  My visual voicemail worked fine until today, when I started to get an error message - when I press the play arrow, it says "Read error" and I can only access the message by calling voicemail.  Anyone who is familiar with that?  Do you think I should do a reset? If so, how do I?

  When odd behaviors creep, do a hard reboot battery-pop is usually a good cure. To do this, the unit being turned on, remove the back cover and remove the battery. Wait for about a minute then reinsert the battery and replace the back cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long long long restart the process (perhaps as long as 10 minutes). See if things have cleared up. As all computing devices, a reboot can be a healthy thing... and there is another thread on this forum recommends doing this every 4 days (while we wait for an improved version of the OS).

• BlackBerry Smartphones 8350i 'profile' located on normal, but performing on vibrate/ring

  Ok. I have read several posts regarding the definition of the profile in a certain framework (Loud, Normal or another), but my problem is that I know exactly how do it, but I have mine set on one thing and it does something else (the value to 'normal' and reacts as vibrate/ring). This is my first BB and the first smartphone in general, but I'm at least tech savvy and have put things as it should. Ask yourself if this is a bug or there at - it another setting that should be done as well? If there is, which does not make any sense to me.

  After looking again, I found a solution. I guess there are some "tweaking" as neds to do now. I put a user profile now. There is no mention of this in my little book on disabling don't vibrate completely. I'll improve and we hope get straightened results.   Hello.Since I had my phone (6 months now) any previous call / direct connection would show when I hit the green button 'send '. He was always the most recent at the top, what he always does, but it no longer displays the date and time of these previous calls. It shows the phone number or contact number.

  I recently bought this phone (less than 2 months ago), and a week ago I started having bad to retrieve voice messages left on the Blackberry phone.  Note that I am able to retrieve messages from the Blackberry using a landline or another phone.

  I am new to the forum and new BB products. I think to buy a BlackBerry Curve 8350i with nextel direct connect. If all goes well, this phone can do what I need it to do, I can have one phone!   Yes, it syncs contacts and calendar, if you do it with USB cable you need Desktop Manager, if you want wireless (Over The Air), you can use a work around like Google Sync, it syncs your contacts and calendar with your Google account.

  To set the automatic numbering of the voicemail on the BlackBerry smartphone password

  1. In the home screen, click the icon for the phone , open the menu and select Options > voice mail.
  2. Two options are available:
     

     Access number and several others (BlackBerry Device Software 4.1)
     Access number and password (BlackBerry Device Software 4.2)

  3. In the access number field, type composed phone number to connect to the voice mail box. (this is usually pushed by your operator)
  4. In the field additional number or password , enter the password to access the voicemail box.

  Note: If you enter multiple sets of numbers for the password, use a comma to separate the sets. Pause for two seconds before dialing additional numbers is used.
