BlackBerry Java plugin for Tour 9630

I install different versions of software from the "BlackBerry Update site" in the «assistance, updates of software...» "in Eclipse.

This way, I installed 4.5.0, 4.6.0 4.6.1, 4.7.0 5.0.0 etc, but I am not able to find 4.7.1 which is necessary to obtain the 9630 Simulator and get it integrated into Eclipse.

Any ideas how to do this?

There is no version 4.7.1 BlackBerry Java SDK.  You can download a simulator BlackBerry Smartphone running the version 4.7.1 here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/resources/simulators.jsp

Once installed, you can use within Eclipse.

  • How to specify a Java Plugin for opening a form?

    Hello

    Is it possible to use a specific form a specific Java Plugin? This, of course, in the same session, in the same browser.

    For example:
    Use of the form formA.fmx, the Java plug-in 1.6.0_20
    Use of the form formB.fmx, the Java plug-in 1.5.0_06

    With respect,

    There was focus (zorder) of window problems reported long since 1.6.0_10 was released. Some were considered JRE issues and other matters of forms and some are still being investigated. In this spirit, I would recommend using 11.1.1.4 or 11.1.2 If you're not already do. This will ensure that you have the latest patches available in place.

    Also helpful is disabling JRE 'Next generation' option. This setting is found on the Advanced tab of the control panel of the JRE. Uncheck this box and see if the behavior is more to your liking.

  • Java plugin for Oracle hangs after the last update

    As part of the requirement of the Oracle, we run JRE 1.7.60
    To update firefox this morning and now the plugin is constantly crashing.

    Hello

    Thanks for your reply, but I doubt that flash player is related to do with Java.

    And the Java applet crashing in my browser, I guess, should not be linked to my graphics driver, especially since the only update that took place was an update of firefox.

    In any case, Firefox for some reason any launches 2 additional tabs when executing the Java Applet (IE does not work). In the past, I'm used to close the first tab, since it contains nothing except an Oracle logo.
    However, it seems that after the last update of firefox, if this tab is closed, it cause Java to crash.

    Therefore, do not close the additional tabs by the Java Applet. However, this has never happened before, do not know what has changed in the latest version of Firefox to make it happen now?

  • BlackBerry JDE plugin for Eclipse

    I'm new to the Blackberry development.  The first thing I did was downloaded "BlackBerry_JDE_PluginFull_1.0.0.67.exe".  I followed the installation instructions and the process is stuck at the 'Installation' stage and never be able to complete the installation of the plug-in.  Then I downloaded "eJDE1.0.0.67_With_CP4.5.0.16.zip" and add the plugin Eclipse Software Update.  After Eclipse installation is complete, the "Blackberry" is added to the list of functions.  When I click on "Blackberry", only "installation Signature keys' shows.  The "signature of the query" and "Workspace to configure Blackberry" were gray outside.  I tried to search for the file with .cod on my pc and can not find.

    What should I do next to get the Eclipse environment for the development of Blackberry running?

    Emily

    I'm not sure I understand your questions, but if you try to create a new project of BlackBerry, go to file > New > project and select BlackBerry project. If you have an existing project, you can add it to your workspace by file > import, and then click BlackBerry project.

    To test the project, you can select "Debug as BlackBerry Simulator". To install the application on your phone, you must create the ALX file (right-click on the project and select "Generate ALX file") and then point the BlackBerry Manager to the Application loader in the ALX file.

  • Captivate use a Java plugin for browsers and what happens when Java is progressively to our on our LMS SCORM course?

    Hi, I work with an LMS (called clarity) and our supplier has indicated that when the Java Web browsers plugins are disabled or are more supported come September 2015 (I think they are referring to Chrome for September 2015) that the any of our courses created with Adobe Captivate does more work because they rely on Java to transfer information from the courses in the LMS. Is that correct, and how can this be addressed? We have hundreds of courses created with Adobe Captivate® 5 and up to 8 Captivate, accessible via Internet Explorer, most of the time. All courses are SCORM compatible (1.2 and 2004). Thank you!

