  I made sure that I got everything updated on my Blackberry. Yet the problem persists. I'm on a package version 6.0 of Blackberry Torch 9800 695 (v6.0.0.246, platform 6.4.0.105). When I click "Software updates" under Options, I get: "your BlackBerry is up-to-date.

  Almost exactly 2 years from the date that I had my BlackBerry Curve 8300, my emails, call logs and messages from BlackBerry Messenger guard deleted without notice.  The BlackBerry then hold until I have the battery and I connect again. Can anyone help me idetify the problem and how can I solve this problem?

  Hi guys. I am new to the forum and I'll try to do this quickly. Since I installed the new BBM on my 9700 AT & T, it has a problem giving me my BBM. Sometimes it will not even make a sound alert, change the LED color or allow me to see the new message received unless I can get a glimpse into all my messages (e-mail, text SMS, MMS messages, etc.). Here is an example. I receive an alert by a BBM contact. I can see or see what they typed to me in all my messages, but once I try to view it by clicking on it, it won't be there. It will show only what I typed. So from there, I'll go into options in Blackberry Messenger and change any setting here that forces me to close by saving the new setting. Then when I go back to the message that I can't see, it will be displayed. I constantly have to do this just to show messages in my BBM contacts. Is there a setting that I've screwed up or y at - it something wrong with my Blackberry? I had to downgrade BBM was last updated and I don't want to do that, even when I don't have to.   First try a battery pull restarts, if it is still impossible to locate and remember it's not hidden, to check that the screen is in the Panel Home screen ALL > press the Menu key and select "Show all icons" or icon to display "." It will show all of the icons that were previously hidden. If you see BlackBerry Messenger icon like grayed then highlight it and press the Menu key and select the icon to display, also search your folders as the Application of Instant Messaging folder, etc..

  If it is still impossible, then try reinstalling the BBM, but first on your homescreen go to Options > device > application management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

  Once it is perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min, then reinsert back.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Messenger icon disappeared

  Initially, I had problems with the Messenger - when receiving or sending messages, the phone would freeze completely for awhile before I could see the message. I tried to upgrade the Messenger himself, but the download failed.

  I have connected to the Desktop Manager and tried to update the software to the place where http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/devices. But after restarting the computer and the phone, the Desktop Manager has reported there is no software update. When I did a reboot with the phone, the messenger icon has disappeared, replaced by a "Blackberry Messenger Update" which ended only with the failure of a transfer, but a page still appeared saying "Download Complete."

  The Messenger does not appear in a folder is not hidden and does not appear by pressing and holding the menu button. It is still listed under Options > Applications > Core like Blackberry Messenger 5.0.0 but with a calendar instead of the BBM icon icon. It cannot be deleted or moved away.

  When it is connected to the Desktop Manager again and under the Application Loader, the Messenger is not at all.
