BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 8310 problems

All of a sudden after almost 2 years I have problems with my 8310.  The battery shows a full charge (and it should be, as it has been on the charger).  I can be on a call.  Begin to hear a hum.  Phone goes dead.  I do a hard reboot (removing the battery and replacing).  The phone turns on IFFFF I plug.  It's all good as long as it is plugged.  I took it to my ATT Office.  They show (like me) the battery is, or has a large load on it.  What is the problem.  This started only after being on the blackberry 4.50 version.  I am also on this phone for not only personal, but commercial.  I use it for ATT Navigation, e-mails on the blackberry enterprise server server and also calls personal and personal emails.  I'm on the road, 60% of the time that's why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.  These problems have taken place for over 2 weeks now and I can't find an answer.  Please help, or I'll have to find something else that product blackberry to meet these needs.

I exchanged batteries with my husband for a week and had no more problems with my blackberry 8310.  His phone stops today during our conversation.  In the meantime, I ordered both of us, the new batteries.  Even if they are also completely responsible, there was still a problem with it.  Thanks for the support everyone.  Those of you who have had the same problems, try a new battery.  Who works for the moment, and as I said, it's been a week.

  • Blackberry 8310 blackBerry Smartphones

Hello. I recently bought a refurbished Blackberry 8310. Everything seems to work fine except the e-mail set in place.

The tutorial said that there should be an option 'I want to create or add a new e-mail address' this option does not appear.

The only option I have is to use an e-mail account to work with blackberry enterprise server.

All I want to do is link my blackberry to my existing e-mail account.

    Any ideas please?

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You have to, to get the configuration of email RIM and push email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry 8310 Smartphone image flight question

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and Blackberry phones. I got a Blackberry 8310, which has a software version 4.5.0.182, I will use only for purposes of media, as she had AT & T and I have verizon on my phone, so I could not use it anyway (so much), and I'm trying transfersome photos of his children from the phone to my pc self can email they to him. Now here are the pictures that she took with the phone, and I put a sd card, but couldn't understand how to transfer these pictures. from the phone to the card! In addition, there are some pictures of my friends on the map, and it seems that somewhere they had transferred to the phone, I know because when I removed the card and put it in my laptop, they were gone! but they are on the phone. I installed the latest version of Blackberry Desktop that has the makings of media, as well as the USB Blackberry driver. Can I use this software to get these pictures from the Blackberry to my laptop?

    Thank you

    -DDAYMEN

As soon as you open the BB Desktop Manager, you will see the Media Manager. If you have not used before, it will have you set up Roxio to manage all media for your BB.

I don't him have not used it myself, but I've played with him and it seemed pretty easy to use.

When in doubt, read the 'Help' section in the Media Manager, it should tell you how to do it.

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry 8310 on pc-linking either using usb or bluetooth

No matter what I try, I can't connect my blackberry curve 8310 (ATT) to my pc Windows XP sp3...    I tried to use the software provided by att, power off phone, back and the only thing that happens, is that the phone continues to Flash in that it connects, but never connects.  So then I go to the blackberry website and download the latest version of the software and the latest usb drivers.   No change.  Phone just keeps blinking (do not use a usb hub).  I tried many usb ports on my pc.

Okay, so now I'm tired of trying this, and I try to use my IOGEAR Bluetooth adapter.  After fighting for an hour, I get the bluetooth finally appears on my iogear software, but it requires a password to connect the phone to the pc (the phone is asking password)...

    Does really make it hard...

I searched and read many posts here, but none appeared to be suitable for my problem...

Very well.  I finally got all working...  After searching for days, I found that my IOGEAR bluetooth installed its own driver WIDCOMM bluetooth.  I uninstalled the bluetooth adapter and used, then reinstalled, using the adapter for windows xp.  Now, everything works, including the USB key.  Just how a Bluetooth player can affect a usb device, I don't understand, but that's exactly what my problems were.  Now, everything works fine, including my phone that allows me to set up my sd card correctly.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google Contacts Sync Curve 8310 problem

    Hi all

I managed to solve the problems that I had with the calendar synchronization, then learned recently I had no newer OS BB (4.5 as I write this) or the most recent Google (0.5.13) sync software. My carrier is ATT/Cingular in the U.S.

So I updated both and changed my blackberry because the old one was dropping calls.

The blackberry curve 8310 seems now to start the sync really well. It allows to synchronize the calendar, go to contacts, is done according to two-thirds (2/3) to the progress bar, then fails. The message is last sync failed

Please try again later, if the problem persists try sync siging and signing in.

