.
    3. Go to "Options::Advanced Options::Applications" and delete the apps that you don't use. for example I do not brickbreaker or Notes or Sprintstore, etc.  In addition, delete the various language modules that you do not use.
    4. Go to: "camera: Hit Blackberry button: access options: click on the images to store"-change this in "On Media Card" so that the photos are saved on your memory card (providing you have a).  This will free up memory resources on your device.
    5. Come on in "Media::Hit Blackberry button::scroll up to options: devide all limit memory 12 MB: value reserved pictures memory 0 MB" this will ensure that your device does not use memory by recording media on the device itself, rather it will store it on the map.
    6. Remove all old text messages that you don't want.  However, if there are messages you want, SAVE THEM! (must be done individually)  To remove all previous messages you can scroll to the date and the hit blackerry button, then 'delete forward' - it will delete all messages in this folder before that date (do the same for sent messages).
    7. Finally, do a hard reset from time to time. (once a week)  This means removing the battery for 10 seconds and put it back in and wait for only 3 minutes it takes to begin the terrible backup of.
    8. Repeat step 1 and see how much you free memory!

    General "maintenance of memory."

    1. Do a hard reset often, especially if you think you have been browsing many Web sites or send/receive a lot of texts.
    2. Clear your internet cache often.
    3. Delete text messages you do not want to register, often.
    4. Instead of hitting the button 'back' (the button next to the red end call button) to leave applications... click on the blackberry button (button next to the talk button) and scroll down to "close" or "exit".  This will STOP the application, freeing the memory.  If you only use the arrow to the left, these programs will continue to run in the background, so using your memory.

Finally, make sure your BlackBerry software is on the most up-to-date OS (operating system) as possible.  Connect it to your blackberry desktop and see if there are updates...

    {under the direction of life private}

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

I do not recommend you publish here on the internet for personal information for everyone to see. I would change this last line, if I were you

Why are you receiver Missed Call notifications in your eyes... on your PC? huh?

You are on a corporate BES account? If so, I guess that's because your Messages are reconciled by BES in your PC Outlook?

If all this is really the case, that don't... Your GREEN phone dialing press > press Menu > Options > Call Logging = NONE.

Now, no calls missed in your Messages and none in your Outlook. Perhaps.
