• BlackBerry Smartphones having problem using BB Tour with Mobile 3 Australia network. Help please

  The problem I have with my BB Tour is I can't make call, retriving phone number (example: 0401010134) of my directory which is free on all names country code. The message that I received from operator was "" the number you dialed could not be connected, please check and try again ", however if I manually dial the same number (example: 0401010134 ) without referring to the phone book, the call has been thru without problem, but of course I don't want to deal each phone number whenever I need to make a call because I paid an amout of $ for a gadget" technology advanced.

  Then I discovered that if I change all the phone number in the phone book with a country code (for example: + 61401010134 ), the problem is solved (temporary), I can make a call, retriving the directory phone number now, but when the same person called, their name does not appear on the screen because the recognized only mobile phone the mobile number that only with the country code at the beginning of the phone number which will not not a local call. Because the mobile phone is not recognized without the country code phone number, so I guess that the camera cannot associate name stored in the directory so I think it's the reason that the name will not appear in the display of the number.

   

  To overcome this problem, I found a key solution - in 2 same with and without country code phone number in the same name (for example: John WORK: 0401010134 / WORK 2: + 61401010134 ), but another problem. The ringing will be the default value no matter how adjust ringtone custom in the Setup folder because the mobile phone detects the duplicate phone number (I guess!, can someone enlighten me please ~ ~).

  It's so frustrating, does anyone have the solution for this?

  1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
  Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
  * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

  2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.

  I got a Blackberry Curve 9360 during about 3 weeks now and until a few days ago had no problems wih it. The problem is with applications such as Blackberry App World, BBM and Facebook. When I try and BB app world it says open "finds it difficult to connect to the server Blackberry App World. Check your network connections, and then try again. "On Facebook, he said"we cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later. (100)' and when I try and send a BBM it has a red X next to him immediately.   There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

  Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

  I'm guessing that you mean that you are the only emergency service. I would have again assumed SIM card problem before the problem of the OS.

  Hello, I own a BlackBerry Curve 9300 with OS 6. Everything worked very well with the device, no problem at all, but suddenly a few days ago my camera got off while the battery was still 80% charged, when I plugged in the charger, something strange happened.   Thanks for the additional info. I had a similar problem with my 9300, I first noticed when the charger/usb cord has been connected to the phone there was the game in mind. When I plugged in the laptop connection would constantly go in and out. After closer inspection, remove the case, I noticed a couple of tiny pins that attach to the female usb port / phone card were corroded making little or no contact. He broke finally all together and cost £25 to fix.

  To eliminate or confirm this as your problem, before you take your BB out there are a few things you could try.

  (1) connect it to a laptop or PC via a usb port. Through your control panel (on PC) to a value of 2 different alert sounds, 1 to connect a device and 1 to disconnect a device to the computer and see if it is down on its own.

  (2) If you have one, use a universal plug in battery charger. Remove the battery and charge it regardless of your BB. When / if she perceives a pop back in and see what that charge there.

  Hello world. I just fixed this problem. You need wipe your phone and as soon as its reset back, start the update on the Desktop Manager with the handheld is connected.   I use Blacberry Curve 9300, couple days ago I couldn't send all messages through my blackberry messaging, then I checked the blackberry app world and noticed that there is an update for my blackberry (OS 7 v.7.0.0.126) messenger, so I thought that the problem was because I needed to update my blackberry Messenger , and then I have updated.

  At first it was OK, I had no problem, then as of last night, I could not deliver all messages at all (it was just Checklist), but I could received a message that was sent by my contacts and groups, also, I could see the latest updates. The only problem is that I couldn't send messages to any contact. At first it was because of my provider (IND TELKOMSEL), but some of my friends who use the same ISP is so very well.

  Because of the OS 7 I have installed? No idea how to fix? Or I can the downgrade in the last suitable OS 6?

  Usually these updates are pushed to our carrier, but no BlackBerry World, but still I don't think she'll push for BlackBerry® Curve 9300 OS7, please try these simple steps and downgrade your device to OS6 OS7:

  3. download and install the latest version of BlackBerry desktop by BlackBerry desktop software software

  • Then using software office perform your full backup of your device.

  4. search your drive C: Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml , on the change of your PC your records option to show the hidden files/folders, ( you can skip this step if you are using your carrier OS Pack ):

  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
  • C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research in Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

  5. use BBSAK from http://bbsak.org/ and wipe the unit then after you get the error 507 (without OS), then proceed to the next step.

  6. Finally, go into C:\Program Files Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For Vista or Windows 7 64-bit, the path will be C: > Program Files x 86 > common files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double-click on Loader.exe.
