  U put in place an email with the BlackBerry Internet Service account?  If you have, you must log into your BIS account and return service directories.  If you have not configured to send yet, you must create an BIS account and add your email address.  You should be able to set up BIS here http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/

  But if it's for BIS-based email, so with a strong carrier network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB...   2) Remove and return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)

  My blackberry has stopped receiving my emails to gmail.  My carrier is T-Mobile.  I did this thing Service books to return several times, but don't know what it is? I send Service books but so what? I'm not clear on the process of the SB.

  I have also made many battery grips, no luck.

  I turned off my connections, turns them off the phone completely for a few hours and then, still nothing.

  Finally a solution that worked! T-Mobile and the customer service unfortunately were not able to help, but research in Motion (RIM) my phone manufacturer has solved the problem of e-mail! Apparently, the old version of facebook causes conflicts with the receipt of emails.  You need to go into your Options, Options, advanced, then Applications, then click on Facebook.  Click the menu button, then select modules then scroll down your list until you see "net_rim_bb_facebook".  Beside that, you can see the version number.  You must have version 1.2.0.35

  If you have an earlier version, delete Facebook.  When you remove it, you will be asked to reboot your phone.  When you restart, the facebook icon will be the "desktop" of your phone.  Click on it, and it will take you to the site, so you can download the new version.

  Here's a way to add an e-mail account from your phone other than the use of your phone:

  1. connect to your T-mobile account (http://www.t-mobile.com/)

  2. go to connect and share and find and click configure e-mail

  3. click Set Up Email and add your e-mail account information

  I have the new Storm 9530 (Verizon) and have the latest version of the os installed via Nguyen. I can not even send emails via my BES. I wiped the new BB of the BES several times and I give up at this point. Our BES version is 4.1.4.15 and I don't think it should be initially to do because he fully identifies the phone as a 9530.   Return service directories usually does the trick.  What you need to do is then to call Vodafone and ask them to put your BIS.  Once they have done that, ask them to send you service on your phone directories.

  My next suggestion will be an OS reload so we'll see if reset them your BIS will solve the problem.

  About 1 year ago, I bought a blackberry curve 8320 on ebay in Germany. Now, I wanted to register with the BIS (at Vodafone in Germay) he tells me that the phone (PIN) is already registered with the BIS. I tried to use the 'send password' link with my PIN code, but it didn't work out (the website says the password is sent successfully, but it does not reach my cell phone). Aftre I asked customer support for VOdafone and they said that the phone is not registered with Vodafone.

  Is there a chance to delete or change the old account on my PIN code? While I can sign up and get my own BIS?

  Call Vodafone and ask for help from the RIM. They can release the account (now that they may or may not, but that's another issue). Anyone else still essentially have this class as their PIN on their account. Its going to take some doing, but you can achieve.
