BlackBerry 8310 smartphones can find applications after installation

On my 8310, when I install a new application, I don't get any errors, but once installation is complete I can't find the app anywhere even if I select 'show all '. If I try to re - install, I get a warning "the application is already installed, you want to re - install? When the application is made to install, if I select "run" application starts and runs, but when I leave I can't find him. If I look in advanced options I see it in the list of applications. At one point, I removed my directory of the application by accident and then recreated it. I suspect that this may be the cause, but I don't know what to do about this. I tried to do a restore, but that did not help. Any ideas?

OK, here's how I solved this if anyone is interested.

I took out the battery, removed my memory card, then re - insert the battery.

All the apps I had installed then appeared in the applications folder.

I have them left this file re-installed the memory card, then returned to it.

Seems a little funky, but it worked so I'm cool with that.

Thanks for the reply btw...

On the right, there is no way to increase this limit. You can only choose from these 3 choices in the display media options.

  • BlackBerry 8310 Smartphone of Smartphones (BB has been DEAD for upgrading applications that use the Device Manager)

Hello, recently I wanted to install an application but got an error message saying AJAX is not supported on your platform - after checking the forums on this site, I found that I need to upgrade to 4.5.X and for that I downloaded from this site the "8310M_PBr4.5.0_rel52_PL2.7.0.55_A4.5.0.37 [1].

When I connect the device to the computer, I got the message from device manager asking if I want to upgrade applications to current version,

I did it-but suddenly during the upgrade process, my blackberry is turned off and since impossible to turn it on again, it looks like my smart phone is completely dead! There's just a red light on the top flashing...

That's all just amazing, because I have no idea why this happened because I used this official site and Device Manager was the one I downloaded from this site for 8310 Smartphone

Now here are the pictures that she took with the phone, and I put a sd card, but couldn't understand how to transfer these pictures. from the phone to the card! In addition, there are some pictures of my friends on the map, and it seems that somewhere they had transferred to the phone, I know because when I removed the card and put it in my laptop, they were gone! but they are on the phone. I installed the latest version of Blackberry Desktop that has the makings of media, as well as the USB Blackberry driver. Can I use this software to get these pictures from the Blackberry to my laptop?

    Thank you

As soon as you open the BB Desktop Manager, you will see the Media Manager. If you have not used before, it will have you set up Roxio to manage all media for your BB.

I don't him have not used it myself, but I've played with him and it seemed pretty easy to use.

When in doubt, read the 'Help' section in the Media Manager, it should tell you how to do it.

  • Where to find Revel after installation?

I installed Revel, but where I can find it in my computer?

If you use one of our applications on iOS, Mac, Win8 or Android, it will install on your device and you will see an icon to start when you want to use. If you use our web version at adoberevel.com, there is not a facility, you have just to connect from a web browser whenever you want to use.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can find any BB Applications

I downloaded Podcast BB and BB Protect successfully. However, I can't find either application on my device. BB App World has even updated both applications but I can't find icons for either and not any other way to start them. Ideas?

    I have a BB Torch 9810 v7.0.0.261 running

Yes, it is unfortunate that the BlackBerry is not compatible with BES right now.  With respect to the application of Podcasts, try the Media folder on your home screen.

    I hope that helps you.

Hi and welcome to the forums,

I'm sorry to say that it is gone. BlackBerry does not have this service.

You can call the carrier and give them the PIN and tell them that it is stolen.

This is info after the fact, but you can try the attached program for your

  • BlackBerry 8310 Smartphones: Impossible to reinstall the applications.

    Hello

I was the proud owner of a BB 8310 for 10 days and am now the proud owner of a useless piece of modern art...

Everything was fine until I connected on the BB site and tried to update the software.

First, I downloaded the latest version of the Desktop software, then connected my phone to my computer and started the process of updating. Everything was fine so I went to the legendary coffee and when I came back found a message telling me that the connection was lost, I want to try again? Yes of course. And then everything started going downhill.

Received the error app 200, the hourglass for hours.

So to make a long story short, I tried to reload everything using the trick where you connect the BB without the battery. Well, he works to the charge process request where the Red led goes and I get the message that the connection has been lost. Try again? Yes. Wait he reconnects (hourglass goes round and round), reconnected... re - unplug and restart to load the applications.

