  Missed calls can be removed from your list of messages, if you want to. From the home screen, press the green call button, press the menu/blackberry button and click 'options '. Go to "Call logging" and set it to 'none '. That will remove the missed calls from the message list, but not your call logs.

  Blackberry question, why don't have an application like Viber or Skype where users who have blackberry as 9900 or the 9860 in which the two phones have front camera could Skype call or an application like viber in the blackberry users can call on voip... it is a reall fall in expected an app for blackberry for almost a year rang also edge to do something about IT... most users go for iphone so because of these two applications that maintains the connected in time video reall... enjoy some answer on this...

  It is perhaps a question better directed to Skype and not HERE in the forums.  Skype has an application for BlackBerry, but it is only available to U.S. subscribers using Verizon.  (This information can be updated to date, it's updated information I have.)  Given that these forums are composed (not the right choice of words) of volunteers who love BlackBerry phones and not by RIM developers, your chances of getting the answer you are looking for may be thin.

  Great idea on the button on the headset. The only other way that I can think of is to change the settings on the phone and activate the device end the call when it is placed in the case.

  A dial contacts hands is easy.  Theres a shortcut.

  If you press the Send button storm Green will go to dial (as the installer of the factory) pad.

  If you press and hold the Green send button, storm will got to the contact page.  Then take your finger and the sweep of the screen from the bottom to the top and the keyboard will go up.  Then just type the name you want and contact will go up.

  Actually using this technique is very nice and can be done with strikes a minimum!

  I am very new to the BlackBerry platform and just start getting used to my new Pearl 8130.  When I miss a call, it says that I have a missed call, but for the life of me, I can't find a way to see who has call I missed. In the call log, it shows a box where I can enter numbers to call, and from there I can also access the calls I placed. I'm sure that there is an incredibly easy solution to my dilemma I'm simply dominating, but can someone help me here?

  to start, go to your phone app: phone app-> blackberry button (left side of the trackball)-> call logging-> make sure you all calls is selected.  see if this fixes your problem, if not, made me know and we'll see if my technical team can come up with solutions.

  I just bought and used the torch 9800 for a week. Great phone, the new operating system but one thing that frustrates me really love and it happened with the bold 9700, but now it's even more frustrating.

  After putting the phone in my Pocket everything locked by pressing the left top button, bringing the back phone shows all the random jibberish that I could press as it has been unlocked.

  the lock button is even worse than the 9700 much too sensitive.

  Okay, fine, so I'll use the passcode lock feature. However, I am still more wary and scared in this mode, because there is an emergency button and I wouldn't see firemen or police send me business.

  Are there ways around that? use the lock button to lock, but when unlocking, you woulnd't need a coup or something not too picky to unlock the phone.

  I don't want to make random calls or messages or calling the police when he is not totally expected. I love my pocket and I want my torch to stay there safely.

  Instead of factory reset try to reload the software of your device.

  NOTE: back up your device first.

  1. go on google on the field type in (blackberry software update (the name of your operator))

  2. download the software for the device

  3. install on your computer.

  4. Once installed plug in your device to the computer (without the battery)

  5. go to computer / driver C / program files (x 86) / Common files / research in motion / application loader / LOADER

  6. click on LOADER and follow the prompt.

  7. it will take time to recognize your PIN or your device. Just continue clicking NEXT until it pass.

  8. after that it will inspire you by selecting your language, then a page with "finish or close" is displayed just click on one of them for the process to move forward.

  9. a loading bar will appear. When you receive an error message that says something like "cannot detect the device.

  It's time for step 10.

  10 replace the battery
  and click on 'Retry '.

  A parent showed me how Tango works on his phone.  I want this app, but it is not available for the torch.  Does anyone know of another application?  I like the Tango!

  Any phone that supports video calls would have a front and a rear facing camera.  Currently, no BlackBerry phone does include such a feature, so I guess that none will support video calling.

  I have the following problem and hope someone can help me with it:

  • Since yesterday my phone don't make me call or receive calls. In both cases, I get a "call failed". I see a connection activity in the upper right corner in both cases.
  • I use a prepaid card of Fonic/O2 where I can ask my balance by "call" * # 101. Normally it takes a few seconds to get the balance, now it takes much more time. Now, often even, I don't get my balance, but a "supplementary service error: General error:
  • I am still able to send text messages (but there was also a message that could not be sent).

  My phone sometimes called random numbers in my contacts list.  Phone is turned on but not keys, phone calls just a number... Usually, it's my dad and MOM... come on has understand... but is that sometimes when I go in and out of coverage areas, my phone will just my number of parents.  I know that I have great parents... even my phone love em.  This happen to anyone else?

  If I keep my phone in my front pocket (I wear rub) my phone call my son. I'll suddenly hear "Hello, help, I'm in your pocket, let me out."  And I look, and of course, I called my eldest son!  My keys are apparently sensitive, so I try to remember to press the button on the top that will put the phone in sleep mode. By allowing for the call and coming messages but prevents me to call my son in my Pocket!
