  Is it possible to programmatically change the State or even meet with instant messages on a third-party application BlackBerry Instant Messaging?

  I was looking around the classes net.rim.blackberry.api.blackberrymessenger. * and extract from the example code of TicTacToe.  My understanding is that it only allows to add an application service (game of tic tac toe) menu the blackberry messenger.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  BlackBerryMessenger is a protocol based on session. Communications are app-to-app, as shown in the example of TicTacToe.

  You can not intercept the communications of another application.

  No, they are not saved anywhere.  If you want to record a conversation, you can (while IN the convo), click the wheel/Menu button and click Copy history.  Then, you will also need to paste it somewhere (like an e-mail or a note of memo pad).

  Really, I can't get an answer to this anywhere, its so frustrating!

  I have Blackberry passport and I run 2 groups of slimming great world where I have thousands of phone numbers in my phone, I'm sending hundreds of texts each week. I can go in a records of individual members and remove previous posts but I have hundreds of members that I couldn't possible every day, so is there a setting on blackberry 10 that says delete automatically after 4-6 weeks, because I tried looking in the settings and can't find it!

In any case, I have provided you with everything that exists natively on the device. If that does not meet your needs, your next step is searching for applications 3rd party who could do what you want.   Hi all!

  the e-mail on my 9320 function does not work correctly. I have correctly configured my gmail on mydevice account and I get emails and receive notifications when they arrive, HOWEVER...

  When I opened the email all I see is heading for the topic and who it is from, there is no message body. Looking back through my old emails, the only ones I have read completely are those that I received BlackBerry when I first set up my email confirming the installation. If I select answer or forward, it opens the E-mail project but then the email app is closed completely and I'm suddenly brought to my home screen.

  What I've tried so far:

  -Turning device and turn it on again

  -removal and setting up my email account once again

  -wear the device to where I bought it. they offered to download blackberrydesktop on my PC Manager and backup then restore my phone. I did it without a change in behavior from my blackberry

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I used blackberry protect to find my Z10 and when I tried to turn off the sound, the sound would not stop. I had to pull the battery. When I replaced my battery, a message appeared on the black screen before the home screen (when I wake my z10) which read: "to stop ringing, on the right side of the device, press the Volume key. This message will not go away. It's been several days now. I did battery pulls, restarted my legacy, turned off my camera... Nothing helps. The message remains.   Battery pull didn't work, but I re-found my camera, replayed the sound and when I stopped the sound by using the volume low... The message went away.

  How do I listen to an event of BB Messenger? I see in the OS 4.2.1 API, you can do BlackBerryMessenger.registerServer (), but it is not very clear how to build a service.

  The BlackBerry Messenger API support all incoming messages, only those for a session recorded by listening application.  For an example, take a look at the tictactoedemo provided with the BlackBerry JDE.

  Can someone help me, please?

  I get an error message when I try to use AppWorld to download. I am trying to download Dropbox, but the same thing happens with any application.

  I get to the screen of the application and click Download and it begins to 'think', then it brings up this message:

  I went on the Dropbox website and tried to download from here, but he got half way through the download and showed an error.
