The Auto on/off future turns off the device, but it does not turn, and I have to do it manually every morning.

2. do not turn off the power and remove the battery.
3. have a cap of coffee.
4 install the battery.
5. once the device comes online, enable and configure automatic start/stop.
6. the next discovery of the morning: the problem disappeared.

How can I get the load to the top of the screen to access my phone?

My phone had OS6 installed at the time it was released. Today, I decided to update to the latest version of the OS6. I downloaded the update through my device, and then click the button install. There is a prompt message warning that the installation can take 2 hours or more. After 2 hours, I started the monitoring device and noticed that there seems to be a pattern to the load up screen. 1 loading screen screen 2) black with LED light red 3) the load screen and then ends with a bright white screen 4) back to the black screen with LED Red 5) repeat this pattern.  I waited another hour to see if there was no change in the situation, but nothing. So I did a hard reset (battery pull). After waiting 5 minutes, I put the battery in and now I get this screen load pattern.

How can I pass the loading screens to access my phone again?

There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
    • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

    Second:

    • Start your BlackBerry in safe mode.  Article ID: KB17877 how to start a mode BlackBerry smartphone without failurehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17877
    • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
    • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: Article ID: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
    • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
    • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not put in place a personal e-mail account. I have only option to activate a company account

Hello.  I've worked for a company and access enterprise server needed to receive e-mails from company on my Curve 9330.  When I need is more capability, I called my provider, Sprint and cancelled my plan Enterprise Server and was able to set up a personal email account.  I need to recharge the phone to the default values and now when I go in the installation program to configure a personal e-mail account I only get the option.  When I select the email icon I automatically join in a sign 'no active account' and wonder of my enterprice account activity by providing an email and a password.  I don't have these and my personal e-mail id and password do not work.  I looked through the forums and follow the suggestion which has not solved the problem.  I also called Sprint and confirmed I have more company on my account/plan, in addition to checking with my local cable/internet provider that they do not cause the issue.  I rebooted the device 3 times today and have not made any progress.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for official support... but, this time, not only ensure that BES is deleted, but the BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) is active, this is necessary in order to have personal email accounts on your BB device (as well as many other owners of BB services).

    Good luck!

Hi, I tried to update my BlackBerry Curve 8330 m, and it says here that my BlackBerry is compatible with version 5.0, but I tried to update wireless and it says there is no update available. I also tried to update the page and he told me the same thing.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I can't update my 8310

According to my State, I'm using version 4.2.2.182 of the software. I've been on the blackberry site, and apparently version 4.5 is available. Now, I tried to update my phone software, and after the update my phone runs the latest version of the software. This is not true, however, and I think that upgrading to 4.5 will eliminate some of the problems with my Blackberry. How can I update my 8310? Thank you very much.

You change themes. I think that's what you see on your friends.

And make sure that they have the same exact device... not the 8900 curve - seems similar, but very different.

  • Just put update - now have several copies of Ps and Lr

Just to update using the CC application.  I now have two copies of Lr and a copy of the Ps/cc and 2014 Ps/cc.  Should I uninstall one of the Lr copies?  Should I uninstall Ps/cc and keep Ps/cc 2014?

WDKlein1000, Yes, you can uninstall older versions of Lr & PS CC that you already have the latest versions. So, no need to keep both, unless you want to, for various purposes.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones are expected to rise to OS6? Simple user

    Hello.

I am the owner of a 9700 and have read countless discussions on the new operating system. I'm still, however, on the fence. I'm not a genius of smartphone, or use many features of it. My browser is used mainly for the verification of notes and occasional search through google. I use e-mail and facebook features as well as some apps from App World. I have some pictures and a few songs. Other that that, I don't really much. It is mainly used for the text. I don't really need a BB, I guess since many features are lost for me, but after using BBM surveys, I could not possibly go back.

I like the idea of tabbed browsing. It was something I thought OS5 was missing, but I was curious to see how he ran. In addition, BB claims that navigation is clearer and faster. Is this true? I have heard some questions on the column view, but also that the zoom feature is smarter and inducing the film, if you want to. That seems like a fair solution (if it's really the case).

Finally, I have a few apps that I want to keep. My BeBuzz (complete upgraded version) being the most important for me. It will still be there when / if I update?

Thank you for your time and I'm sorry that I am ignorant so phone, but I think it is better to have features that I will ever use a phone that does not have features Miss. I know there are wires 1 million on this same subject and really took me some time to go through them. This isn't just another lazy post. We would appreciate any input. Thank you..

    Hello!

The final decision to upgrade, is yours as a last resort. But I'll try to help as I myself put up-to-date...
Yes OS6 is much friendlier and easier and faster to use user. In order to be a 'single user', it will benefit you. The browser is much faster and easier to use, and yes the tabs work fine. You can have multiple tabs as you want and they have managed independently from each other, but as with a PC browser running, you run, slowly he gets.

Yes there is no column of the view, but when you zoom in on a piece of text, it wraps in a readable size, and puts it all in a single column.

With apps, Yes, until you perform a backup on the desktop software before update you and then restore from that backup everything on your device, coming back! This includes all applications, settings, between in contact with messages, etc. I use BeBuzz, and it does not work afterwards!

