  I bought an adapter for my headphones to listen to music on my 8830, but it plays only on one side.  I tried different adapters, headphones, and same 8830.  I do not have a headset with my 8830.  What is the solution?

  For several months, I've used my 8830 with a bunch of songs loaded and does not make changes to the content of the media. A few months, that I've updated the fw to Bell Mobility version 4.2.2.196 and yesterday I bought a new card 4 GB MicroSD. After the insertion of the new card, I noticed that the songs that were on the old card (2 GB) were still on the list, but not surprisingly were inaccessible via the RIM Media Player. It seems that an index of songs is lingering somewhere in the flash of the phone itself and no matter what I try to do with Roxio media, media sync, MS Win Media Player, I can't get rid of this index and rebuild it. For the moment is not synchronized. Any ideas?

  Tried to update software 8830 by suggestion Tech Verizon store... after a time of mucho, failed install message without options.  The phone is now dead in the water with the small box on a white screen symbol... Phone PIN is no longer recognized when plugged to the computer USB.  Help!

  Solved by Verizon store replacing the phone with the new model "renovated"... we'll see what happens the next time!

  installed 8830 2 giga Scandisk memory card.  V4.3.0.17 DTM does not list media Mgr.  Support of BB site says to get rid of all the Roxio files on computer - some are embeddable in ESSILOR.  So have not affected them.  According to the list of programs, I don't have any Roxio on PC program.  Other questions on the Support site says that I should download the correct version of the DTM in the 4.2 series - it would be a big step backwards.  What is a girl to do?  BB does not seem to recognize the card media-says nothing is there to get the multimedia card.  Not irritable person, so please talk down to me.  TIA

  I changed the theme on my BB 8830, but now whenever I click on the Options menu, it freezes and I have to type the end in order to be able to do anything.  It seems that other applications will be open, but the Options will not be so I can't change the theme of return.  I tried turning off and on again, but which did not help.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
