  I don't want to step on the toes of Boomer56, but you have been unanswered for six hours, so I'll take a shot at it.

  If you connect your phone to your PC and open the Desktop Manager, you can reload your current operating system from there.  Firstly, open Desktop Manager and do a backup of your phone.  Once it is done, click the device in the upper part of the DM and update the menu drop down.  You could say that your phone is up to date.  At the bottom of this box, it will show view other Versions.  Click on that and make sure that your current version is the one that is checked.  Keep it checked, and then click Update.  This is going to re - install your current operating system, as well as all the bells and whistles with which it came.

  Hi there and welcome to the forums!

  You can resolve this problem by following the steps (I did the same thing on my Storm for the same reason you):

  • Open the phone application, then press the BB Menu key and select Options
  • Select Call Logging and then change the calls to zero logging options.

  This will still show an icon for missed calls, but it will remove the calls to your main message folder.

  I'm not sure I quite understand, so let me explain (forgive me if I go too far).

  Unless you have your own server, your system accesses your e-mail provider via POP or IMAP... but your home system is simply an e-mail client. Similarly, BIS is an e-mail client that facilitates the communication between your server and your BB email. The Setup instructions to do this are here:

  Now, if you use this, then you must configure your home email client to leave messages on the server for a certain period of time - so that when the BIS polls for new messages (every 15 minutes), they will be on the server for it to recover and push to your BB.

  However, if your question is one of recovery, using your system, your emails that you have set up for a @bb e-mail address, I don't think that there is a way to do... I think that those who are exclusively for your BB itself.

  Z30, fully updated software.

  I have 4 email clients on my phone. Mail Mac decided not to send emails at all, although I can still receive all emails as usual. Other clients work perfectly in all respects, receiving and sending.

  I tested all clients and tested the phone on multiple connections wifi, as well as through mobile 3 G signal. I rebooted several times.   With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • Please wait a 'recording' message

  2) restart

  • Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process.
  • IF this fails, you can try the method more energetic keep up/down keys volume until the device turns off completely. Wait a bit and start normally.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should indeed try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

  Open your Hub > press the right lower overflow icon three points.

  Tap Settings > email accounts > press the e-mail in question account > add or edit the signature it there.
