  Sorry for the mixture to the top. It is under the common files, reasearch of movement, RIMdevice manager or AppLoader (I don't remember which folder). Anyway it must single .exe file and it is one that should be deleted. There is not any other .exe files in another folder. After that, I was able to connect to the Desktop Manager. I want my wife to use this case for his Bold 9780 but the magnet does not work by putting the camera in mode 'sleep'. Why is this? The case is a little big, but still fits well on the Bold 9780. Is the magnet misaligned a very little bit for the "BOLD"?

  I use an old case of leather case that has worked for my old Curve 8330, Bold 9780 and Torch 9800. So why not this new business. Y at - it something wrong with my case specifically, or if it is not designed to work for the "BOLD"?

  The placement of the magnet is different for different models of BBs. Some are interchangeable, the more I think are not. Therefore, it is always best to use a case that is made for the specific model of BB.

  All GSM network devices (BlackBerry, Android, etc) use SIM cards.

  Network CDMA devices don't use SIM cards.

  I upgraded by OS for my BB Bold 9930.  Once the software has been loaded, my BBM icon has disappeared.

  New to the forum and there seems to be a lot of information to absorb around here.  I searched for a while, without success, an answer to the following question:

  Any BlackBerry smartphones (Bold, Tour, Cure, etc.) send two contact person AND number via bluetooth caller ID info or just the phone number?

  I'm playing with a Gigaset One / XLink Bluetooth gateway for home phones and that the number is going on the wireless phone, even if the name is known and displayed on my phone.  The manufacturer said that not all phones will send the name even if it is stored.

  So, I'm trying to understand if the BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD" does not send name, gateway does not pass along or cordless phone is not read it.

  Any help or information relating to the identification of the appellant via bluetooth would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, it seems that only the BlackBerry phones send only the number and not the name when it comes to Bluetooth caller ID information.  Even if you have contacts stored in your phone, and it comes up with a name and a number, only the number will be sent to the Bluetooth device.

  I received an email from XLink, indicating as they do know that the MotoRokr and iPhone (no specified people) actually don't send name and number calling info ID via Bluetooth, but BlackBerry does not.  I would check this info before I bet on it if.

  So, if you plan to use a Bluetooth compatible device to read or make the ID information calling pass of your BlackBerry terminal (telephone wireless, hands-free system, etc.) certainly has enough space to hold all of your contacts that you will get only the Caller ID names for numbers stored in the terminal.

  In addition, you do not want to look for one who can read contacts via Bluetooth from your mobile/smartphone specific rather than spending hours entering all contacts by hand.

  My headache started when I bought a Gigaset One / Xlink Cellular Gateway and has not obtained the names of the caller ID on the AT & T wireless phone.  Many cordless phones have only a directory number 50 which is not sufficient.  This phone has replaced by TL92270 of AT & T that indicates it can match and 1500 charge contacts of 4 cell phones (Yes, 6000 in total).  That should be enough... :-)

  There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

  Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

  The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

  My 2 "BOLD" constantly of to net_rim_bb different errors as net_rim_bb_messaging_app and other such errors where it is said the process responds and asks me to terminate. Despite terminate a mistakes very soon many other errors like this show up. I was not able to solve this problem for over 5 hours now and I can't operate anything. Some time my phone connect even if I try to call it. Other times I am able to meet and talk. Its like my phone is partially frozen for missed calls, emails and other icons are the same for the last 5 hours, but sometimes I am able to access some applications however, I'm completely unable to exploit one of my apps and even open other files like e-mail, call log, messages, etc.. I tried reset soft and hard but not completely succeeded.  Please help me as soon as possible.   After that, it's an OS Reload try... but we're going to stay on it for the moment.