I hope this helps, respond with more questions than you have!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones social double feed reviews - BB OS6

I just installed Blackberry OS6 on my Bold 9650 Verizon and enjoy using the social RSS app but I keep getting notifications in my list of foods that I can't delete duplicate.

I sometimes get two new notifications of facebook/twitter stream and one of them will remove but the other will not.

I tried to reinstall the social stream, facebook and twitter apps... other ideas?

I think I have found a way to solve this problem.

If you're showing notifications double social stream (including those that will not delete), restart your phone. When she returns to the top, do not remove or open social stream notifications, leave as unread and then restart your phone again. Once it has rebooted a second time, you should be able to remove all notifications. Therefore, you shouldn't have a problem with duplicate notifications.

    I hope this helps...

  • BlackBerry smartphones I just got my new Motorola Droid 2

I thought I'd share my feelings on the Blackberry storm and what RIM did that was really bad.

1 RIM abandoned the excitement about the storm very quickly, so that the successive versions were actually worse. I went for more than a year with:

    a. bad phone calls (I had to put in speaker mode to receive calls from phone to work). The Droid 2 is clear.

    b. the screen click statement so much better on the droid just to have a vibrarion minute when you click a button on the screen. Works just as well.

    c. the Blackberry is slow on just about everything and is broken just about anywhere. I get my screen in a mode where I press a keyboard and a button on the opposite side of the screen lights up as if I pressed on y. I don't have these problems with my new droid.

    d. the blackberry only gives you quick access to material internal. I understand the security concepts but droid can do and maintain security.

    2. the differences between the blackberry and the droid 2 are just night and day. I am surprised every time function and response. The droid 2 just leave the blackberry storm in the dust. If I didn't know any better, I would say that Blackberry is out of the phone business. They might as well give up now.

    3. I suggest that RIM or leverage in QNX (which is a very nice RTOS), or implement an android phone that is clean and add to the cool, rather than harm to this.

Good luck and I'm disappointed, but I gave Blackberry a fair shake. They just don't cut.

I am a developer too and I reached a relatively high level in the developer for blackberry forum.

    I develop for android now.

    I had a storm 1.

    I kept the software updated.

I'm a software engineer, so he was not a user error.

The droid 2 is about the same size as the blackberry storm, so the comment about 2 x 4 is . The droid is very nice to use as a phone... and I could hear a pin drop. The speaker is also very good.

My comments are not opinion. They are done. I have described specific things that happened with my phone. I don't see how the Storm 2 would be different. That he could call ability (note that I couldn't keep my storm in my ear that I had to make a decent call in speakerphone mode). It could also have the location of the most reliable touchscreen. However, it would still have other issues. And blackberry connect this droid 2. User experience everything is so nice and so natural to feel that I am very surprised. I was expecting it to be different, but not that good. It really is like night and day. If you have not used a droid. Find a friend with one and ask to swap the phones for a day or to spend an hour with her. It will blow you away. It's so nice.

Yes, these discussions can be like religions. I agree with that, but I've always been a fan of blackberry. I gave him a fair shot. I'm afraid that's not a fair opinion. My droid 2 is VASTLY superior to my blackberry storm... This isn't a fair opinion.

Finally, I acknowledge that by limiting the use, the blackberry is a tad safer, and the android OS is open to virus and security issues. However, if you buy a specific device with a certified operating system, do not install an application not certified, you will be safe. Yes, it is possible for someone to write an application that is not secure for the droid and to sell or to give it for free through an unusual channel, but this is a user error. A talented person could do the same for the blackberry. I could do this using assembler arm and points in the start-up code for an application. I have to waste his time to understand the appropriate addresses, but thanks to the knowledge of the means chip I could do if I wanted to waste a lot of time. It is I don't have time to lose... Then the verdict here is that security is really up to the habits of the user. It is easier to hit a virus by mistake on a droid on a blackberry, but it's pretty rare... rare enough to not make a difference for me. Now for applications sensitive military and policies (such as the phones of the President), then it makes more sense to use a blackberry.

    Peace

  • Memory of the blackBerry Smartphones phone wiped after update - HELP!

    Hello

I've just updated my blackberry software after that my computer asked me if I'd like to. Horror - the list of phonebook / contact (700 + phone numbers) has been completely gutted outside those who have e-mail addresses recorded. I need their return!

New sms format also means that I can't write the empty texts without specifying a recipient first and I can't add contacts to my directory of the text message - I have to call them, hang up and go from there. Can I revert to the software I was using before that it was better miles and had my numbers!

    Help please! See you soon

HI and welcome to the Forums!

Via this procedure, you can install (upgrade, downgrade, reload) any bundle of BONES that is your BB model number:

As you can see, it treats make a backup of your data before proceeding. When you did the update that you have been asked, he would have to offer to make a backup before he proceeded and then it should automatically did a restore when it was over. Something seems to have this, but I hope that the backup was already taken. Search your entire hard drive for files with the extension of the RPI (*.) IPD). Check the date and time of the results... the most recent is probably your best bet and if all goes well, was taken during the update. Use it as a source for restoring:
