BlackBerry Q10 unable to Sync, perhaps because of the most recent update

Hello

I recently had an update to the device and now my calendar and contacts will not sync (photos/videos do).  I have a Q10 and my device software is released: 10.2.1.2976

People seem to get hung up when he said 'matching records"subject to half way through, but the calendar gets stuck at the beginning when he says 'getting status for BB calendar."  No update anything.

Here is the error message I receive in my journal:

Synchronization failed

CPreferencesManager: Value of Configuration for/Preferences/Account_2_131074/SuncAccountId_2 not defined in TransConfig.xml for translator RimBB

I looked my configuration settings (even if nothing would have changed) and they are as they always were.  Nothing is missing or out of place.

Anyone have any ideas?

OK, rookie move.  I should have tried that first... I rebooted my phone (a battery, etc.), restarted my computer and then reset my configurations by default, reconfigured everything as it was before... and it worked.

    Please click on '+' symbol, it will open the list of user accounts. Add currently logged in username and administrator option,

    Then indicate ""& read/write " permission currently logged in username and Administrator option."

    Click the gear icon and select apply to closed. Close the dialog box information .

    Then try to reinstall Flash player.

  • Failed to sync files - missing the most recent version of the file

    I have two files in the cloud: my Lightroom Catalog and previews file support and work between my desktop and laptop. I have not opened the file LR catalog of the workstation from the 3/10, but have used in on my laptop at all times. After you install the updates today, he asked me to sign the creative cloud, which I did. When I look at my creative cloud file, my two files had been replaced by the OLD version of the file on the desktop, changed the 3/10. The most recent version, current disappeared that I worked for a month. None of the work I did on Lightroom, hours and hours, no longer appears. Please help me find the latest version of my file!

    Also: it does not appear on the files "Archived" on my account. The last archived version was 3/10. If the file I used for the past month, never synced to the cloud, why it has been replaced by an older version of the file?

    With the recent update of the application of Creative Cloud Desktop (1.9.1.474), we have unfortunately introduced a bug that causes the creation of a new Creative Cloud Files folder and re-synchronization of all content. This will happen only the first time that the synchronization application runs after the update. This caused an understandable pain and confusion, for which we really apologize.

    Creative application Cloud Files contains a logic that supports the use of several Adobe ID. This allows to disconnect from an ID and in, but keeps the contents of your separate creative cloud. When you sign out and change identifiers, the app moves the previous creative Cloud Files folder and it's content and he adds with the already signed in ID (User@AdobeID). Then, it creates a main folder and begins to synchronize the content of the identification of new.

    The bug I mentioned earlier occurs, as the app believes an ID selector took place and as such, moves the current record of Creative Cloud Files and attempts to annex the already signed in ID. As no switch actually took place, it manifests as (unknown).  The application then creates a main folder to synchronize the data.

    What you end up with is essentially a creative Cloud Files folder with your new synchronized data and a creative Cloud Files (unknown) folder that contains duplicate data.

    This happens once, after the last update.

    The solution is to simply delete the (unknown) Creative Cloud Files folder.

    I recommend that ensure you that you have no pending change you can do offline and you check the contents of the folder new, main designer Cloud Files contains everything you expect of him.  If this is not the case, check the contents of the creative Cloud files (unknown).

    If there is still an incompatibility with your data, you can check on creative.adobe.com to confirm that your data is there.

    "Unable to sync 'file name' because the file name is not valid. the characters |, ',?, <>, /,-, *, and: cannot be used in file names. "

    But I don't have any of these characters in the files that I am trying to sync.

  • BlackBerry Q10 speaker/Mic stopped working - I'm the only one? Help!

    A few weeks ago the mic on "speaker phone mode" on my phone stopped working.

    Phone works very well in phone mode, but to try the speaker - a total nogo button!

    WTF and everything!

    For me, this is one of the most important features on the phone!

     

    Then I realized the microphone for recording videos has also disappeared.

    When I try to use it on the phone calls, looks to an endless loop.

    Here's what I've done so far:

    1 deleted all apps purchased for nothing.

    2. rebooted, restarted, pulled battery... nothing.

    3 reset the device... Yes, completely done... nothing.

    4. has tried to put in headphones, removing the headphones (seen this somewhere)... nothing.

    Someone at - it this?

    Am I the only one?

    Go to the App help click test and see if you can test the microphone. Of it fail the test, you will need to contact your carrier for warranty repair.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to sync Curve 8330 w / o/s 4.5 BBDM 4.2 devices

    First off... Info by the PC.

    Win XP Pro SP3

    Outlook 2003 SP2

    BBDM 4.2 SP2

    My wife and I have blackberries, I have a Pearl 8130 running OS 4.5.0.66 while she has a Curve 8330 running 4.5.77 OS

    I upgraded two 4.5 devices because we wanted the ability to separate work and home schedules.
    So we both synchronize our House using BBDM 4.2 calendar, which has been fine until yesterday. We use the DM 4.2 because it takes for my home mail server. It also uses the Desktop 4.2 to work (this time because it continues to use Outlook 2000, which does not support the DM 4.5).

    When we configure first the House DM we specified a default calendar in options > Advanced Option > default Services. It changes the calendar by default if it needs to synchronize its calendar of work. It was fine for a week. But yesterday it just stopped synchronization of calendar, Contacts is fine... There is no error report, no window pop up to say error found and nothing in the synchronization log.

    I tried to reconfigure the synchronization settings, recreated the synchronization profile, restarted the PC and doing a battery pull on the hand. Nothing seems to help. The only way I can get things to synchronize now is to change the default calendar for that account it uses to work, then it syncs but duplicates the entrances to House and adds entries for the calendar of the House work.

