BlackBerry smartphones can not send Bold 9900 photo to desktop via Bluetooth

Good day everyone!

I can't send photos of my new BB Bold 9900 at my desk, he kept saying "File transfer impossible to find the service". But I can send files, without any problem, from my office to my phone.

I am a new BlackBerry user, so I don't know if I have ", something wrong."

Thanks in advance!

Fixed a problem. Running OK now with my Mac. See you soon. I was able to fix by myself! (proud) Laughing out loud

    Hi mjbryan

U put in place an email with the BlackBerry Internet Service account?  If you have, you must log into your BIS account and return service directories.  If you have not configured to send yet, you must create an BIS account and add your email address.  You should be able to set up BIS here http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send messages or make phone calls

My BB torch worked fine earlier, but there is an hour, it just stopped.  He has connections and bars, until in the Connections window bit. I tried it turn on and off as well as to take out the battery after it's off to reset.  I tried to remove all of my old conversations in the phone as well. I can still connect to the internet on this topic very well.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not access Media card with BB Desktop or Media Sync 9700

The other day I received a Reburbed Bold 9700 update.

I use Ver 6 Deskstop OS and the 9700 is running device code latest version 5.

I have a Kingston 4 GB media card that I know is in place because the 9700 recognizes it and when I go to files and select the media card, I can see all the files on the card and when I take a picture it is written on the card so I know that memory is very good and he sees the 9700.

The problem I have is BB Deskstop or latest version of Media Sync to see so I can transfer files to and from my PC and the media card.

The error message that I receive on the two applications, it's that I have to turn on mass storage Mode.  When I look at my memory settings:

    Compression - enabled

Map of media Support - on

Mass Storage Mode Support - on

Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected - Yes

I formatted the card successfully on the BB.

I tried another card memory (2 GB) and also properly formatted as well.

I also tried another USB cable into another USB port.

I had a BB hard reset by pulling on the battery... several times.

I had another before Blackberrys and have never had a problem of access to the media card.  I would have thought that it is easier on the 9700.

I did search endlessly on the Web and saw other people with similar problems but many were so simple that the card is not seated properly and it also had the symptom that the BB is not recognizing the media card.  My BB recognize media cards and use them, but I can't access the card through my PC.  I understand that I may not see a pendrive pop up in Windows Explorer, but I can't understand why the BB Desktop or Media Sync cannot access.

I know that both of these applications communicate to the BB cause I get requests for passwords and the desktop, I can view all my applications and I used to update the device until the last OS level during the troubleshooting process.

I just wanted to see if anyone has experience this problem and has tips, if not I will contact AT & T or go into a local store to see if they can help.  I just think I'm missing something that I can take care off instead of my own.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Have you tried to connect the device on another computer?  If another computer to recognize the device, it may just be a case of bad USB drivers on your computer.

Here are some KB articles that may be able to help:

KB19717 - BlackBerry smartphone is not detected as a USB mass storage device when connected to a computer

KB10312 - impossible to display the map of support using the BlackBerry smartphone

You also need to remove the USB ports on your computer (using Device Manager), and then restart the computer to reload the correct drivers.

An alternative to this is to simply use a microSD card reader which allows you to use the microSD as a flash drive.

I hope that this info is another starting point for you!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send photos by e-mail or text

I rebooted, I pulled battery.  Nothing works.  Ordinary e-mail is fine but it will not send a photo, and when I select a photo in my library, there is no shipping option.

I've seen a lot of internet posts on this subject, but no solution.  If you have a solution, please email me or post here.

This has proved to be a simple problem... While seeing if I could send, I didn't have the TO: field filled.  To see a shipping option, you assign an e-mail address in the TO: field...

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send photos to FB

I used to always be able to take a picture, press the BB button, select share or send, select Facebook. But now when I do and select share or send, there is only the option of contact Email, MMS or Messengar. Not facebook.

I still have facebook on my phone. Didn't something on my phone again. He worked one day, and now it is not.

Does anyone know how to fix? Please help if you do. Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot.

In addition, you could try FaceBook removal and reinstallation.

Honestly, I gave up on FB photos direct download. Instead, I got my email address (from FB) personal upload and I now only send photos to FB via this e-mail rather than direct download. Much more flexible and more reliable, I found. For more, making e-mail makes a sort of background on the BB, which allows me to move to other things, then the sending of the email.

    Best!

    Hey Rudysusanto,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

When you send a BBM message, you receive a check or a clock icon or a red X?  Also can you send me a private message with your PIN so I can continue the investigation?

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send and receive E-Mails / BB Internet Service does not

    Hello

got a 9000 "BOLD" for Christmas and just move my Pearl 8100 via Switch Device Manager to 9000 "BOLD". One problem so far: although I copied all the data including my accounts of personal emails from the bead on the "BOLD", I can't send / receive E-Mails.

Just found that Blackberry Internet Services do not now. If I understand the manual, I have to activate the device. I just sent the message HRT, but is it enough?

In the email setup screen I just find the configuration of the company, not an option to set my personal E-mail-accounts.

    What should do?

    TIA

    Ralf

    Hello

OK, now it works. The "BOLD" had to be activated manually by my carrier; He didn t connect automatically as it should. Then I had to make several soft resets, changed the unit - so I needed another site (country), not that we mention here - and finally the "BOLD" connected to the Initernet - finally!

So, the BB seems to be a bit complicated; never encountered such problems using my Pearl. But in any case, now it works.

    Thanks for your support!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send e-mail

I can't send the email from my Bold 9870 but someone sent me an email and I was able to answer.
Whenever I have email, it displays a red X in the mail

The issue has not been resolved, but I just discovered a temporary way to send an email on my BB. What I do is add recipient th to the hidden copy that is BCC and I realized that the message is always delivered whenever I did.
But pls, always in search of a permanent solution to it. Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!

    Help, please!

Ah! It's another piece of the puzzle, indeed! Anything that might be useful that we do not know yet?

In any case, I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

If not, then you should certainly talk to ATT... It is quite possible that they are not completely passed your services with a BB to another...

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send SMS all showing pending

I composed a few SMS messages. After having worked very well until today, for some reason any, although a message can't send anything now. What I did / I forgot to do? Ive only had the phone for 4 days and have to say that I love him, but it's really annoying! Help! All of my connections are on and I'm currently at about one meter of my broadband connection!

Had had enough and took my phone shop Vodafone. They gave me a replacement SIM, after verifying that all my settings were correct. When they took my old SIM, they commented "oh, my dear, you have an old SIM you don't have it" [the story of my life!]. Inserted the replacement SIM card and went home. Found that I could get only SOS via the phone and SMS messages could not be sent to all them [rather than be left as "pending" as they were before]. Technical support phoned and nice lady spoke to me through the authentication of SIM [seems it didn't had not been 'authenticated' entirely by the store], turned phone off, removed and reinserted new SIM and switched back on. And that is, all flashed in life!

Now also supported top and syncronised my old palm PDA to the blackberry via Outlook - everything is going very well and now in market! Next problem - will not work quite how to transfer my documents/spreadsheets, but this is the problem of the future!
