  I have the blackberry curve smartphone lilac, and recently a little symbol "appeared" at the top of the screen, in the same place as the "new message", "new email address" etc. icons are displayed.

  It is a white circle with a white arrow pointing South West and black in the middle of the circle and a small red star on the top right of the icon, the same that appears in the top right...

  Smartphone (3G, WiFi)

  7.1 bundle 1133 (v7.1.0.336, platform 9.6.0.51)

  I got a Blackberry Curve 9360 during about 3 weeks now and until a few days ago had no problems wih it. The problem is with applications such as Blackberry App World, BBM and Facebook. When I try and BB app world it says open "finds it difficult to connect to the server Blackberry App World. Check your network connections, and then try again. "On Facebook, he said"we cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later. (100)' and when I try and send a BBM it has a red X next to him immediately. Oh and I am also no longer receive emails. Yet, I can browse my internet no problem with or without Wi - fi. How can I fix? Thanks in advance

  Managed to sort, rung by virgin and they said that my blackberry services were "inactive" not sure how it happened, but there you go. Thanks for your concern.

  The padlock icon shows your BlackBerry is required by the employer of your employer BES IT policy to have a password.

  in any case, after the update of the software, none of my information was on the device. I went to restore my device successfully. However, none of my notes have been restored!   This is not a pdf file. Its a .ipd file. Make sure that your computer is set to 'show extensions of known file types '. You can google for the instructions step by step to do. If its an ipd extension but the pc isshowing who his a dobe of the file, you need to change the file association for the .ipd files.

  When you do a selective restore of this ipd file it should show you the number of database entries is in the Memo database. If your notes are not in there, then there is nothing anyone can do. I suggest make you backups more often and/or synchronize with Outlook to avoid additional data loss.

  Hi, I just got my BlackBerry Curve yesterday and have two questions that left me mouth gaping so far.

  (1) my menu has no icon "Settings and tools", I tried the option "Show all", still not there. How to do it?

  (2) I have retrieve email on my PC for the most and that you want to turn off the blinking red light because I get lots of emails and the light is constantly flashing and boring.

  6. Select the application you want to change the tone / in this case, notification Messages, or your specific e-mail address

  7. you can now edit the tones of the case and Holster / notifications.
  (a) select between: none, Tone, vibrate, vibrate + tone
  (b) select the range that you want to use
  (c) Select Volume (the options are mute, low, medium, high, climbing)
  (d) to select the number of beeps (the options are 1, 2, 3)
  (e) select Repeat Notification (options are None, flashing LED)
  (f) if value vibrator or vibrate + tone and select number of Vibrations (the options are 1, 2, 3)

  You can do two ways.

  1. First is a prerequisite to delete - select the date, the menu and choose Delete before. This will remove all messages before and including the selected date.
  2. Or if you just want to delete a block of messages, just hold down the SHIFT key (lower left/right keys), and select messages, view the menu and choose Delete Messages

  To send to more than one person, after choosing the first person, the menu and choose Add a recipient