    On my handheld, I did the same thing with no luck. I will not sync my calendar of work via DM to the factory, I only use BIS and the events calendar are added only if I receive a meeting request by e-mail. I installed NotifyLink so I'm doing some tests with him, and it is configured to synchronize the calendar OTA. And I used an account other than the default calendar for this. And if I pass on the account I used to sync OTA I get too all the House calendar event duplication in the calendar.

    My question is... Can someone shed some light on this? It is ultimately because DM 4.2 cannot make the distinction between the accounts of another calendar and will only synchronize with the last configuration?

    I have improved my 8130 to o/s 4.5.0.77 (the same version of my wife 8330 is running) upgrade went well... Everything on your handheld seems to be ok...

    I have connected the bead on the desktop this morning and was able to correctly synchronize the calendar. But I stll cannot synchronize the curve. And there is no upgrade of operating systems available for her still for me to try that...

    You'd be able to synchronize the devices and the Outlook calendar at home.

    With your Gmail account, you can import your contacts as well.

    Would keep you synchronized with devices and the calendar of the House, have your contacts.

    That would leave a DM sync for your wife to work for Outlook 2000 calendar. This action has resolved its changing the default calendar between work and home.

    (If Gmail has support for 2000, your wife could bind his work schedule and his personal calendar to sync even. Users can have multiple calendars in Google.)

    Read the links and see if it would be easier for you to manage.

    I installed the BB desktop software to sync my Ipod on Itunes songs to the storm.  I clicked on the appropriate reading lists and press sync.  Unfortunately, he has more than a few songs.  He then produces a message that says that the majority of the playlist didn't come more reason to "digitally protected.  I don't understand why it would not import or sync legitimate songs purchased from Itunes to the storm.  This problem can be solved?  Thank you...

    It cannot be resolved simply.

    BlackBerry won't play your iTunes purchased with digital rights management.

    You CAN burn those iTunes on a CD and then snatch them again from your PC, then takes care of the iTunes.

    I just installed BB DTM for Mac and noticed that I have a major problem: the PIN code for all my contacts will not sync between my Mac and my BB. It works perfectly with Missing Sync, so I hope I'm missing something.

    Can anyone give some information as to what might happen or how can I fix? My contacts are stored in the address book on 10.5.8

    In fact, I used this with Missing Sync and it worked well. Of course, I can add the PIN information to the field notes, but this does not allow me to easily PIN contacts which is a real downer. I don't understand - a main feature of the Blackberry's PIN messages, so I don't understand how you cannot synchronize between a Mac and a BB pin codes. Well, I guess it's time to say bye bye to DTM - which did not last long

  • BlackBerry Q10 unable to restore blackberry Q10

    I'm a technical analyst working for the Government of New Brunswick and often deal with faulty blackberry. I am currently trying to restore a backup that I did on a device for a client and I get an error indicating that the blackberry ID associated with the backup file does not match that on the device.

    How to restore this unit of the backup that was made? I don't have the client with me, and I don't know if he's even a BB ID.

    I solved the problem.

    For anyone interested in how I did it, I had to redo the enterprise activation prior to the restore function. Would be nice if this info was easily found on your site.

    ID of BB was not necessary at all once his unit had been activated.

    This issue has been well documented. Don't waste time of the OP. BB just in has not made a priority. Chen focuses on 'Enterprise 'Prosumers' ' while loyal customers/consumers are left wondering what's next. Loyal customers are used as an attempt to raise money for the ultimate vision of Chen of "machine to machine". Right now, the only demi-cuite solution is to use Outlook Connector :-(

    My computer has the latest version of iTunes (12.1.3) and my iPhone 5 is updated as possible. Every time I connect and open iTunes, I get the error message "the iPhone"iPhone"is unable to connect because it requires a newer version of iTunes." How is this possible when iTunes is updated as possible? How can I fix it?

If you run Windows 7 or later, then the latest version of iTunes is actually 12.3.3.17. 12.1.3 was the last version to support Windows XP and Vista, but it should be able to support an iPhone 5 (but not iPhone SE)-at least until what iOS 10 happen in September. The version you have installed is perhaps actually 12.1.2? I think it was when Apple Software Update has stopped working properly.

    I am an AT & T customer is the United States that I own a Q10, does anyone have an idea with AT & T will release the update. I have been asked this same question now for awhile and have been informed to install the update and an autoloader myself I have not had a bit of luck this. I called my AT & T rep that we have for your business to ask him if he knows something about the update and it don't didn't call me back.   My current OS is 10.1.2030, I would be able to use the ADF for the update, if I am able to.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to respond to emails after the restoration of profile

    Hi BB community.

    I have problems with the sending of responses to emails on my Blackberry 8310. I can receive emails and send emails again, but I'm unable to respond to emails sent to me (there no option). The only option I have is to write a new email and send.

    I tried to have service returned books, hard reset (handheld wipe) and initially it seemed to have not solved the problem. After trying another activation hard reset and company the second time without restoring my profile and third-party applications, I had the opportunity to respond to emails. However, the restoration after the activation is not successfully restore my apps and it causes the question answer to happen again.

    My question is, how do I proceed from here? Should I just suck it and re - download all my apps again instead of restore, is possible (which seems likely) that one of my apps is causing this issue or it could even be something to do with how I install my Blackberry Desktop?

    Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    I think your correct, your app is causing the problem.  Once you restore, you still have the problem.  I would like to re - download apps not restore from the BES.  I think it's your problem.
