  I just updated my OS on a Blackberry Curve 8520, and sice then, the SMS from my Blackberry Messenger contacts appear in the Blackberry Messenger too. I want to disable this feature. Help, please

  Open your BlackBerry Messenger application > press Menu > Options.

  Scroll down > Show Text Messages of Contacts associated with BlackBerry Contacts and uncheck this option.

  I removed the battery while the phone is turned on and put it back in... No help

  I went to options and made sure the mailbox was created to separate instead of the handset.

  Hmmm... First of ALL, make another software.  Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for about FIVE minutes and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  If it still fails, you will need to save and reload the operating system.

  First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

  Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

  1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  I just got my new camera 9700 "BOLD". I have implemented accounts my gmail and hotmail. Unfortunately, I can't receive mails from my hotmail on my phone even if they are not on my hotmail. This isn't the case of gmail, which seems to work well and push emails from my handset as soon as they arrive. Can someone please help me here?

  How long did you receive Hotmail messages on the device. Now Hotmail access email via POP so he asks e-mails mew ~ 15 minutes.

  Hello, I just signed up today. I have the Curve 9360 Apollo, I can't send BBM in the last 3 days, it only shows check without "D" or "R" and obviously my friend will not be the message.

  Here's the situation:

  -BBM Contact Status Update (recent updates) seems normal, I can see the updates.

  -I can receive all BBM sent me, PIN request work well this way.

  -I can browse the Internet

  -Push email working fine

  -No problem with Blackberry ID

  -J' have plenty of BIS data plan service provider, I think that's not service provider problem, because I can navigate, push email, updates work.

  The only thing that does not is that I can not send any BBM BBM contact.

  I tried to do this:

  -Pulling and reinsert the battery

  -reload OS, currently using BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.1647 (all languages)

  -Remove the maintenance book to remove entry

  -the reinstatement of host Routing Table, it is my host routing information;

  

  -Reset the device and use a different blackberry ID, but not luck

  My my device is connected to a server that is currently had problem BBM. I have another device, Bold 9790, with even the network carriers, normal work. Differences is given in the IP/Port host routing information. My "BOLD" has (or connected to (?)) IP/Port 206.51.26.192:18815:18810 in the meantime my abnormal Curve 9360 has IP as shown on the screenshot above.

  Then, someone at - there have any idea?

  OK, finally I managed to make it work.
  Today I decided to use the SIM card from another provider of services, AXIS Indonesia in my case, after changing, I get gateway IP diferent and normal BBM work, then I go to previous service provider (IND - XL) and ask them to change my smart SIM card and bam! I got new gateway IP pretty much the same thing as the gateway ip of my bold work 9790. Here my new host routing information:

• BlackBerry smartphones can not reconcile messages when Sync

  I can't get my brand new Blackberry Curve 8330 and Outlook to reconcile messages when I sync.  Everything else (tasks, calendar, Contacts, etc) synchronize but not my e-mail messages.  As a test, I used my Blackberry to send an e-mail to test one of my e-mail addresses to another.  I received the message on my Blackberry and removed.  When I got home I connected my Blackberry on my computer and synchronized, but the message was always in my Outlook Inbox (in other words, that it had not been deleted), and there was no message sent in the sent box.

  Setting my Blackberry e-mail indicates Wireless reconcile as 'On '.  The problem is maybe that my home office is in a dead zone.  But if my Blackberry is connected to my computer, why should this serious?

  When I go to Desktop Manager and click Synchornize, "Balancing the Messages" box does not seem to be verified, but the program won't let me check it out.  Can someone help me?

  Go to options advanced options, host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT CLICK on any list.
  Press the menu key and select sign up now.
  You will receive a verification email. Then go to email settings and send service directories.
  Some models like the Curve 8330 and Pearl require connecting carriers BIS site
  via a PC. You will receive an email by account. a test to see if the problem is resolved.

  If you do not know the site of BS of carriers, send me the name of carriers.

• Symbol blackBerry Smartphones without screen SMS messages

  My Blackberry Pearl 8120 has no symbol screen for SMS messages and so whenever I get a new message, it goes into the pot in general my 2 email accounts and I review all the messages to see. It has always been like this and I thought it would be OK, but it really starts to bother now. Do I need to download something or get an update? How can I do this?

  You can separate TEXT Messages and e-mail inboxes by opening your Inbox. Click on the BB button and select Options. And then select General Options, down in the list of parameters is SMS and e-mail accounts - set it to separate.

  That should fix it for you.

  My BB torch worked fine earlier, but there is an hour, it just stopped.  He has connections and bars, until in the Connections window bit. I tried it turn on and off as well as to take out the battery after it's off to reset.  I tried to remove all of my old conversations in the phone as well. I can still connect to the internet on this topic very well.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

  (2) remove and return Service directories

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

  I'm new to BlackBerry since my wife bought me a 9000 for Christmas. According to me, the phone has been unlocked in the O2 network and I am currently on vodaphone talk.    The problem is, I can't receive MMS messages. I talked to vodaphone and they said I need to contact RIM to solve, but I was hoping that one of you, friendly people here may be able to help me. Whenever I am sent a MMS it says 'could not retrieve the content of the message, try again later' but I've never been able to recover one.are it all the settings on the phone that I have to change? or is it because I'm on talk and I need to be on a contract? also, I can't connect to the internet with the browser, while the comings and goings, I could previously through my old phone on Vodafone talk. I can get on the net via my LAN wireless at home, but it's not really useful as there are two computers and an ipod touch should I have to go.

  Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

  You need to get the data messages MMS, browser internet and much more.

  Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

  A lot of times when I text messaging, send long text messages. It's so boring when I typed more than 160 characters allowed in a text/SMS message and then I send that one and open another text/SMS message to continue. Also, it becomes inconvenient for the reader when it takes... the second message to be typed and come out after that that they have completed the first reading.

  I know that blackberry users who have not encountered this problem. Is it possible to modify the authorized amount of characters to type in a text/SMS message?

  Open your main messages folder > press the Menu key > Options > Inbox settings > and set the SMS there to go to its own folder.

• BlackBerry Smartphones shipper receiver postmaster message - not delivered on my handheld

  Hello, I recently canceled my blackberry phone, and I'm syncing my @me.com email with mobile e-mail account @mobileemail.vodafone.com.au. All of you who sent me an email to my account @me.com receive an email back saying that I him have not received on my BlackBerry smart phone. I checked my settings in @me.com and it is not transmitted from there and I can't log on to the site of BIS carriers due to the cancellation (and I forgot the password) I called the carrier yesterday and they said that it was still active and they have deleted the account.  Its been 12 hours since then, should I wait more or is there another simple solution, I forgot?  I sent a test email and he received again.

  OK thanks... a few things...

  (1) I hope that none of these email addresses are valid... no personal information needs to be posted in these public forums under the guidance of the team of specialists. If one is valid, I recommend carefully edit your previous post (click on 'Options' drop down) and disinfect all e-mail addresses (showing the field is fine, but the address before the @ must disinfect)... and there are many many entries who.

  (2) what I see here, it seems that your @me.com continues to transmit to @mobileemail.vodafone.com.au. I know that check you your settings, but I'm sure that something remains. You may need to get the mail server admin (@me.com) involved to find.

  There is an option in the SMS options to 'leave Messages on SIM card' - uncheck the box this and the memory of the device must have enough space to contain a few thousand messages - while the SIM card is limited to 20 or more.
