BlackBerry Smartphones Can I have separate email/phone on bb8350i messages?

I have an 8350i, and after that I have set up my email all my e-mail appears on the screen of my mail and messages. Is it possible to keep them separated... the guy at the Sprint store he couldn't understand. What would be ideal is for messages to have just the phone and DC, e-mail for e-mail only, and sms/mms appear only there. Hope that makes sense. Thank you

No you cannot, by default, all emails will in the main message folder and the e-mail folder, but if you don't need these icons, you can hide the unwanted.

Go into the menu of the icon and press and hide.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not access my emails

    Hello

I had my BlackBerry for centuries, but today, this is the first time that I had this problem, I don't know if I re - defining something by accident.

Basically, I can't access my mails - the sign of star/asterisk appears in the menu to show that new messages have come (and I know that they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click on all email icons (the 'Messages' a general or two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to the text rather than messages messages.

    Help!

    Thank you

Chris, perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not receive my emails...

I had my phone smart blackberry 8330 configured to receive my emails when I got it. It worked very well, reception of e-mail and everything, then suddenly today I have received a few saying e-mail that I needed to update my password and I get emails before. I went to internet services and put to update the password that it has been a success. When I went to save my account information, he said something along the lines of my email account information is not valid and I still don't receive emails. If someone could help me understand what would be so awesome.

Nevermind, apparently just remove the one that would not be validated and just re-add the same email address are now allowing it to work.

You hear that see your icons of previous e-mail for each e-mail account individial on your BB homescreen?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I have out of several email addresses on one device?

I have a BB 8700 g (t-mobile), but I'm ready to upgrade/change of provider.  Device mgr software is ver 4.7. I have and intend to keep, NON-enterprise service.  I have now sent E-mail to the device of multiple e-mail addresses, but when you reply, the answers come out an email address only (business).

Is there any combination of device/software/service provider of BB that allows to choose the address of mail electronics outbound/return, with at least 2 possible addresses?  I am very interested to separate my business and personal e-mail responses.

    Thank you!

    JF

    I think I understand completely.

    1. you are on a personal account of BIS (whether enamel work, or who is not serious, just BIS).

    2. all BIS accounts include the ability to install and push TEN email addresses to a device.

    3. do not use "transfer" of your e-mail server for a single email address... it's like trying to carry chickens in a truck bed, it doesn't quite work.

    4. ALL these addresses you "passed" to an e-mail and pushed the need for BlackBerry to be individually Setup on your BIS account (see link above). You enter the email add and the pw, bam and fact.

As you configure the BRI account, you will see where you can set reply address, etc.

5 UNfoward all e-mails sent to the primary address one.

    6. you will get "Activated" messages for each e-mail account on the account of the BIS. After that, you can go to Options > advanced > default Services again and see them listed. As stated above, now set your default e-mail address to that favorite.

In Messages > Options > Email reconciliation (this migth be slightly different on your device, but the glance here), you can delete it and reconcile the options to delete messages from the server, etc..

You have the options to "send using the" now, the whole book of e-mail on the device. You can change them at will, in all cases, except to respond to an email as described previously.

This will help you need? This capability is available on all BlackBerry devices... your 8700 and new devices. If you have the 8700 now, you'd love it "BOLD", but I'm not here to sell devices

Interesting.  Try to set up a test gmail account and see if you can add that to your blackberry.  If this criterion into account work, then the question is between blueprint.org.uk and gmail

    You can also try this:

Go to this link from your phone: mobile.blackberry.com
On this page, scroll down to connect, click E-mail, select the type of e-mail account and Setup from there.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I have a blackberry and not pay for all the internet services?

Hi I'm new on this and my t-mobile phone that I broke and I looking to upgrade to something that will help me to stay a bit more organized, but are unwilling to pay for the service package that comes with the purchase of a blackberry from t-mobile. I know that I could get one on craigslist or ebay or something and I was wondering if I could just put in my Sim Card and it would have all the functions without the internet and emails. All I really want to the phone is easy navigation, good organizer, easily send SMS and calls. Thanks for the help! -Sully

Sully, Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Sorry, no. Without the BlackBerry data Plan, you will get very little data from the device functions... voice and SMS, Yes. Calendar, contacts, etc., Yes. No RIM push email.

You can use the Opera Mini browser for the internet with the setttings TCP active for a browser for free... just watch your billing and ensure that you are not charged.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can´t configured to email account on BlackBerry Curve 8520

    Hello

I have a BBerry Curve 8520 and when tried to configure email accounts (I don't have a business account), the only option I have is the company.

    I followed the steps

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/14928/Set_up_an_email_address_611669_11...

but on item 2) is the only option I have

I want to use a professional email with BlackBerry Enterprise Server account

    BlackBerry 8520

    V5.0.0.1036 (Bundle 1682) platform 5.2.0.104

Any suggestions or anyone have seen this before?

    Thanks in advance.

