BlackBerry Smartphones customization of the screen before (office)

I want to choose the icon / applications I want on the desktop.  At this time I chose a theme and it selects 4.  How to pre-select those I want.

Thank you very much.

How I change this icons on my "home screen" is quite simple. From the home screen, press the applications/BB. Can I move the icons I want to appear on the home screen for the top positions on the screen of the app. For example if I want that my folder Messages clock radio, Viigo and compose the message on the desktop icons, I do the first icons on the screen of the application, i.e. the top row of most.

O O O O O

O O O O O

X being the programs I want on my main screen.

I hope that this is the question you asked. If not, uh, sorry! =)

& move the awakening to the screen

    See you soon

Press menu to show all icons and folders.

Select the icon of the clock - press the menu button - move to the top row

  • Shortcuts of the blackBerry Smartphones customization on the homescreen on the 8230?

I just got a new Pearl flip 8230 a few days ago. Love it, but one thing bothers me a bit. On the home/main screen, with 5 shortcuts at the bottom, I can't find a way to customize them. My old cheap gift flip previously had this ability, so you can't tell me that this phone rich in features, nicer don't. Right now the shortcuts are for messages, my two email accounts, address book and calendar. Is there a way I can change these shortcuts to my taste? I've looked throughout this manual and did a quick search online and on these forums and found nothing.

I would greatly appreciate advice or tips.

    Yes.

Click the menu button to go to the screen icons of complete applications. If you find that the top line there is a line on the home screen?

Find the icon you want to move to the top, highlight it (do not click), press Menu > move and then scroll to the place on the first line where you want the icon, and then click.

There you go... so, no, I can't tell you that this feature rich functionality is not the same as your old flip.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how lock the screen during a call?

Is it possible, a third-party application perhaps, to lock the screen on my Storm during a phone call? Sometimes I have to Secretary for a while and cradle of the phone on my shoulder. During these times, I either end up the person I'm talking inhibition or try to dial a number at random my contacts inadvertently. I've heard from a third-party application that is supposed to lock the screen during calls, and I'm willing to bend on this if someone can make me pointed in the right direction, however, I would like to know if there is a setting on the phone itself which can be manipulated to prevent face composition.

In advance, thank you to all who replied.

    SH

Absolutely, see TalkLock or StormLock to this end, both work very well.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones have off the screen when you're talking about?

Is there a way to turn the screen off when I talk on the handset? It seems like a lot of often when I talk about the handset, my face pushed the screen and he does something such as speaker switching.  Thank you very much for the help.

It is not a default application.  How I install it is I went to http://www.cellavant.com/TalkLock/ and entered my e-mail address.  Then I followed the instructions in the email

  • Phone of blackBerry Smartphones turns after the screen freeze

Hey, I got my BB about 2 days ago. It worked fine for about half a day after being fully charged, but while using it, the screen froze. The power button has not been at this point operation so I removed the battery.

After putting the battery, the phone now won't turn back on. The red LED is not at all sure, the device is not recognized by USB, im quite stuck. Is that what I can do or should I return it for a replacement?

    Thank you

It seems that you have tried everything, from a point of view of the user. A new device should not cause this error and immediate replacement is recommended.

  • Numbers of blackBerry Smartphones by pressing the screen when he's on call

Hello! I have a BB Torch, and this is my first, so I'll probably do a stupid question.

Whenever I'm on a phone call I accidentally press some buttons (silence, speaker, numbers...).

This one on time that I did something really weird as put keep the person I was talking to and asking at the same time. While he was on hold but to talk too.

I read somewhere it was because of the LED and detectors, but I really need to make this decision because it's boring realling and me to spend too much money.

How can I block the screen when I'm on call? But still access to the phone when I need to? (Like checking a certain number or more)

    Thank you.

You can get a lock screen app for calls, which detects the phone call in action and lock screen automatically.

Check the AppWorld or mobihand.com for a search.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones work around the Director of office for Mac

    OK-

I found a solution for now. All synchronized for me EXCEPT for iCal. The software crashes when you try and use the advanced settings and check "Sync: all events"I could synchronize only 'future events', but this means that everything that happened has been left out. " SO my difficulty has been obtained to option 3 in the settings advanced and select it. I put it: 999 days before and 0 days events only after (because I had already synced only "future events") has completed the synchronization and my BB has now all the events of 999 days before today.

