  My phone display "My Number: unknown Number" above the number display and I want to change my real number. "I tried the 'status' in the Menu which will then show my number: unknown" and the times of 'Last call' and 'calls altogether. • Display is Dim and the PC is slow way

  All of a sudden my tablet pc under Win XP Tablet Edition sp3 is weird.  The screen is dark about 25-50% when it is in the cradle. But the battery shows full charge. In addition, the pc seems to be very slow and there is also a problem for automatically connect you to my home wireless network. I need to go to the wireless networks that it is and do it manually to connect to my favorite home network that has always been done automatically. But it connects by manually.

  If I pull the Tablet up out of its cradle, the display lightens to normal brightness.

How can I make the blakcberry 9000 working with SDM on the Enterprise Server BES services?

  I had a contact with level 2 Support T-Mobile. They told me to download the latest firmware to the updatecenter of t-mobile (has not heard of so far), then install this software on a PC and install the MDS Runtime of this package to the devices.

  After the url of the download location, where I found the firmware:

  --> Installation for PC

  --> Start the Desktop Manager

  --> Connect Blackberry "BOLD"

  --> Install MDS DURATION & MDS default Launcher (V 4.6.0.13)

  --> Restart device

  You're good...

  The "BOLD" today BBlackberry is a device registered and within seconds all of our MDS applications when pushed to the device and work perfectly.

• BlackBerry Z10 battery drains quickly and the phone gets hot

  I noticed that my Z10 become hot and the battery takes time to load, and when it is disconnected from the power, the battery drains quickly in less than 1 h.

  I think it said when I update the OS, but I'm not sure.

  Take your monitor to another computer and borrow the monitor from that computer to put on your.  That should quickly indicate if the monitor is bad or if there is a computer problem.  If you have two monitors are trying to exchange the first to the second and vice versa.

• Classic phone holder blackBerry SUCKS! Poor training and the call centre in the Philippines!

  I bought a classic there is about 1 1/2 weeks and had not yet found the user guide. I called their phone support several times with simple questions and most of the time, they could not answer questions or gave me completely false answers. For example, I didn't know how to access the FM radio function and support BB told me to contact the carrier to bring them to market. I knew that the answer was wrong and once I found and read the guide to the user discovered how access FM radio. My point is that these representatives have a knowledge on the classic. They are located in the Philippines and their English skills are limited and it is difficult to communicate with them. If anyone has had this experience and anyone could explain why the BB spend the resources necessary to make these fine products and then skimp not big time on the customer support? And please do not hire someone who has lived in the United States or Canada for a short period of time and has recently learned to speak English.

  That support number is added to the support you get from your provider. The way it is supposed to work is that att with your phone number. Either they don't solve your problem, or that they degenerate to BlackBerry supported which is the same as the paid support, but if they skyrocket you, you do not pay anything. The problem is that carriers are too lazy to do the climbing when / if necessary.

  Hi, forst time poster and beginner, so please be nice!

  I got a Z10 for three months and today, I could not turn it on and light flashes 1-3-1 sequence.  I plugged on Blackberry link to perform a restore, and I now get an error on Blackberry link code: cannot repair because of the error: BDSLSV2RequestURL.  Any thoughts?  My carrier wants to remove it for repair, but if I can fix it, I would be happier.

• BlackBerry 5 - image with text and the background transparent resizing

  My application consists of a series of images stacked on each other. Some are transparent, some are not. I use images high resolution and resize them based on the width of the screen of the blackberry that runs the application.

  I'm having some trouble resizing of images with text on a transparent background. The resulting image is not of all anti-aliasing. This is the code I use to do:

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9930 update failed and the software does not load

  I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 and yesterdasy I received a msg saying to upgrade to 7.x software Blackberry. I followed the instructions (takes too long like 2 hours to download) and then. Big mistake because it cooked my phone. It seems that when you upgrade, the upgrade process goes thru, but stops after the time zone to restore the process and reports an error 602 with a reset button to reset your database. The reset button does not work and I restarted the phone to restore the db. At the moment that it restarts, launched the process, and even once, it failed after the msg indicating time zones (100% and overall restoration treatment 7%). Zones roughly completed, but then I got a msg saying I wandered 602 belive. On all courses was about 5 to 10 percent. Now my phone is undesirable because it does not restart. Verizon says they have a large number of phones across the country, but BlackBerry says it's a matter of Verizon...  Someone at - he already heard of this I am now without such a 4 days while I get a replacement Friday because of the holiday...  I am not very happy as another question, I found - during the upgrade process it used the cells instead of my wirelss home network to download the software and it really took about 2 to 3 hours, then another hour before it failed during the upgrade process. So about. 3 to 4 hours to play with an upgrade yesterday.

  But you can still use Desktop Software for the update process, personally, I prefer never to do an Over the Air update. I think that something has gone wrong with the update process and thus you encounter this error 602.

  You have a backup of your device, or using BlackBerry protect for the backup?

  If you wish you can try several method to recover your device of this error, all you need is a PC and an Internet connection active. But attention, this method deletes the data user in this device. This is the Knowledge Base to follow:

  I'm new to Blackberry, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. I read that OS 6.0 will be out soon. I will be able to load it on my Bold 9700 from T-Mobile?   No one yet can answer these questions.

  My "thinking" is that OS 6.0 will be released first on new devices. If it is the result of past experiences, you will see probably available for some of the most recent (like the 9700 devices), at some point, but no one doesn't know, and those that do, are not certainly say.

  So... my recommendation: check back around here at beginning-middle of the summer.