I noticed that the disconnection does not occur during the loading of any specific application but more or less randomly.

OK, so after several attempts I cancelled the process and got this error message: fatal error, unspecified error [J:0 x 00000005]

I tried on a PC with Windows 7 with Windows XP and even on a Mac.

    Still with me?

Well, someone has an idea of what's going on? Y at - it a bug in my phone in the desktop application or downloaded applications?

    Beats me.

    Thank you

    Jean-Luc

You will need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and then load the operating system on the device. Follow the instructions here:

If JL_Cmder does not work, follow this instruction:

    Thanks for the answers 1000

In my quest to find answers, I came across this thread on blackberry forums. So if anyone has never struggles or is faced with this type of questions, your prayers is answered.

    http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-BlackBerry-discussion/92324-no-BlackBerry-Messenger-your-OS-...

Until the OS 4.2 Blackberry Messenger application is an optional download. Simply, you went to the website of your BB Blackberry and downloaded. However, beginning with the 4.2 OS, RIM has decided to consolidate demand in the standard operating system package and it preinstall with each device. If for any reason the version gets removed from the Blackberry site download will not work. The app will install but will not be displayed on the device. Here are the instructions complete to properly install/reinstall BBMessenger to your device if you've never used the Application loader in the front Office Manager.

    Handheld OS 4.1 and below:
If your device is running OS 4.1 and then simply download BBMessenger version 1.0.94 OTA to www.blackberry.com/messenger

    Handheld OS 4.2 and above:

The download above on the Blackberry site is not compatible with handhelds running OS 4.2 and above. The Blackberry Messenger application is already installed with the operating system and should already be on your device.

However, if the application is removed for any reason any and you need to reinstall BBMessenger on your 4.2 device, follow the instructions below. If you try to download and install the OTA version to 4.2 Pocket PC it will install ok but will not display an icon anywhere on the device. However, it will be displayed in the list of applications in Options > Advanced Options.

Note: before you begin, if you have already downloaded the OTA version and cannot find it on your 4.2 device then uninstall this version by going to Options > Advanced Options > Applications and remove Blackberry Messenger v1.0.94.

    BBMessenger installation for the 4.2:

    1. determine your specific version of the OS by looking into Options > topic.

    2. download and install the latest Desktop Manager 4.2 to here.

    3. go into your carrier OS upgrade site and download and install the matching version of the operating system on your PC. Operating system upgrade sites are here. Note: If you have already installed the OS or the bones of another carrier to your PC then of course, you can skip this step. If a more recent OS is listed then continue with these instructions and you will get a new updated operating system upgraded at the same time. If you just install the BBMessenger and not do an upgrade only takes a few moments. However, the complete upgrade process can take up to an hour and will show a spinning hourglass on the device up to 20 minutes at a time during the process. Do not get impatient and unplug the unit until it has done during an upgrade of the OS.

4 plug in the appliance and open the Desktop Manager. Run the Application Loader. You should see a list of applications installed with checkboxes next to them. Check the box "Blackberry Messenger". Then just press Next, finish, etc. to load the application on the Blackberry.

When you are finished you should have successfully reinstalled Blackberry Messenger on your device. Generally, it appears on the home screen or in the Applications folder. BBM' happy ing.

    It worked 100%

Just to add (when upgrading your operating system), there is no need to download a newer version of the Desktop Manager, because you will only use it to make a backup of your phone. Before doing the backup, delete applications "disappeared".

How to upgrade the operating system on my BlackBerry?

1 remove the older operating system to your PC by going to control panel > add/remove programs.

    2. download and install the new version of the operating system.

    3. install the new operating system to the computer by running (double click) the downloaded file .

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

    5. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

    And voila

    All missing applications will appear

I am trying to add a language to a 8310. When I run the application loader, I can not get the list of the Basic applications to blackberry, which usually appears and allows you to choose additional languages. All I get is a list of additional applications, I installed (such as google maps). How can I get a list of the original blackberry applications to update?

I took the opportunity to upgrade to 4.5 and I added the (Hebrew) language during installation. Thank you!
