  Before reloading your OS, please try this sequence... Note that during throughout the entire process 4h15m, your BB must stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

  By pressing the button Off is not the correct way to restart our BlackBerry device, please perform a battery pull reboot as this device while is powered on remove waiting battery for a min. and then reinsert it wait until the device take a long restart. See if that helps.

  If this isn't the case, then try to start your machine in Safe Mode and in Safe Mode uninstall your downloaded recently or that you think is responsible for this.

• Seeing bright red blackBerry Smartphones BB 9000 flashes only 10 minutes?

  After receiving a new email (for example) the red light flashes. The flashing lasts about 10 minutes and then stops. I want to Flash until I have access to the mailbox, be it in 5 minutes, 25 minutes or 2 hours. I had several BB models previously and all flashed until the mailbox is accessible regardless of the time. Anyone know if this is normal in the 9000?

  If so it would be really embarrassing because after not using the phone say during lunch for an hour, the display is powered down and dark, need to wake up, a key is required to bring up the application for a passsword, the password must be entered and submitted... and once accepted I so lucky to see the right mailbox icon to determine if I have received messages... all lost effort so now new messages. Not good.

  I hope someone can point me towards a framework to solve this problem, but neither me nor ATT could find a.

  My Curve 8520 does not now turn on and the red light flashes once then quickly 4 times then stops for a few seconds and then restarts. It looks like a morse code signal. Any ideas please?

  Problem solved now. I logged on to the computer and downloaded the software again, but at the same time he began to load.   You can try to remove and replace the memory and see if it works.

  If this does not work, delete all except one module of memory (if the PC has more than one) and see if the PC works normally with the chip memory. If it beeps, remove and replace it with the memory you removed and keep doing that until you find the defective memory chip.

  I managed to fix it by downloading and making a 'Reload' with link BB. Now I think that the software was corrupted after battery ran flat. Is this 'normal' behavior when the battery is flat?

  Remove the battery and leave it out for about 2mins. Insert the battery and see if works. If this does not work, you can try the update of the new OS but this time with the battery. When the process gets to "Loading Applications" insert the battery and let it go through to the end.

  I couldn't find a place where I could tell the phone to remind me to audibly of missed calls, emails pending and waiting for text messages.  The red light blinks, but I was wondering if there was a way to make the beep of the machine so that I could be alerted waiting/lack points...?

• BlackBerry Smartphones red message light on curve 8310

  I bought a Blackberry Curve in November, and the phone locked on me last week.  It could not be fixed and as it was under warranty, they gave me a reconditioned as a replacement model.  I swear on my original Blackberry Curve when a message came to the light flashed red until I opened the message.  On the replacement phone, the indicator light flashes red but only for a few minutes, then it stops.  Is it supposed to stop flashing or continue until what I opened the email?  I don't know if the replacement phone is having a problem.  Thanks for your help.

  Is not a problem, the red LED flashes only during a short period, not forever.

  Earlier today, I received a call from a number that was supposed to be blocked in my Mr number Callblock application, but came through anyway. Since then, my light flashes as there is something that I need to check, but I went and spent by all applications and even hidden folders and you find no notifications. I did a hard reset. I am on 5.0 currently and there is no icons at the top of the screen or anything to show me what I need to check to turn off the light.
