BlackBerry 10 you plan to switch to the Q10

Hi all

I thinking about moving to the Q10 of the iPhone, but there are some key features I really depend on and ask you your kind advice if BB10 is able to do.

1. I use the Gmail app on the iPhone and it has the ability to save frequently used e-mail addresses that I send to my browser and seized semiautomatic them when I send it in the Gmail iPhone app. BB10 will be able to do this?

2. the ability send as e-mail addresses as all my work mail gets forwarded to my Gmail account. There are workaround solutions I came across Crackberry.com and I was wondering if anyone knows if the bugs were bypassed which means that some emails don't come through as a secondary label was assigned to them in Gmail.

If 2 above work well, I have very will certainly go to Q10 as I really miss the keyboard!

Ahhh... I see. Well, most e-mail administrators have to put some limits. In most e-mail systems, a large mailbox may endanger the health of the entire system, which can cause problems for all users of one of them having too big of a mailbox. It is a delicate balance that they work, especially to determine what is the definition of "large".

What is encouraged is the use of storage methods that are outside the system/server...depending real e-mail on your e-mail system to work as well as your e-mail client, you may be able to create local files (e.g., PST) that store your 'old' emails and allow then the mailbox (on the server) to stay within the limits. And, depending on the email client you use (for example, Outlook), it may "look and feel" just as usual, just a different selection within the interface of email to get the former goods. This means that the older items are available on this platform, of course, so it's really is useful only when something of really can be archived (for example, you can access these items archived from your mobile device). Email admins don't like really not their servers to hold data "archive".

But, fortunately, it means is that you can then send "in" your professional e-mail account on your mobile device. You might consider some rules on your job server. Yet once, not knowing what it is, I can't be terribly accurate. But, if you can create another rule, which, after the automatic transfer, the item is moved to another folder on your job server (for example, to Inbox, and in another folder), then it will not be duplicated on your mobile device. Of course, it would say that, when you want to really 'reply', you'll only on your mobile device element which has been automated to GMail transfer, which means that you may not have actually to a little 'answer', but rather will have to use forward and then change the account 'from' on your mobile device so that re-enter the information 'to '.

Or... on your BB10 device, you can control which shows in the primary area of 'Hub Messages' (it's a 'Inbox unified", showing you the elements of all accounts into your device, but you can control which accounts actually feed 'Hub Messages'). For example, you can prevent "Hub Messages" to view these items received on your professional e-mail account. If you really want to 'reply', you would have to pull to the left to view the menu of "peek" Hub and then select your professional account, find the specific email, then open it to use this response.

Or, some other workflow might work better for you... There are a lot of choices and methods available. You will probably need to experiment a bit to find the method that suits you best.

  • Passport of the Blackberry link Switch of the Device VS blackBerry

    As I make my way data Iphone6 to my passport for Blackberry, I used the switch of the device and Device link (on my Mac Book Pro) to get my data on my passport for Blackberry.  I used the link for all other than the photos and the video data (I used Switch Device only because I couldn't get the video photo SNA to load).  It seems to me that the two methods is suppose to work.  The switch treats took about 6 hours to load my photos and video.

    Question:

    What is the consensus for what you feel is the most quick and effective way to transfer data from my Blackberry passport for the new edition of the money that comes to me today?  Maybe 10 BlackBerry Blackberry 10 may be easier?

    I intend to throw my BB7.1 device and get the new Z10. However, I am not sure if special features are there or not. Can is anyone of BB10 owners explain if these features are available:

    1-universal Search to search your phone contacts, messages social and different applications by simply typing the expression of research on home screen.

    2. is it possible to use peripheral device BB 7.1 switch application to migrate to the Z10 device? It copies successfully identity, contacts, applications, etc?

    3. as for now, fill BB7.1 with my PlayBook is a good feature that allows me to browse my SMS, messages, BBM discusses the playbook. Will it be the same with Z10?

    4 - What are the applications in the world of BlackBerry for BB10? are there applications reviews those currently lacking? is there some new good apps?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones after switch of the device to the same model, BB missing Apps (like cards and password keeper)

    I had problems for a long time with my keyboard on my BB Bold 9900, so finally I was given a used to toggle Bold 9900. I have used the functionality of the switch device of BlackBerry Desktop (v7.1) software and was off and running on my 'new' "BOLD". Finally, I noticed that the cards and password keeper are missing on my new phone. I did a lot of digging through our corporate HelpDesk, phone call from mobile provider support, and if Google search (incl. various BlackBerry support forums). Nowhere is that I found a solution that worked.

