  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '.   Based on your description, I would deduct low or weak signal from your mobile service provider.   Hello. I realize that there are a lot of topics explaining OE to upgrade these smartphones. However, none of them address the issue I am experiencing.

  I'm trying to upgrade Blackberry Curve my wife v4.2.2.181 (Platform 2.5.0.35) to the latest OS (v4.5.0.302).

  It's an O2 handset unlocked running on Vodafone UK.

  I run the Desktop v6 software. It recognizes the phone without problem, but will not accept that there is an upgrade available.

  I downloaded the new OS and deleted the file vendor.xml without success.

  The opening of the list of applications in the desktop software, it shows only three applications: Bloss (Status: mandatory); Bloss One Click (Status: mandatory); and Google Sync (Status: installed).

  To resolve this problem, could you please confirm the current location for your backups be saved? To do this, open BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac and click the BlackBerry Desktop Software option in the upper left corner next to the apple icon.
  Then select Preferences and change the location of the backup or the Reset button allows you to change the location in the Documents of your current user account folder. Then try to use the backup.
