  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  However, things can be odd, depending on what you mean by "completely"? Several carriers push icons "teaser" to get you to install applications they're pushing. But the icon itself is not an application installed... rather just a shortcut to "tease" you to install the application. You can't stop these teaser icons.

  First perform a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery for a min. then reinsert it wit back up what your device restarts. Then give it a try and see if it allows you to uninstall this application.

  If that does not start then your device on Safe Mode, while safe mode remove the theme of your device. Options of > device > application > remove it of there.after conducting another battery pull reboot.

  (1) why the update freezes the Desktop Manager and

  (2) how to stop countless emails?  I saw an answer about uninstalling it and using the BIS option, but I did not understand what it means.

  Now, I tried your suggestion, but when I try to change the settings I get the error report in a temporary folder configuration file is missing.  Instead, I uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software, taking care to check the BIS option, but still I get multiple emails.

  Have you recently added a third party application or upgraded your device operating system?

  Hello I finally grew up Windows mobile and is went to Verizon and upgraded to a Blackberry Storm 9530. The software in the box was 4.7 version which seems to be the most up-to-date. I installed and plugged my Storm a couple of times and the Application loader would show all installed on my Storm. I installed some other applications on the side today without the software and it worked fine. In addition, they came into the Application loader with the default software loaded. Tonight, I decided to hang the storm back up the PC and I went to search for updates of my software. When he tried to download updates, he made a fatal mistake and the BB Desktop Manager crashed. My storm and then went to a white screen with a clock and would not answer. I had to pull the battery and put it again to start my storm to the top. Since then when I go to the application loader she only shows 2 apps I installed today and not one of the other applications so that I can delete or update. They seem to be on my Storm and function, but not in this list. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled after a reboot and show again that these 2 files.

  What can I do to fix my first BB which now seems to have broken?

  Hello.  I would like to please, help, reinstalling v4.2.2 on my BB Curve 8310 phone.  I updated yesterday to 4.5 after receipt of the notification of the RIM.  I like some of the applications & tools news, but for some reason any now my ringtones & alerts sound tinny and are too weak.  Frankly, I don't like that & it does not work for me.  It's like I put it on medium and low in some cases & I put them at the top.  So I would appreciate any help you can provide me with me back to the v.4.2.  I reloaded the software from the disc and the web on the computer then tried to sync w / the phone, but it does not work.  I know that I miss something here and make me a little frustrated.

  Hello.  Once again.  Long story short, it was inexplicable coincidence.  The problem was with the download of the software.  I have my ringtones & alerts back to what they were originally.  There is a big difference.  After my last post yesterday, a few times my curve is a not sound at all and then he did, so I contacted AT & T today.  After that they gave me the runaround, I contacted BlackBerry to see how much it would cost me for repair.  It turned out that the person of 'BB Technical Support' AT & T transferred to the departure is not a direct employee of BB, just a tech trained at BB.  After that I told them all, BlackBerry out of their way to help me solve my problem.  And I don't even have a stink in this regard.  I told them that I wanted to just the phone repaired.  Period.  So Bravo to George to the BlackBerry for having been so patient and helpful!  Thank you for taking the time to try to help me here, too.  I learned other interesting things I can do with my curve in this forum!  So I will mark as resolved.  I hope it's appropriate.

  I'm new to blackberry and want to make sure that my employer has not installed spyware on my device. From my reading, you can look for signs such as spikes in data transfers when you are not using the phone, this sorta thing. I want to be absolutely positive there is no spy software installed, and so what I think, is that in a week or two, I would like to do a re-installation of the blackberry OS system software. I'm on a mac, and I know that I can pick up the phone an AT & T store and they could do the reinstall for me.

  If I had to, I would also reinstall all the applications I downloaded? And below this method, any spyware detection software that I could use to avoid having to take these measures? Thank you.