You cannot add that several days b/c the software will only 3 digits. If you are starting with a clean bb, I would set this option to 999 days prior and 999 days after

It always seems to hang on when "All events" is checked so I'm going with ' only prior event 999 days and 999 days after. "

    Until they understand this!

... and he even looked as if he could work the first time I tried it.

But it was with the "replace all the events calendar on the Blackberry device" unchecked. After I received the message that "more than 25%" of my entries iCal would be modified or lost, I decided not to go forward.

Then I checked the button "Replace all the calendar events" and tried again. It hung as usual.

Then, I tried unchecking the box, and he still hung.

So, I'm at square one. And using google to update my calendar.

I was perfectly happy before Missing Sync. I wish that I did take the trouble to install DTM, as I now have to use the detour to update my Blackberry via Google.

  • The day's events all blackBerry Smartphones will appear one day before in calendar

Each of the events of daily created/modified in MS Outlook appears one day before in BB calendar.

Phone model STV100-3, Adnroid is 6.0.1 patch level Android June 1, 2016. Messaging hosted in Office 365.

Whenever such event created/modified on Blackberry itself, it is synchronized correctly in Outlook.

Zones marked in Blackberry settings, settings of the calendar, PC settings, Office 365, they all have corresponding (EDT GMT-4).

Installed all the updates available in the past week, and it did not help.

Is this a bug in the calendar Blackberry application?

According to the Blackberry support, the question is about the end of Microsoft (Office 365?) then we open the ticket with Microsoft.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones stuck on the home screen

The system seems to be stuck on the "Home Screen" (the screen with the background image). You can hold down the blackberry button and it will bring up a menu where I can read my email and make calls (the trackball works here), but I can't choose anything on the home screen or the great list of icons.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones stuck on the loading screen

Hoping someone can help me solve this problem.  When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700), you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone does... I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stalls.  I tried to take out the battery for a few minutes and then put everything back with no luck... screen charge again that about 3/4 of the way.  Any idea why this might happen & how do I fix this?  Thank you!!!

If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "timer" in the middle of the screen, battery drain, slow, etc...

I've been running OS 6 (service pack 1879 was a leaked version) absolutely smoothly on my Bold 9700 for several months and in the last days my phone has simply becomes unnecessary.  (I'm on Orange UK)

Need AAAAAGES nothing to do, the timer is always on the screen, it warms up and the battery lasts a few hours.  It started overheating yesterday and it is constantly "work" even when doing nothing.  It takes like 2 minutes to get the screen of my password and then another minute to typing to thre, etc. etc...

    I tried the things:

    clear the event log

    disabling memory compression

    battery grips

removing applications, I use often (I only use Facebook and Facebook, both have feeds update 1 hour value or never)

    deletion of messages/music/photos

updated desktop software and to return to a return to the top 2 weeks ago, when it worked fine

Disabling the automatic connections 'hot spots' on the wifi...

and nothing seems to fix... I'm ready to cry in frustration.

I have never use flashing light or vibrate... I also pretty much only use BBM during my work day (no calls) and my battery normally lasts well over a day.

This upward as there should be a few SLEEP update coming, but or desktop software or updated offfer wireless anything...

Should I stay if I can't find an official release?

or try to re - install OS6?

    Thank you...

    I figured out it's a memory leak...

I've been using an unoffical OS6 for centuries, but the other night I downgraded to obtained OS5 OS6 official UK Blackberry out and re-installed and it works like a dream.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones stuck on the connect to PC screen

Everything I wanted to do was to buy a small app to follow my sugar levels in the blood. To do this, I had to install a plugin, which I don't understand and then some software in app world I don't understand not. None of my previous BlackBerry connections would work on app world, so I had to register again. Something was downloaded to my phone, what changed my wallpaper (of all things), and I don't understand that either. I can't find anything to say to me "How App World Work".

When I try to purchase the application, I get a login screen. I get my user name and password, and the screen only refreshes and stays there. No error message, nothing. I tried to clear my cache.

So I came on the support forum. To post here, I had to register AGAIN (how many times do I have to register for BB?) and finally I can get here to ask a question.

Sometimes, being a BlackBerry user is a very difficult job.

So, how I buy my little app? Why is it SO difficult? I don't remember having no problem at all to get Facebook or Twitter.

I have a 9700 running 5.0.0.59 3 (I installed the later versions of o/s that has several functions completely broken, so back to this stable version. I'm in the United Kingdom.

    Thank you

    Debby

As I said, I understand that you tried to help him. AppWorld has not worked for me, and I deleted from my Blackberry.

    Thank you.