    Captivate uses JavaScript, not Java. All of the tutorials use JavaScript to interface with the LMS because it is not dependent on server and maintains the shareable part of SCORM intact.

    No worries.

  • Using libraries in BB Java plugin for Eclipse Java

    Hello

    I try to use the packages;

    java.awt.image.BufferedImage

    javax.imageio. *.

    in my BB program, but an error message says "import cannot be resolved. I tried to import files sourse JDK such as libraries, but rest the prblem and none of the objects of these classes work in my program.

    Help, please! Thanks in advance.

    With a quick Google, it seems to me that java.awt.image.BufferedImage is a java 2 Platform SE 5.0 (and above) class and javax.imageio is java 2 SE 6.0 and therefore they are available, or will be usable in a BlackBerry project java j2me.

    Each application needs to at least 1 entry point.  You might have the auto application run at startup and does not display an icon.

    Or you can have both with the help of another point of entry.  Could be invoked from an icon, and the other could auto start.

  • Preprocessing in Blackberry JDE plugin for Eclipse

    Hello

    Here's a piece of code

    //#preprocess
    public class Main {
    //#ifdef AAA
        int x;
    //#endif
        int x;
        x = 3;
    }

    If I run the JDE Eclipse plug in point 1.1, it works perfectly.

    However, when I use Eclipse 1.0 component package 4.2.1 plugn it does not work.

    Eclipse is said to 'Duplicate the field Main.x'. (I have not "define constants 'AAA')

    Any idea on this?

    Eclipse 1.0 and package 4.2 does support preprocessor?

    (I need to develop the application that support 4.2.1 so it is important to use JDE 1.0 eclipse plugins).

    Thank you in advance.

    I found the solution:

    Define an arbitrary Constanst (preprocessor definitions) in the project properties.

    That activates the function "preprocessing" of eclipse and everything works fine.

    I won't block manually after each call. There must be a way.

    He should be a lock on the device icon.  Look in the settings folder.  You can move it to the home screen if it is more convenient.  In addition, you can type the K key to block, as well.

    If you successfully saved all the settings for locking password with the time of 1 minute then it must lock.  Make sure that you have selected accidentally 1 hour... I did it myself.

  • Firefox 14.01: Java Plugin appear on behalf of administrator only, not for user accounts - how to fix?

    I wasn't using the java plugin for a long time.

    At some point in the past, the plugin java (that I had turned off for years) is COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED from the list of plugins and addons Manager list NORMAL user accounts.

    It is ALWAYS AVAILABLE on the ADMIN account, but is seriously not intended to be run from there.

    Sysinternals sysmon, is to observe that the java runtime registry entries are located since firefox running in user mode. The java runtime (not the absolute last version, but enough to day 1.7.0_01) is correctly installed and running (for any local application of the IDE).

    The questions:
    -How can I fix this situation?
    -How Firefox does not recognize the java runtime (in detail)?
    -How can I avoid this problem for future updates?

    Additional info:

    Protocol of activities of firefox in admin mode to access the java plug-in:
    http://harryboeck.dyndns.org/Verschiedenes/Firefox-Java-troubleshooting-superusermode.PNG

    Protocol of activities of firefox in user mode access the java plug-in:
    http://harryboeck.dyndns.org/Verschiedenes/Firefox-Java-troubleshooting-usermode.PNG

    Notice the difference: in administrator mode, after accessing HKLM/.../JRE, it goes directly to open 'npdeployJava1.dll '. In user mode, it makes mystical headstands in vain to access some mime base, but does not even touch the dll at all. Should this have any meaning?

    You must first update the Java plugin. Older versions have been blocked since Firefox due to a serious security problem, so update should help. Let me know if you still have problems (make sure that you uninstall any previous version)
