  • He has no support in the Bios.
  • the two have a digital pads and Yes, it's ironic, but yes, I do my homework and solved with the same solution for the 360 feel like in this forum.
  • * changed the regedit - in 2 places. fixed working together. Ty anyway.

Like this:

  1. Run the registry editor. (Windows key + R, regedit, OK
  2. . Go to (and click on) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard
  3. Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.
  4. However, the value is already set to 2.  so I continued
  5. The location is HKEY_USERS\Default\Control Panel\Keyboard and again change the value to 2. Don't worry if it's currently something like 2147483648. -BINGO!

fixed.  work in Envy 15, Envy 17 and envy 360

Hello, please help me. I use a power keyboard for my laptop. I see in the new keyboard is equipped with a num lock key is turned on. I can't use on it please help me disable it. I do not use a NumLock on. Thank you

You say that when you press the NUM LOCK key, the Numlock State does not change (if enabled to disabled and vice versa)?  Have you tried to unplug the keyboard and by ensuring that the keyboard of the laptop does not have enabled Numlock?  If so, turn it off on the laptop keyboard and reinsert the another keyboard and see if the problem is resolved.

If you do not need the Numlock key, it can be disabled at startup with the following procedure:http://www.technipages.com/enabledisable-numlock-at-login-or-startup.html. Once this is done, I don't think he's going to turn on or off and that they the keyboard will start in the off position.  You will not be able to use the key yourself or another, but maybe the problem she is on (which is worse than it to be impossible to be turned on) will be resolved and I hope it will be enough for you.

If the key does not work and you want to be able to use it, the keyboard may be defective.  Try the keyboard on another computer and see if you have the same problem.  If so, the keyboard is defective and must be replaced.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Hello

These issues in the past have been resolved with BIOS update. I therefore recommend as a first step of the BIOS update.
Check the current version on your laptop and the most recent proposed on the Toshiba download page.

To be honest I don't understand why you waited so long on this subject. Laptop warranty valid and the nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer can help you about this.

  • "CAPS LOCK" key causes the delay

Whenever I use the "caps lock" key, a pop up box appears at the bottom right of my screen and I can not continue typing until the box lowers, which always takes at least a total of five seconds.  This creates an intolerable interruption by typing.  How can I get rid of this pop up box?

What the popup box to say EXACTLY (including all codes)?  It happens only with this key?

Without knowing what the pop-up box, it is difficult to provide targeted - suggestions, but here are two that might help account given what you have provided.

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

Maybe that's a problem with the keyboard driver, software, or firmware.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers, software or firmware (and you need to do for the keyboard), get the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

For anything else (if the above does not solve the problem), we need to know the information in the pop-up box.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP envy 17-J006ED: failed to UPDATE the BIOS

    Hello

I have a laptop of 17-J006ED DESIRE; Bought in December 2014. On the HP site, he had advice for the update of the BIOS. I downloaded the SP76843.exe file. I run the application directly from Windows; so I did not create a USB drive. I had the idea that the update went well.

The computer restarted, but I got a black screen. Sometimes the Caps Lock key light flashes twice.

In this forum, I found the following solution:

So what I did I a Flash DRIVE to fat32 formatted and named HP_TOOLS and downloaded the latest bios installation exe file. Drag the .fd file you want the downloaded exe file. Then click and there will be 3 options. With the installation of device (removable media) select continue it with her. It will create subfolders and insert the bios file in the right place. It will be converted to a different format (bios file will be decrypted). The above steps have been completed by another computer. Take the corrupt laptop battery and hold the power button / stop for 10 seconds or more. This will reset all active tension. Do not replace the battery but plugging the USB and plug it into the power. Now hold Windows key and the 'B' set key and the power button. Hold the three buttons until the CAPS lock led flashes once. Release the power button and hold Windows + B keys together until CAPS lock led flashes constantly. Wait a few seconds and it will automatically boot via USB on the screen of the bios recovery.

I followed these instructions. It is not worked.

    Please, help me

  • HP ENVY m6-n113dx Notebook PC: update the BIOS F.22A and keyboard

    Hello

I was hoping that over time someone would have posted something with a similar problem, I have, but its been a while so I guess I would ask and I hope an answer and I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

Awhile back, I upgraded my laptop BIOS (HP ENVY Notebook PC m6-n113dx) from F.21A to F.22A, who apperently offers improved performance of the internal keyboard. After the update, nothing seemed very different. However when I play a game and press a key on the keyboard, the charater would sometimes get stuck on this action of the key as if she was held down. Usually, I just press the button again to stop this action, although this has become an embarrassment.

I've been reading the forums and found a lot of options for apperently decommissioning of your BIOS to earlier versions, but I would like to know where I can find a how to or may downgrade my BIOS of F.22A to F.21A, especially for my laptop.

    Thanks in advance

I was hoping that HP had fixed the enter the Bios thing with updated Bios if installed. This thing was a pain like that otherwise I'd be a camper happy with this PC, how is it you can not solve this HP?

Because of disconnect hard drive it hangs just below ground

    The solution is

I had installed a better Nvidia GTX-950 video card. By hitting the ESC, it hangs and nothing happens. Black screen, although you can see slightly change the colors

Fortunately both the edge video card and the new Nvidia both using a HDMI cable. So I just plug my integrated video card. Started while typing ESC and the Legacy Bios screen selection came where I choose F10 to enter the Bios of the legacy

When you perform an update of the HP Bios seems to put everything back by default, in other words on board, by selecting the video edge. Although you can see by selecting HDMI port at startup if you think it's ok.

I have worked with Dell PC for 15 years to work, it does not matter what card I put in them. At the start, I hit F2 and Bios loads so that bit me. Now I know

    Quite true.

    See the image below.

What is necessary to do is to extract the sp66782.exe file to a folder on the second computer.

Rename A 018, 4. FD file to 018 has 4. BIN and save it to the root of the USB stick.

Plug the key into a port on the computer laptop problem.

Press the power button / stop the laptop and immediately press and hold the Windows key and the B key until the phone reacts and starts the BIOS recovery.
