• Bb user new blackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphones help with installation of the Email

  I can't understand this. "I have a new 8330 and when I go into the configuration Email options I have 2 options: I want to use a professional email with Blackberry Enterprise Server account" and I want to ignore the e-mail configuration. Shouldn't there be an option to configure an existing e-mail account? I want my Outlook of Comcast.net email to pass on to my BB, but can't seem to find a way to do it. I have setup a BIS account which seems to be configured correctly. I use Desktop manager 4.6 and Outlook 2007 HELPPpp please... It seems there is no option in Fund Manager to implement.   To configure your email go to your phone via the Blackberry Internet Service, there are really only two options: 1) the installer of your phone; or (2) the installer through the website of your mobile phone service provider.  From your phone, search for "Setting up Internet E-Mail" icon, select and it will take you through the steps until the establishment of consumer email.  If you don't see this icon, go to main Menu > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table, press the menu key to the left of your trackball and select "register now".  Pull your battery, wait a few seconds and pop and then reconnecting, which should automatically start the phone.  If the icon is not there, contact your mobile phone service provider, because it cannot be fully implemented in their system yet.

  If you try to set up the email on the Blackberry Desktop Manager and you see an 'E-mail settings' icon, and then you installed the BES, not the version BIS of the BB Desktop Manager and you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software.  The key is to choose the second option, the installation options that is for BRI.

  Hello the BB community, I am new here and I just wanted to correct a problem with my blackberry.

  Well when I started to connect my blackberry to load (I have a usb to wall adapter charger), the battery percentage would not rise. Thus, after removing the battery and put it in the creeped out slowly on its way to 80% battery power and no more would go high, no matter how long I left it to charge.  Same problem when I tried to charge it via the USB port connected to a PC.

  To try to solve my problem, I bought a new battery.  At first I thought it was the solution because the battery has been charging at a normal speed and don't punish me out constantly.  However, even once, I noticed that, after a night of load, the power would NOT higher than 80%.

  I tried all tricks, even reset my blackberry and re-installed the software. However nothing will leave power rise above 80%...

  Help, please!

• BlackBerry Curve 8300 Smartphones - various defects

  I have a Curve 8300 Smartphone, there are several flaws with this device they are;

  When you turn on the hold switch, that the unit will not charge, it produces just a static white screen at every opportunity. I have to restart it by simultaneously pressing the alt-right shift and delete keys it produces a green screen with a hourglass distorted.

  When the device is rebooted which takes about 2-3 minutes, I have a green and yellow tint to the screen with the selection of icons that are available be used. However when using the trackball to select a blue icon bars displayed on the screen with a duplicate of the icon I have chosen.

  I would check the sticker. You might just have a bad device if the screen keeps it.

  I use a Blackberry curve 8520 on tesco mobile, ive got a PIN blackberry etc, but I'm not sure if BBM works because of these automatic settings, I did not implement an email but because of something on the enterprise activation and it won't let me activate it because I do not have a server enterprise email or password.

  I have the latest version of the Desktop software installed and when it starts it ask me to update my OS 7.1

  You can upgrade to 4.7 WITHOUT Media Manager.  Some people have problems with the MM.  It's also a great Setup and it is easier to use the drag-and - drop in windows Explorer with the lit on your BB mass storage mode.

  Personally, I use DTM 4.6 without MM and have no problem.