    A number of sources did the download card www.blackberry.com/ but that results in a message of "Opinion sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Maps."

    When I look in the Applications tab of BB Desktop Software, BlackBerry Maps is not listed (is not password keeper).

    Two of my phones are running OS 7.1 Bundle 2840. Carrier SaskTel (part of the network of Bell Mobility).

    Any ideas?

    From what you describe, something is not right when you installed/updated / switched devices. Thus, a clean reload of the OS would be the right thing to do. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

    6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

    If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    I now use a SS Galaxy Note After the termination of my plan with Rogers where I used a Sony Ericsson K790A of 2007 which has been a pain in my fingers to type (pressing the key '7' 4 times to get an "s" LOL).

    Im having trouble typing on the screen Android Galaxy Note (many corrections, difficulty getting the cursor where I want, etc.) and my msg speed has decreased substantially.

    So, I want to dedicated as on the BB keys. IM now Scouting on BB against Android

    but I'm afraid to see Rogers have different regimes of BB and ppl so many here have so many fundamental problems with things that are a mistake on the Galaxy Note like GMAILs disappear from their screens and calendar synchronization issues and you name it.

    Can anyone recommend a phone good qwerty keyboard which is a bar phone and more reliable than the BB?

Well a couple of weeks my blackberry has started to develop an annoying problem. When in a call, most of the time (not all) he starts switching between icon of headset and normal speaker. When this happens, you can hear the phone switch between the two through the speaker, and it makes it so I can't hear someone and they don't hear me. I'm out of my warranty of 30 days of ATT, but I think im still well within the warranty of the RIM. I admittidly dropped, but this should not happen. Nothing like this has happened to any other phone I've owned. Is this what can I do to get some sort of replacement?

    My blackberry 8330 has switched to the built in default memory for my photos.  I have a media card that has been there since the phone was new. About 3 times before, the phone reset and it takes me forever to find the place in the settings to set the default value to the press card.  This time, I can't find the screen to do it.   Can someone walk me through the steps to get there?  Thank you

  • Applications using cmd + tab switching does not work (reverse return) when you use several spaces in the Sierra

    I usually have a lot of apps open it in full screen across a number of different areas.  In El Capitan, when I used cmd + tab to switch apps, it would just go directly to the application in the entire app was opened in.  Now, he tries to switch to the app, but then IMMEDIATELY switches to the space, in that I was already.  It's like if someone is sitting there playing this cruel on me joke where whenever I try to go to the app, it shows to me and then immediately sent me immediately.  Everyone knows something similar to this?

    To re-create the problem, have a few apps open it in full screen in different spaces, then try to switch to another application in another space using cmd + tab or try to switch to an application that is just open on the main office space.  It comes immediately rebascule on your original app!  I'm ready to tear my hair out!

    Having a printer at the office and one at home, but use the same PC for both? Unable to print at home after bring you it to the office (and vice versa)?

    If you USB, most of the time, the PC will recognize what printer is which. Sometimes PORTS does not commute. You can manually change the correct ports if necessary.

    CLICK ON THE MENU START

    1 devices and printers

    2 right CLICK on the printer

    3. choose the PRINTER PROPERTIES

    4. click on PORTS

    5. There will be a list of ports with one (checked marked). If it's on the wrong port, change to the right pair and choose APPLY.

    (NOTE: it must ALWAYS be on a USB port or a wireless connection.) Some ports wireless start with a #(adresse IP) or a SERIAL number)

    I hope this helps. Sometimes, you can create your own port if you have more questions.

    My update of 10.3.1.1565 sali writing entry to the top on my phone.  so I tried the downgrade to 10.2.1 to do all my files are gone, however I thought I was smart by making this morning during the execution of 10.3.1.1565 a full backup before attempting the downgrade to os 10.2.1 through BlackBerry Link

    In any case I had to restore my device to 10.3.1.1565 and now when I try to do a restore by using the .bbb (backup) I created to present IE get the following error message:

    BlackBerry 10 data is not compatible with the version of the software of the device you are currently using

    versions of the software on my phone now and the version of the software when I did my backup are exactly the same 10.3.1.1565.  I am able to restore my user files and applications ect, because it proposes to make a partial restoration,., but my contacts and don't forget files are now gone.  I NEED THEM.  How can I get that back...

    I thought about it.  so I thought I'd post.  Apparently the BlackBerry pulled the 10.3.1.1565 update.  Anway don't know what happened over butI usng Shenshi and grabbing an update of another carrier, after that, so I'm now able to do a full restore using my old BBB file.
