BlackBerry Bold 9900 - touchscreen smartphones does not not or answer

Hi, I face the same problem on my 9900 5 days old. The screen touch everything just stopped working on day 2 & it has developed since then.

I tried the following to correct the problem, but without success:

1 cold Reboot (battery Pull when the device is powered)

2. simple reboot (battery Pull when the device is OFF)

3 remove the battery then, SIM & SD card plug battery and then pull it again & everything put in

None of them have worked, my version of the OS is v7.0.0.261 Bundle 1346 platform 5.0.0.464 should update my phone software? Whenever I try to check for an upgrade it says that you have the latest being.

Return the appliance to the store and warranty claim. You can try to update/reinstall OS device. But I think that a 5 day old device should not produce this program.

    1. remove the battery and the Sim Card

    2. replace the battery only in the phone and restart the phone (once you restart the touch screen should start to work)

    3. turn off the phone, take the dough back, put the SIM and battery back in and power on and you should be good to go

    In recent months, I've tested my BB 9900 firewall. I configured to only through messages that are in my contact list.

    I also have my mailboxes configured so you can see the messages that I send.

    Everything has been very well these past few months, until a few days ago when all my messages in all my mailboxes have disappeared. I know that my BB is receive messages because I tried sending to and from my BB. When I click on the icon of the message for new messages indicator, you will receive the message, but when I close the box mailbox is blank, displays the message "No. Messages".

    The only thing that I can do differently is cutting my BB Protect backup process because I was in an area where there was a very poor mobile network connection

    Fixed a problem. I removed the battery and restarted the machine and was able to restore messages that had disappeared.

    The only thing I think would be physically unplug the cable, however, the device does not work properly because there was not enough load on the circuit, and some components would not work correctly I believe because I broke a BB bolding 9930 keyboard flex cable and the device got so hot and closed off the coast until I changed the keyboard. I think the 99xx is designed to be perfectly balanced wise tension and no component could not be disconnected because of this.

    Sorry if this has been requested may already, see booster signal UMA on the 9900 specs, I was wondering if this is a feature included as I intend to do next week when my upgrade is due on my contract. Also while I am here I noticed none of the UK suppliers do the 9930, is there a particular reason for this, and much of a difference does make? I noticed that the 9930 is what is considered a 'phone' and is not the 9900, which does not imply that the 9930 will get a carrier signal in more countries than the 9900?

    The only difference in the 9900 and 9930 is the 9930 includes bands of CDMA network that make it usable on carriers like Verizon in the United States.

    I just bought a Blackberry Bold 9700 with bell, (OS v5.0.0.432), and I try to use the headphones provided with the blackberry.

    The problem I have is that when I press the button on the helmet, I expect to start the voice dialing application, but the button does nothing!

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 Simulator download is not complete

    Try to get the Bold 9900 Simulator to download and to near 60megs it ends. It is supposed to be more than double that size. Run the downloaded file confirms that it is incomplete; the EXE file does not work and returns an error from media incomplete / damaged. I tried three times on different browsers and get the same result.

    Don't know how to reach the attention of blackberry.

    Hello! I have a bold 9700, which is a month old. Today, I downloaded "Mr number Block" through bb applications. After that, I did a hard reset on my device. The device seems to be stuck after the start initial screen, black color with a status bar (in white). It then progresses to a white screen with written in blue in the center of Blackberry. Nothing happens after that even after waiting 2-3 hours. I tried to do a hard reset (by removing the battery), but the unit does not start. I tried with the sim card inserted in the device as well as the SIM out, but nothing happens. Help, please.

    problem solved! I had to reload the OS. The error, I commit a connect the BB after launching the application loader. This time, I kept the phone connected via a USB cable and then launched the application loader. Everything goes well thru. Once the OS has been loaded, I had to restore it from a backup. Also now I install third-party applications one by one!

    I bought a Blackberry Storm 2 9950 of Verizone the United States 16 months ago and after two months I went to live in the Mexico. I got my unlocked BB and I used services Movistar with any problems until two months ago that I started facing problems for you to connect.

    I went to check this with Movistar carrier here at the Mexico, but support guys told me that it is a device of another company that they can help with configuration problems, or does not endorse her. He suggested me to throw it in the trash and buy another of his company.

    I think there could be a solution for this, I tried configuring it by my self audit as much as I could to support blogs.

    I got my Blackberry Storm 2 work back Friday last 13 overnight. I don't really know what had happened or who I have to thank for this one. But I'm happy to have my camera works again.

    My battery was competely discharged over the weekend, and I got my 8900 connected with the USB charger since 10:00 (EST) this morning. The unit will not turn on again... All I see is the RED LED turned on.

    Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

    If it does not start - try using a wall charger if you're not. If you are connected via USB to the computer, make sure that you have Desktop Manager (or USB device drivers), you can download it below.

    Make sure that your USB cable is connected to one of the main rear USB ports of the PC. A USB hub, or USB Monitor port not a USB port on the front of the PC.

    Please see this thread useful to start:

    If you have exhausted all your chances to enter the correct unlock code, is there nothing more, that you can do. Even if you happen to have the right code now, it is useless. Only the factory can now (legally) unlock your BB. In general, I've heard that the cost of having BlackBerry do this for you will be higher than the cost of just buying a new. But, you are able to ask them... see here:

    Note, however, that this process will begin with a tax...

    If you obtained your unlock code from somewhere, but it was incorrect, that your remedy could be with them - however, they may well wonder why you exhausted all 10 attempts before contacting them.

    If your BB was already locked MEP and you got it from a source that represents as that can be unlocked, then your recourse would be with the seller that you got it.

    I've had my blackberry "BOLD" for about 8 weeks now. I went shopping yesterday and put my laptop in my bag in hand, he had a bumper case. When I went to take my phone out of my bag in hand to use, the screen was cracked. Its still in full working condition and did not have any other brand on it.  I don't think it should have happened after 8 weeks to have and I don't think it's irrational or foolhardy to put a cell phone in a bag in hand, so im thinking that it may be due a fault in the screen. his o2 of ith on contract and do not know what to do with nxt. It will still be under warranty?

    You should be able to drag and drop the voice notes using the file browser that's been added, right?

    Office has a voice note to import, but all must be visible in the display of files and if you drag them to your desktop, they must decipher.
