  The shortcut bar on my home screen showing my icons disappeared, replaced by just an arrow pointing up that I have to click on for all the icons.  How can I get my icons to reappear on my home screen?

  Reset is a temporary solution.  This is a permanent solution.  Put your finger on the arrow and drag it upwards as far as possible.  Now, whenever you turn on your phone, the display will show that a large number of icons.  If, for any reason, you want to that less icons (like maybe only eight or twelve years), only to drag the arrow upwards as far as it takes to display the desired number of the icons.  It will then be the number that appears when you turn on your phone.

  I got my new torch only a few days ago and I already seem to have problems.

  The first is my inability to change the function of the convenience key. I go into options to change it, but when I click on the icon to change the screen seems to be to try to navigate to another screen, but then instantly flashes back to the options screen.

  If you mean the Convience buttons. Yes you can.

  I changed my left button to open the media player.

  Options-online screen/keyboard - then scroll down to the section Convience key. HI-lite the one you want, press the trackball and a menu opens, listing all the applications.

Is it possible that with one or two clicks, I start recording with the recorder of the word, or go directly to any other application that I choose?

  Well the only thing I could think is go to options and select screen/keyboard and time, you can put the recording of the voice as a shortcut on the physical hardware button on the right or left side

• Cannot remove the shortcut from the App World for blackBerry Smartphones

  I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 and install Blackberry App World yesterday. I decided to remove it, so I went to the Options > Advanced Options > Applications, highlighted and selected delete. Then I rebooted my Blackberry as he asked, saying that the app would disappear.   Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside.   Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.

Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use.   I have a Blackberry Curve 9360 and it is frozen all by doing an update of the software (progress overall backup 13%).  It has been like that for the last two hours.  I tried to take out the battery, but it just goes back to the same screen when it restarts.

  Two options to try:

  One:

  • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
  • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
  • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

  Second:

  • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.

  • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
  • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.
