BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphones: Blackberry internet services are blocked

I bought the curve 8310 unlocked phone, first week I am able to use internet services, but the 2nd week internet services are blocked, I contacted the service provide they said "this phone suspended by RIM" and has blocked my PIN code but they said IMEI number and PIN codes are valid. The salesman says this valid phone which is unlocked. My phone numbers IMEI and PIN code are

IMEI: #.
PIN: #.
Please let us know the problem and the possible solution.

EDIT: Remove personal information

Hello and welcome to the Forums!

FYI - these forums are a chain of support to users, not a conduct of user-to-RIM. Frontline for BB is, contractually, not provided by RIM. Companies and authorized resellers are responsible for the front line of official support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and request direct assistance from the RIM, but this generates costs, since you are without your support contract with your carrier. The "Support & Services" tab to the top of the forum pages provide information on this subject. But, if you go through your carrier for support, they can degenerate into RIM without cost to you if they choose to.

So, with all this, your line must stay with your carrier, so that they can worsen your case for you and find the answers you want without incurring costs to do. Don't forget to worsen after their initial support and up to their people to support BB... they generally have the best information that people from the front line.

Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Internet Service and Blackberry Enterprise server: not connected

    Hello!

I am currently a user of the Blackberry Curve 8520 and my carrier is FONIC Germany. After trying a few applications, such as the blackberry Messenger or blackberry app World and my email accounts, I discovered that none of them have worked, although the internet explore normal worked as usual.

After doing some research, I spotted the problem:

    BlackBerry Internet Service: not connected

    BlackBerry Enterprise Server: not connected

After calling my provider, they told me that they are unable to connect to the Blackberry Internet Service... They had really no idea what I was talking!

Is there anyway that I can connect my Blackberry to the service without the intercession of my career?

    Thanks in advance!

The service is provided by your operator, then Yes, the only way to activate your blackberry completely is to change carriers.

My email has been hacked so I put a new password and added security.  It's all good.  But the e-mail messages are not delivered to my blackberry until I have validate the new password on BlackBerry Internet Service.  I can't access the Internet Service of BlackBerry - on my device, under settings, email accounts, Internet e-mail, he asked my user name and password.  I can't find that neither can I find a way to create one - I tried searching the BlackBerry site and my site provider of wireless (AT & T), but in vain.  Help!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not able to put up my work on Blackberry Internet Service email accounts

The week last Blackberry internet service sent me the following message is displayed:

    Action required: update password!

Update the password for [email protected] in the Blackberry Internet Service!  The e-mail messages are not delivered to your BlackBerry.  To resume receiving messages email to this email address, update the password in the Blackberry Internet Service.

The thing is that my password for this e-mail account has not changed, so I was confused as to why am I being asked to update.  I tried anyway.  I was unable to.  So I contacted my ISP technical support.  They suggested I remove entirely the BIS account and then add again.  I deleted the account and now I am unable to add.  When I try to add I get the following message:

    1. an error occurred during validation of the email account.  Please check your information and try again.

All the info, as I entered are correct.  Why is - BIS is no longer recognizing my email?

It seems that there is no resolution to my problem, but there are ways around it.  Thank you!

I recently spent to use the Blackberry Internet Service for Blackberry Redirector to my work email.  We use Exchange Server with Outlook 2003.  After a few days, I realized that redirector does not handle attachments.  So I, once more, uninstalled Blackberry Desktop and re-installed to use Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) my email.  BIS is working very well and I received my emails with their attachments.  BUT I keep getting these emails generated by the server who say:

I'm on Orange and I am trying to remove the signature when I send the email to my gmail account.

An earlier thread was really useful-

    R Man

I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to change the signature on my blackberry curve 8300.  I'm with Orange Business.  On my camera, it displays the option, but cannot be changed.  On my bill online orange it does not mention - in fact it is impossible to get information from blackberry.  Could someone help me?  I keep seeing references to the 'BIS' - which I suppose means Blackberry internet service - but this does not seem to help me?  This is a website / option on the phone / or what?  DRM for any help...

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You're BIS correct is the Blackberry Internet service.

If you go through the icon to setup e-mail on your phone, you will actually the site of the BIS.

If you can not change your signature through the device, you can connect to a PC Web site.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Internet Service account

    Hello world

Well, despite the try, this beginner could not get his BlackBerry has returned to the shop and returned to the use of his sad little nokia. I wanted to ask you one last small question before saying goodbye.

When I first set up my Blackberry, I created a Blackberry Internet service online account. For the life of me, I don't remember exactly why I did this, but in any case, I went to the login screen Blackberry Internet Service (in an attempt to remove the account now that I have returned my phone), but it doesn't recognize my username or my password. It's not a big deal, but I'm a tidy soul and wanted to delete the account. My question is this: I erased my Blackberry before returning and have subsequently changed the passwords for my email accounts: if I still have an account somewhere BIS, Blackberry, in theory, will always have a link to my email accounts? I hope not.

