BlackBerry 9900 Smartphone wifi Advisor

My wifi shows my "saved" network It shows a green wifi sign and a lock. As soon as I try to connect, I get the message "unable to authenticate to the network. Handset is a 9900. I am trying to connect to the voice of bbm. Please notify. Thanx

The usual troubleshooting techniques are to restart your Wi - Fi router then delete your saved home Wi - Fi network on your phone then re-add.

Try and let us know if you succeed in the connection.

  • Battery blackBerry 9900 Smartphones worsens to 50% after upgrade of 2406

My battery life Bold 9900 worsened considerably after the recent OS 7.0 Bundle 2406 set to level. I had previously struggled to spend the day on a battery, but in general, I could do it for a day and business general use of electronic mail, of limited calls and not Web browsing. Now, after the recent 2406 upgrade, I get only about 50% as much battery life. In addition, the black box of the small Center with white rotating second hand is now a function that comes back regularly throughout the day, and I had to remove my battery to restart my BlackBerry much more often. I've since removed all applications, cut back on all the other battery draining features (screen brightness, wifi, Bluetooth, gps, etc), moved to 2G to extend my battery life. I was already unhappy with the bad battery BlackBerry Bold 9900 life, but after this last update, it is unacceptable for a professional use when it only works for 1/2 day. I hope it's a question of battery RIM known for Bold 9900 that is processed quickly. Otherwise, I am one of the many who will have to move to a more acceptable solution for phone smart business in a perspective of battery life. Thank you.

Well, I have implemented battery BlackBerry 9900 technical of economy in this forum, and to my surprise, he solved all much more than I expected. My last load battery Bold 9900 lasted 6 days/86 hours (compared to less than 1/2 day) during normal use of business and weekend for the phone calls, emails, texts and the bbm, exclusion using the internet or applications. I moved 2 G + 3 g to 2G only, off all the apps (especially GPS, Google sync and social networks), turned down the brightness of my screen and shorten the waiting time, calendar, disabled wifi and bluetooth, etc. Thanks for all the comments in the forum. They worked. Now I will be slowly adding some applications and using 3 G on the internet once again, and I will more closely control my battery drain in the future.

These 'Inbox management' selections are exclusions... What is available for you to select/deselect are things that are eligible to be included or excluded from the main folder of Messages, and so excluded and then a separate icon for these items is created for you. Everything else is not eligible for selection and, therefore, cannot be excluded from the main folder Messages (at least not by this selection). So, if your FB notifications are not displayed, then this is probably a setting in the application options FB itself that is the culprit. Similar to phone notifications - you select whether to include these messages via phone options selections, not the Messages options selections. But you cannot select, via the Inbox management, create a separate icon for the app from your phone notifications.

I have no idea what has been broken before, but it is logical to assume that, as 'unlimited', it really cannot be a "forever". Memory space is finite, so these things are more conceptual rather than actual. If you select, for example, 30 days, then only the last 30 days will display. But, all the ("forever" and "30 Giorni") are subject to the finiteness of the memory available for storage and will be affected by that if it applies.

Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone

Here's a knockout who explains. I should clarify, however. Deletions are synchronized on the platforms listed e-mail but he does not usually move mail deleted in a deleted messages folder. He simply deletes the. It has been like this for a long time on BIS. The new platform BB10 this now.

  • BlackBerry 9900 Smartphones do not receive emails

I use my 9900 to the Japan and found that he has ceased to receive emails.  On previous visits he worked well and was OK for the first few days here.  Service status when e-mail works says:

    BlackBerry Internet Service: Mobile network

    Now shows not connected.

The first time it happened, remove the battery several times did not help, but she came back a day later on its own.

Next time (1 week later) I had the problem I did a full restore using the Blackberry Desktop Software since before I arrived at the Japan and that fixed the problem up until this morning.   Now neither full restore or remove the battery support.

If anyone can shed some light, I would be very grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

Back in the United Kingdom and the same problem.  Spoke with my account provider and the deleted and then restored the email accounts on their system and all accouunts on the phone are now receiving mail, so it seems that it was a problem of system with my provider here (EE).  They were more on the ball than usual.

Thank you for taking the time to answer.

  • Frustrated with the bold blackBerry 9900 smartphones and BlackBerry® E-mail

I just bought a Bold 9900 and had my old BB dumped on my new "BOLD". However, I knew that I would have to set up ALL my email all accounts again. But I am a positive type of gal so I started to redo the settings. However my frustration hit the wall when I tried to set up my OLD blackberry e-mail address on the new "BOLD". When I type in my old address the message says: "the username is not valid. A username must begin with a letter or a number. It can contain letters, numbers, underscores, dashes, and period characters. "So it seems that my email address can be ANYTHING that I want that it either, which is just MY OLD BB email address (for reasons of continuity evident with established contracts) andmy old E-mail begins with a LETTER!

My other emails were put in place, but the blackberry e-mail makes me mental. Anyone? Help, please?

Happened to me also (Bell 9900) I called the bell customer service and they reset my e-mail account of bb in about 5 minutes.

  • Question of blackBerry 8520 smartphone wifi

    Hi all

This is my first post here, and I want to know something I'm not aware of and that worries me.

With a BB 8520 curve, I can browse the Internet without a data plan and without charge?

If I do not disconnect the normal gsm / gprs network and I navigate using the Explorer will I be charged?

If I understand any application coming from RIM will need a data plan or otherwise I will be charged to use it (even if it works).

    Thank you in advance!

Yes, with Wifi in use and no. BlackBerry Data plan, you can download things and use the WiFi browser if you want, no problem.

But you don't use mail features electronic push RIM, like many other BlackBerry data services such as internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

So, if what you have is all you need... Enjoy!

  • BlackBerry 9900 smartphones just died,

    Hello world

I'll be back College today, my 9900 bold bb, (one and a half years),

He was dead, no sign of live, no screen. don't recharge the light and will not respond to something.

No contamination of the water, no accident, no nothing, battery Exchange, load

ideas please, b4 I have through it in the trash.

    Hello!

Sorry for the delay - I attended BBLive this week and just not had the time to display. Now of course, it will probably take me several days just to catch up!

It is really impossible to diagnose hardware issues in distance-internet. Given what report you, we can deduce that it is probably a hardware problem, but what is the point and what it will take to fix it is simply impossible to provide a distance from the internet. Only a qualified technician, with the device by hand, can give a correct evaluation and estimate. So, I recommend that you find a local store (to you) with a qualified material BB technician to take a look.

If you stay within your warranty period, you would be sure first of all that the channel.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry 9900 Smartphones do not scroll in applications

My 9900 scrolls very well until I'm in any application, then it does not scroll. Everything else seems to work very well. Really not sure how to fix this problem.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry 9900 Smartphones is "impossible to connect to bberry account id"... can't get through this screen

Come to tmobile to Vodafone naturally number overall, since 16:00 todat number active but unable to use the phone as cannot cross the message above... Voda told 3 different responses on many calls...

    1. be patient may take 48 hours for network configure you etc...

    2. .. need to create an account to send online...

    3. .. ring of software error RIM to solve!

New phone from Phone4U! I don't understand, it's just because of the network do not configure all functions or is it software problems? She went to the screen at a given time, but now cannot cross Bberry ID log in page... ??? Heellpppp

The reason for this error is that the BB Id was still linked to my old phone. I had to completely clean the phone, using the option that appears on the blue screen and invent a new bb ID, he then worked and its fine.

Since that phones are fantastic and I cannot fault it. Hower I fault the shop not to say me to create a new ID on purrchase and avoid all the stress.
