BlackBerry Smartphone password keeper

My replacement phone password keeper leaves me not so much that it's not accept my old password even those that I just restored all the data of the DM, but I made no change!

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, try again the password Keeper password.

  • BlackBerry smartphone password password Keeper

Help! I have configured guard passes last night and have discovered that I grated the piece of paper where I wrote the password to enter the application. I forgot the password and tried to enter 5 times, leaving me with only 5 left. Is it possible to override the system, or reset the password or SOMETHING to get into the app and start over?

Really, really stupid of me, I know.

    fhjtriulzi wrote:
I know now that everything is going to be removed from the BB. OK - I guess it's really logical. Also well backed up last night!

I guess now, you have discovered that it didn't happen. Not "everything".

In password keeper, enter an incorrect password ten times will ONLY wipe the information since the password keeper, not the entire system.

    Good luck.

  • Smartphones blackBerry and password keeper profiles

    1. Why are disabled profiles and this should be turned on?  It is an x on the top left speaker and also in the menu.
    2. Password I guess I put by mistake a password to protect passwords in the guardian and now do not remember what is the goalkeeper. I have a lot of passwords and want to use this facility. How work and how stop he asks me a password to open it?

    Shane Aurousseau

    1. you cannot disable profiles ' ", but you can choose or change profiles. The red X by the speaker means that you are in a quiet profile (no noise, no speaker). Open your profiles and choose another, as normal or another.

    2. you can't make it stop asking, but you can repeatedly enter the wrong password for password keeper (10 I think) and it will clear all information in password keeper only. Cool, you can use the application to define once again, a NEW password that you will remember.

    Hello

I just got my BB Curve.  I had a Palm Pilot.  I had an application called more password on my Palm.  He kept all of my usernames and passwords.  Is there anything like this for the BB?

    Cindy

Hi Cindy, yes it is, it's called password Keeper, you will first need to create a password for the password manager so that you can use it. The password for the PK will be used to open the PW so you can see the content.

  • BlackBerry 10 password keeper

I was wondering if the BB 10 had a password keeper. I have used every day on my "BOLD", but now I can not find on the 10. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi James,

Yes, 10 BlackBerry devices have password Keeper. You just need to download from BlackBerry App World. You can find it here:

    I hope this info helps!

  • Sync blackBerry classic password Keeper cloud

Another small problem with my classic Blackberry...   When I use my password Keeper (a few times a month), he eventually sync when I need to quickly check a password.  Then I need to wait for what seems like an enternity finally confirm my password.

I searched for a way to disable the synchronization of clouds or determine a way to reduce its presence.  For now, I just turn on airplane Mode, then use this feature.  Unfortunately, I lose all connectivity when I'm looking for a password.  Of course, there's a better way to solve this problem?

Your passwords should be read as long as it's syncing. If they are not, check BBWorld for an update to the password keeper.

  • BlackBerry smartphone password reset after the end of support

I have no more phone support.

My old password does not work.

I can't get my ID blackberry for work.

I want to just this device to open.

This means that you have your employers device, they have you removed from their network and forced a new password to you. You can call to ask what is the password.

BUT, probably, their intention to reset the password is for you to do a wipe of the device security so that none of the persistent employer email, data, etc., remain on this device.

After clearing security, you end up with essentially a new, fresh, device with no previous, ready to install as a personal device data.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone password expire in? days

    Hi gurus

I recently acquired a Bold 9700 and have set up a password for the device, but now I am regularly told that my password expire in so many days. I tried to find where to change this setting, but in vain.

Can someone tell me where I should be looking?

    Thank you

    Hello

Want to know where to change the password itself? Or where to change the password expiration (days) setting?

    For the password itself, see:

    • Article ID: KB00588 Security password for the BlackBerry smartphone

However, for the time-out setting, it's something completely different and not really controllable by the end user. So, first question... are you part of a BES environment? If so, then check with your BES admins they control it.

If you are not part of BES, then check this, you can:

    • Article ID: KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If there is an IT strategy and that you are not part of BES, so that that you got the device does not correctly clean up everything first. Reference:

    • Article ID: KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

If all the other steps necessary for the seller are completed, you can delete it strategy through this procedure:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

If, in this context, you choose to do a backup/restore, and then not to do a full restore of your device that you saved before the ResetToFactory. On the contrary, do only a selective restore and specifically avoid restore databases that have to do with THIS, policy, business, or something else of that nature. If you restore those, he will dutifully restore it on the device policy, and you will be right back where you started.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphone password does not not to

I can't believe this...  I just bought my curve yesterday and I'm stuck on my BlackBerry today.

During the update yesterday, I backed up my BlackBerry on my computer.

I entered a current password... when I tried to open it this morning it kept rejecting my entry.

Even the computer requested my password nothing is done. \Help

What are the steps to get things on the road?

    Hello

It seems that you forgot the password that you tried to use the Desktop Manager before entering the password. Looks like you must complete the sequence and let the camera do a security wipe. You can then restore your most recent backup and reload your personal data and settings of the device.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphone password does not

I just updated my blackberry curve and then installed the software blackberry on my new computer. When this is complete, he asked my blackberry user ID and password. I did have one, so I put one up successffully.

Then I tried to plug my camera on my computer with a USB cable I could not continue with the wireless connection. It requires a wired connection. Once I did that, he asked the password for my device. I assumed that it was the security password that I used to go to my phone. I walked in this digitally of the key number several times and it didn't work.

Then, I went back to my phone and entered there and it worked so I tried again to the computer, but even once, it did not work. Then I thought that was maybe missing my blackberry ID password so I tried and it doesn't work. Thinking that I maybe entered my password wrong ID blackberry I have successfully changed and tried again this password. It did not work. So, I went back to try the password of security for my phone. That would not work either.

Frustrated I then went back to the phone and noted that now when I try to enter my password as the characters appear they don't not before and I need to press the ALT key to give numbers. Nothing seems to work.

I wonder if, when you plug in the device, it missed my device security password or my blackberry ID password? I have an attempt to the left, and then my phone will be wiped clean of data that I really need. I tried to configure things so that I could get back data up to when it started to happen.

My last thought was that when I would normally enter the password on my phone I would just key numbers that I use without hitting the ALT key. Now I think that if I implemented this way maybe I have actually set up the password with letters instead of numbers. I'm afraid to try because this is my last attempt before losing all data. I first want to know if the unit is now looking for the blackberry ID password or the password of security? The password ID blackberry is now the password used for my device as well? If not then I'll try the letters and try my luck.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I fear that, with just the one attempt remaining, there is no hope. What you are saying is everything is correct... unless you use the ALT key for each digital character, which you wind upward with is just a numeric character followed by the alpha characters where you thought you were typing numbers. But, at this distance of the internet, we have no way to tell you what is correct or not correct. I know, it's that this IS NOT your password BBID... strictly username password locking device, created originally on the device and unlock whenever it locks. The same password must be used on the PC to connect to the desktop software. But, the content of the password, alpha or numeric, must match exactly... and if indeed as you fear, you could have involved the use of the ALT key on the device, then you may never be able to know what your password was never really. With just one attempt left, all I can advise is to use the BB to re-enter, but you only get the one chance of doing things.

Good luck and let us know!

Of course you can. Open DM > AppLoader and in options advanced, look in the list of apps and VERIFY the application of PK. If it is already done, it is responsible for your BB.

On your BB, look at the Options > Advanced > Applications and you will see list of password Keeper? If Yes, then it is loaded and just in a folder (Applications?) or another or hidden on the screen. Press Menu > show all.