A special thanks to JSanders who helped me when I had problems.

    Now, bye

    Eve

    Hello

You did almost everything you need to clean things up. Change your real email passwords will prevent BIS to access these accounts, even if a BIS account should always exist. To actually eliminate the BIS account, you must contact the support by which you created it... carriers manage BIS accounts for their customers. See this KB for all steps will need to be made when you transfer a used BB:

    • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

As to why you first create an BIS account, see this FAQ:

The last account in the list is the BIS-level account... you have BIS to enable these services.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I put my emails using the device... can I now subscribe to the Blackberry Internet Service?

I created my account e-mail directly from the device itself, without ever registering an account with my service provider's Blackberry Internet Service. Now I want to apply a filter (to resolve the issue in duplicate of Gmail), and it seems that I have to do it online, rather than the device itself. If now, I hit 'create new account' more at blackberry.orange.co.uk and go through the registration process, which is likely to prevent the proper functioning of my existing installation? I have to start over? Thank you.

    Not hard, read this:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Verizon Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) Client - how to create a mail filter

Hello. Thank you in advance for the answer to my question. I am trying to create a mail filter so that the messages do not contact delivered to my BB and instead just go directly to my regular email account. I understand that you can do this function of the BIS, however when I tried to create an account, I received a message that says "Please use your device to access the BIS." I did everything as the message told me, but I don't have the same menu options of my BB that I had to do since internet. The page showed only a list of emails and a choice of 'Edit' and 'delete' for each of them. There was no "Filter" button for me to click. I remember some time ago I could access this page and was able to remove the signing of BB (i.e.. "This message is sent to a BB"), so I know that it was possible to access this page. I don't know why I am not able to access now.

If someone out there has Verizon and knows how to access the BIS, please let me know how. Or if you know how to create an e-mail filtering function, please let me know.

    Thank you

    Fred

    Hello!

To connect to your account BIS from a PC/browser (not the BB browser), go to this address:

Enter your BIS credentials and you will be in your BIS account screen. From there, use this KB to create the filter you want:

    • KB04558 Add a filter to a BlackBerry Internet Service account

  • BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphones cannot access services internet bb

Changed my password on my work email, but can not access services internet bb to change on my phone. When I try to connect, my user name is not recognized. I can access the internet service of bb online and changed my email password and password internet services there. But I'm stuck on my phone and e-mails from work is no longer to arrive.  Can anyone help?

Your BIS account is managed by your mobile service provider. They can reset if necessary.

If you get stuck trying to return the Service directories, there are several terms contained in points than KB... one of them being to communicate with your mobile service provider, which can push them out.

  • BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone: keys Glitching several

    Hello

Just got a phone Curve 8310 used (which is updated to the latest version of OS - 4.5.0.55) and after using it only for two days, I'm starting to meet small, but annoying glitches.

The first is (was) really no reason, several hit started acting as they should not: BlackBerry button, T, Y and a few others did not do what they are supposed to do--they acted as capital Y and after that as Yi combination of letters, which was resolved just out of battery for a few minutes and then put it back in.

The second is still there and it seems to be here to stay - every time when I write letters W, E, R, U, O, P, it saves correctly, but just after that automatically performs a pop-up that offers you to send or close the message. Every time I press the back button-, it does not have a return, but rather written "Hl" message, lol.

This happens as a composer of Message (SMS), both in the software WhatsApp (or anywhere else where I can write).

So, I was wondering - what could cause these terrible key overflows? I mean, I did something specific with it - yesterday wrote a few SMS, some WhatsApp messages and there is no such problems. Any experiences with the settings or software.

Would it be cold outside (now forrest.) For about 5-6 hours per day to about-5, temperature of-15 C) or who should not cause these problems? What can I do to get rid of these problems?

Sorry for the bad English - if something is not clear, I will try to explain better

Edit: after some time looking for the forums, I found this forum thread where some users have found that it could be the reaction of condensation in the phone. If this could be true - is there a way to prevent the phone from getting wet or pick up condensation inside?

As I suspected, the problem was with the condensate in the phone. Put and battery removed my phone on hot heater for about 15-20 minutes to dry out and now everything works fine.

Just letting you know that (at least Curve 8310) is not really like the winters of the Baltic and North - same - 10 c outside could possibly spoil things. So, be careful!

  • BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone: calendar (not installed)

Came back from vacation and I noticed that my curve cannot sync with my CRM because my calendar seems to be (not installed).

According to BB Desktop Software, on the tab of the Organizer, all other elements of the organiser are present with the exception of the calendar - which prevents the ability to sync with my CRM.

How to re-install the calendar on my Curve 8310.  It doesn't matter if my calendar data are wiped out, as this will be too written by my sync software.

    Thanks for your help!

    Herb...

For all 3 questions you were notified, one is the cause for n 2nd number 3... for that check with your ISP... once u get the BIS connected, your 2nd number 3 will be solved automatically.
