  I checked the charger, it gives about 21.5 V and I opened the laptop and it seems to have the tension on most of the components. Windows warned me that the battery has been a failure. Is it possible that this laptop won't turn on because of a failed battery and that it also doesn't turn because of the battery charge light? I tried to measure the battery voltage and the best I get is 0.5 V. It has even boosted to 1V, but quickly dropped to 0... So my main question would be, is it the battery or motherboard. The battery model is VGP-BP35A

  An update of the situation:
  New battery arrived today and it solved the problem. This laptop does NOT work without a battery, or the light on the laptop when it is connected to the charger without the battery inside!

  This may be a dumb question... but by loading the storm... the LIGHT flashes... when the LED flashes more... Does this mean that its fully charged?

  No question is too dumb. Yes, when it becomes solid green it is fully charged. Takes about 3 hours when nearly emptied.

  If the battery is completely drained, then you will not be able to load it via your PC.  You will need to plug it into a charger for BlackBerry (note, another wall Chargers may not work when the battery had been fully drained).

  Your computer can only charge the battery on your BlackBerry, if she still some level of support.

  Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, always toujours relie connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage). If it is not restart on the first attempt, leave several hours. I had a charge for two days before, she came back to life after extreme exhaustion of the battery. Every 3-4 hours with the device plugged into the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it restarts.

  Hello everyone, my Z10 STL100-4 couldnot combined able to get 100% load. It remains at 97%. I tried to load in light them up and trun off modes, but could not able to get 100% load. Earlier, it shows full charge, but today, I noticed the point mentioned above. Where as virtual expert blackberry (BBVE) battery is displayed as healthy. Please guide me what to do aur how to solve this problem.

  1. the percentage loaded see you ON the device is ONLY an estimate based on the software reading fees history, drainage, electricity, etc. and is NOT an exact thing. The software on the device believes THAT the accusation. You will very probably BE 100%.

  2. to reset the counter of software on the device, normally it works... let your device to charge connected to the charger OEM wallout. After an hour or longer, and STILL CONNECTED to the charger, remove the battery a minute then reinsert it to restart. You may need to do this once or three over the next few days.

  Hmmm... Well, with this process, if it was going to work, it is normally. The next things to try are:

  (1) obtain a correct known and already fully charged battery... Put it in your BB and see what happens.

  (2) get a good known BB identical... Put your battery and see what happens.

  The results of this will help identify if your battery or your BB went wrong.

  I'm curious... read these discussions in recent weeks... found this work with the Tablet for about 2.5 hours after... I was up to 75% of battery. Connect the tablet to install a software... noticed 75%, not charging. Stop... removed the battery and put it back... He then read 75%, in charge. OK... so what's fixed now... a question about the manual of the system. Said that when the battery is charging, a white light is supposed to be on... where? When that I start, I see a momentary white light at the top of the screen, by the front camera... but when it is plugged and the loading and off... white light no.... No a - I misread? Thank you

  Light (color is white when the load) is located next to the power switch (top, right). Mine re-load very fast.

  White light goes off (or does not) when the Tablet is fully charged (the light on the charger is always on when it is plugged into the outlet)...

  You should contact the seller. Same thing happened on my Z30. BlackBerry link will not work and all other methods. I got a replacement. So as already suggest back to the seller as defective.