I check under Advanced options seem to allow everything. My TCP also seems ok.

Please let me know if there are solutions or messages to help me.

    Thank you

Hello. Maybe someone out there is having problems, I had.

I solved it, or so it seems.

It has not been easy. I almost pulled my hair thought of possible solutions.

Here is what seems to make the difference:

    Uninstall the google sync application.

Clear the address book app on dektop manager (you must save it 1)

Pull the battery (wait 30 seconds, replace the battery).

    Reinstall the application.

Remove the battery (wait 30 seconds, replace the battery)

Reset the permissions. (menu, click on delivery to zero permission options)

    Then manually select "allow".

Make sure everything is set to allow

Opening of session. I used my full @gmail address.

    Reset the permissions again.

Sync. Has worked for more than 3,000 contacts.

A took a while (a long time), but the synchronization succeeded

    We'll see if it holds.

I kept refreshing the desktop during the long initial synchronization manager to ensure that the contacts were added. Don't know why my 3600 contacts on Google, only 3520 synchronized on the BB.

I hope that no one falls by the frustration that I did.

    Good luck

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 2 weeks with BB 8310 & problems & learning will not disappear

    Hello

I bought my first BB (8310). It was about 12 days and the problems do not seem if go away (new rather keep popping up)... and new solutions keep help out me... (courtesy this forum)

This is an unlocked t mobile handset in which I use a GSM SIM. Instead of running around in circles, I'll just to the bottom of problems which are produce to the phone.

    a. I have upgraded the software for the device of 4.2.2 to 4.5.0.69 provided by T-Mobile Germany. Everything was fine, but the next day the phone reboot began between calls (3 - 4 times). My only relief was this forum where I learned that if you have a card inserted in the phone, should be reformatted. I did and thankfully he stopped restarting since

    b. now something new began to arise - there is a lag of phone.

    i. I use the theme today on the phone and when I want to block it, the hourglass appears. Then I scroll through the menu, the screen freezes and starts again some seconds (15-20) later... Is this a feature?

II. SMS Messages I deleted still show on the theme of the screen while they are not in the folder

    c. a large number of solutions around the BB were centered around the part of the memory. Is there a permanent solution at all (I mean, some optimized setting for BB 8310 - for example to keep only those programs and don't keep others)

    d. is there a simple way to view folders...

    e. There are several other things like...

Sincerely wish that there are solutions to these...

    1. I recommend that you upgrade to the latest OS for the 8310:

    http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-8300-Series-discussion-curve/164898-latest-OS-8310-4-5-0-152...

.69 was one isn't a good version, in my opinion.

    2. for memory problems, read this: http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-blackberry-discussion/112029-losing-call-logs-sms-emails-opt...

3 view the folders on your BB to Media > Menu > go.

  • BlackBerry 8310 Blackberry Smartphones, problem of backlight keyboard for 4.5 upgrade

I installed the between 4.5, things are working fine so far, except the keyboard backlight, it lights up in time, but most of the time it stays off in the night, she's a bitch! All settings have been verified and the phone was traded again by ATT, but the new phone they gave me the dose exactly the same thing, I'm sure it's a software problem, can anyone help?

    Mark

Well, after several calls to ATT and a few stops at the store, there was a new feature added that upgrade, that I didn't know and I really don't think very well received by anyone who deals with BlackBerry.

The small LED light at the top of your blackbeery now is how you turn on the keyboard light when it fires. It works most of the time, but I think it's a pain the * beep *. But who am I... Laughing out loud

So when its dark outside or you need the keyboard for you put your finger on the little light LED light at the top and the keyboard lights up.

I think everyone should say blackberry this new battery additional economy feature sucks.

It took me 3 weeks to get this figured out... Laughing out loud

  • Problems for Smartphones download blackBerry Desktop Manager for Blackberry 8310 software

My Blackberry user Tools CD is scratched so I downloaded the portable version 4.2.2 Desktop Manager to my new computer.   The download seems to work and it goes through the installation process, however, when I restart my computer, that program does not appear in my programs list or is an icon that appears on my desktop to initialize the Desktop Manager.   I can see the program when I go to my control panel and find the Add/Remove programs.  I can't find the program anywhere in a list of files that you want to initialize it.  I have removed the original program and have downloaded the 4.2.2 version several times with the same result.  I even tried a different version of the Destop Manager with the same result.  I tried to connect my phone to see if the computer would recognize my Blackberry and there he only recognized as an external storage device.  Please let know us if anyone has a work around to initialize program.