It could be... Please re-read the last paragraph of my previous post. Carriers can deliver all kinds of different combinations of services to their end users. Some deliver email and social networks only, others provide internet and email only and still others provide other blends of exclusive services BB. Therefore, only your mobile service provider can answer the question regarding this service plan you should and should not have access, because it depends on the specificity of the data that you have purchased from them.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not set up email

My buddy gave me his 8100 and I wiped the phone initially, but I still get emails and cannot set up my own. I tried to go into the configuration of messaging as a new user, but he said 'an account already exists for this PIN. So I called AT & T. They said that the original owner had to call. Thus, he called, twice and the first time he has someone who said he had no such thing as a deactivation of the account/pin code, and the second guy it just to wipe the phone, which of course got nothing.

Suggestions of the exact terminology my boyfriend, or I can use with these clowns? Thank you.

He asked probably the correct term.

AT & T must remove the existing PIN their BIS account. They should do immeidately for him, but you could call just ask nicely, that they don't need to do it for you, even if they have been known to.

You may need to explain that you bought the device used and the existing user no longer use, you need to activate the PIN code on YOUR account.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not remove 1 remaining phone journal - Call Log NOT updated entry

Hello. I have a Bold 9000. My phone call log is is more updated. I have 1 old handwriting on the paper that I can't remove.

I tried to spend too many Messages, display folder, phone call logs, but it comes back with "Eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException." I get the same message at boot to reset (drums),

Option / status / watch 50 MB of free file is not a memory problem.

It's very frustrating. If I can't sort out is there no way to uninstall & reinstall the software on the BB?

    Thanks, Altaf

    Hello.

I'm sorry I failed you early especially after taking the time to provide me with a solution.

First of all, I did what you asked and managed to clear the logs of the phone call (by selecting this line under databases) of advanced DTM. I was not sure if you meant that (historical clear calls) when you said "Click on the database on the RHS and click the Clear button" or that you wanted to say more.

I had to make 2 passes through it. The 1st time, it says that there are 20 entries in the log (I saw that one on my phone). After the clearer, I went back to my phone and the entrance was still there but a DTM Advanced phone log said there were 17 entries now. Then, I deleted the newspaper again and this time it was the desired effect!

I also removed the battery with the unit on. The message "Eception Java lang... "disappeared now.

I thank very you much for helping me.

From the moment wherever they gave me a BB "BOLD" of my company, I realized how good it was. It is simple and intuitive in use and much faster and without fault compared to many other PDA/Smartphones I've used. I liked it so much, I bought one for me!

    Best wishes

    Altaf

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can't find BES email desktop icon

    Hi all

I have set up five accounts on my first BB I bought a few weeks ago. I have icons for all BIS email accounts on my desktop, but I can't find an icon for my BES (by Rackspace) e-mail account. I think that this icon, if it is there, is called "Desktop". Initially, I realize that my work email did not have its own icon and e-mails to this show account only the "Messages" icon with all the other emails, sms, etc..

Then, yesterday, I was downloading of applications and reboot my BB and an icon for my BES email showed (has baptized "Desktop"). But he agains disappeared when I downloaded several apps and rebooted the phone. Now, I can not bring back the icon of the BES Office.

I tried to send service directories, but it didn't bring back the "Desktop" icon I browsed and clicked on virtually all things clickable on my BB, but couldn't find anything that would create this "Desktop" icon

Creates the BES email on the desktop icon that needs to be done when the account is set up, which was done between my computer and someone to Rackspace in my case? Or, is it possible for me now to create this icon?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

It is indeed there... the application Empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

I tried the free trial version, and it has worked great for me. But, before I had to pay, I convinced our BES admins to get the server solution as it comes free of charge, if it affects all users on this Server BES.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not remove two emails - HELP

I have a TOUR 9630 for about a year and was able to remove e-mail messages without problem... with the exception of two who will not erase!

I tried everything and I can't delete these two messages for some reason any... I tried to remove it from my laptop correctly, but they still appear on my 9630... can someone help me get rid of these two boring emails that just sit on my blackberry... look at me...

    Thank you

Hmm.... are they emails otherwise quite normal?
When you tap on Delete on one of them, what is happening... it asks you to confirm the deletion on the handheld or the server?

Did you restart the BlackBerry to see if that removes them?

  • My Blackberry 8520 blackBerry smartphones don't have an email

He said I must get BIS. I did everything I can as---> configuration--> configuration e-mail---> who wanted to work.
Then I did a registry now, when I got to the host routing table, but it still does not...
I have a tesco sim card and my blackberry is a curve 8520. Is there a way I can fix this issue with/without phoning tesco and with or without change of SIM...
    Thank you xox.

Of course, they can't give you an activation of the company, I said that you need to ask them for the BlackBerry BIS data Plan.

Believe me, they know what it is.

Yes, they have it on Pay as you go.

If you or they still don't know what to ask, say Tesco to designate their own website:
