  I downloaded the new facebook application for Blackberry. He created a FACEBOOK CALENDAR on my blackberry.  So now, I have a calendar under my work email, facebook and my personal hotmail.

  Facebook events have been added to the FACEBOOK calendar but when I sync my blackberry with Outlook only items under the work email address are syncronised with Outlook. I would like to synchronize the calendar entries facebook and my work with my Outlook calendar calendar entries.

  I tried to search similar questions others maybe, but did not find this particular problem.

  Yes I saw the part on the implementation of the facebook calendar. It doesn't give me an option to choose my default calendar, just went ahead and created his own little calendar of Facebook. Very confusing. I don't think he can do what I need it to do and will just have to keep an eye on the next update and see if it solves the problem. I read all the articles refered you too so thank you for that.

  I have an old calendar that has been on my BB9000 when I used the "device switch Wizard" I would like to delete.  I also schedule I synchronize with my desktop I want to keep.  Whenever I open the calendar on the BB, it shows the two calendars... and I want to just remove the other.

  You can change the calendars in Options > Advanced > default of services.

  And you can clearly fill a calendar database according to the instructions that I post here:

  If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

  1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

  2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

  3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. The left pane, it is what will be saved from your device, and the right is a list of the existing databases.

  3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

  4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

  5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

• BlackBerry Bold 9900 of the Smartphone Blackberry Desktop Software - impossible to synchronize the calendar

  I can't update my Blackberry 9900 calendar when using BB desktop software.

  A sync error"the following recurring event could not be synchronized 09/27/2012 [Event].  Remove the event and the synchronization again.

  However, when I look in my Outlook calendar and on my Blackberry itself, I don't have a calendar for that date listed event.

  How can I fix this problem and start having my phone synch again.

  The add-on Regis can be interesting to look at. TB, it allows you to run the lightning calendar in a separate window, so you can close or minimize the window of primary e-mail TB. If it is installed in SeaMonkey, it seems that you can launch the calendar itself when you run SM.

• Emails coming in ONLY open.

  What emails opening in 'Windows Mail' (Vista), start the last 3 weeks, emails will arrive only open, or "read". There is a potential danger in what I believe, that nothing will, for junk mail, in this way, and I could get harmful emails as well. (Potential hazards usually go to spam)  I'm not 'smart' with computers, I don't have much experience, but I stayed in the options above the mails and changed to "not read, or not open." Yet, no help.  I had 2 others look at it and cannot find the problem.  Thanks for help.

  This can occur if there are rules defined in Windows mail. You can check if the rules are created in Windows mail to show the new mail received as a message read.

  To check the rules in Windows Mail, follow these steps:

  1 OpenWindows Mail by clicking on the button Start , allprograms, and then clicking Windows Mail.

  2. click on the menu Tools , point to Rules of Message, and then click surCourrier.

  3. If you have a rule set, select it and click the button to Mconstruction .

  4. under Select the Conditions for your rule, select all the messages.

  5. under Select the Actions for your rule , make sure that mark it as read is unchecked.

  You can also close Windows mail and try to access your email using Internet Explorer and check to see if it presents as read message and post back the result.
