BlackBerry Smartphones including 4.7 Office Director in charge of bottom?

Hello

I think I can now move my software to 4.5, if I can understand what Desk manager up and down the load. If anyone can help with this?

Thank you

Hello

I second that emotion!

Here's how to move files (or data) media files to and from your PC.

You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the settings under options/media card media card.
Card support ON

NONE encryption mode

Media transfer protocol WE

WE support mass storage

Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

  • Curve of blackBerry Smartphones not recognized by Office Manager

I am running Windows XP and using a Curve 8330.  Initially, I installed and has been successfully using the version 4.7 of the Desktop Manager via a USB port.  About two weeks ago, when I plugged in the curved Office Manager said that it was not connected.  I searched this site and tried the suggested corrections.  I did a hard reset on the device.  I did a clean uninstall of the software repeatedly.  I reinstalled the version 4.7 and tried to connect the spirit without success.   I installed version 5.0 and tried to connect without success.

I noticed that many suggestions listed in this forum indicate by clicking on items in the Desktop Manager that are non-existent in all versions that I downloaded and installed.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.  It's maddening!

    Kelbethor,

Could you please provide more details so I can try your solution?

    V,

I have no idea what JL_Cmdr or BBSAK exists so I don't know where to go with your comments.

In both cases Desktop Manager does not always communicate with the Blackberry.  I did a clean uninstall and reinstall DM 5.0.  I did a hard reset on the BB and I still can't get it to work.

When I look in device "Ports (COM & LPT)" Manager "RIM Virtual Serial Port (COM4) v2)" and "RIM Virtual Serial Port v2 (COM5)).

When I look at Bus USB controllers I see those who seem to be associated with the RIM.  There are 3 Intel USB Universal Host Controllers, 4 USB Root Hub, a generic USB hub and an Intel 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums,

Although the installation is quite simple, if you are installing on a PC in a network,

It is a good idea to have your IT Department to install. They can determine the best installation

with regard to their specific network installation.

I left the links to download the software and USB drivers correct as well as the manual

    and the installation procedure.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones communicating with an office with an autoresponder

When I call an office equipped with an autoresponder, but I do not know the extension of the person I call, often I gives me the possibility of spelling his name. If I try one of the letters that do not have a number, nothing happens. How can I to entry, for example, a "T" or an "H", neither of which have numbers than the "ALT"?

Well Yes. You have got it. Makes me think that one of the nice things about the storm is that the keyboard can change based on the need - when I'm in the app phone, I get a phone keyboard with numbers and letters! I had sort of forgotten which, with hard-keyboard BB, which is perhaps not so easy. See you soon!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get office to show PC :(

Hi - I have just "upgraded" my previous BB of the wider style to the 7130v and now trying to configure the desktop software so I can transfer ringtones to it.   I downloaded the folder from the site of the provider phone (Vodafone) and it seems to work very well, but he finally did to install the software on the phone itself - I've never had any icon or folder on my PC to run the desktop component.  There was a load of files that have different versions, but not info on which one I should be uploading, so I assume I have need of one of them, but none whose idea.   The site is at: Vodafone Blackberry: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=1141938BA2C2B13F5505D7C424EBAE5F

Can someone point me in the right direction for the right software perhaps?   Thank you.

  • BlackBerry smartphone address book Sync & office 6

    HI all -

I'm trying to synchronize the data in the address book out of Outlook 2007 my boss for a Blackberry Pearl 8130 it sync with Desktop Sotware V 6.0.1.18. It is currently running Windows 7 Hm Prem 64 Bit.

The BB Pearl is a phone just now (no data connection) when he wants to transfer the address book for the use of the telephone directory.

I downloaded its address book of its Outlook to a CSV file & tried to do a sync 1 way to the BlackBerry device. He already has another BB curve which is sync would be its prospects & we also have a serivce Hosted Exchange configured to its Outlook & BB curve.

The software I tried to go through the option synchronize data, but it gives me error messages or think I need to select the data to be transferred, under the Organizer/configure parameters.

Is there a bug in this new DS software?

    Thank you

    Rob

For those interested - I have solved my problem.

I end up installing the software of BB DM 6.0 on my PC (Win Xp Pro SP3) & taking the battery out of the BB Pearl for a few minutes.

I tried to start the synchronization & initially got the Intellisyc error # (0 x 80040057) when you try to import an Outlook PST file.

I've deleted the Intellisync my tried & hard drive folder, but got the same error code. I then tried to import again, but from a CSV file. This has worked but noticed some data missing. I checked the field mapping & noticed some fields that the ASCII importer expected was different from the CSV file. I've renamed some of the fields in the CSV file & data transfer worked well!

Don't know if some of the questions I had initially with the BB DM 6.0 on the laptop of my boss was that it was running Windows 7 64 Bit, or I need to make a difficult start of the BB Pearl by removing the battery...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones made Torch 2 requires a special charger?

I have several smartphones in my family, and each of them, including the Iphone, Moto Atrix, Samsung Galaxy 2 and even a phone txt LC can share the same charger. It's very convenient for us. However, I tried using different Chargers with my BB Torch 9810 and I still get the same message on the device could not be charged.

I can't believe that the BB have designed the torch for use only with their own charger. Is this correct or it is only a problem on my device? If someone experienced the same?

  • Strange problem BIS of blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I have a bb torch that has been saved to my former network uk, I got the orange uk/bis registered torch (and double checked), anyway I live in Spain and have signed a unique contract sim blackberry now. I wiped the fone, jumped out of the sim card in and let it boot. I got the message "your device is now registered with the wireless network" and the 3G is in capitals with the bb icon, but I can't use anything. And when I go in the State, he told me that I am not connected to the BIS, which is strange, I got the bb next to the signal issued. If I open the e-mail Setup Wizard, it tells me that I am not connected and request password of bes etc..

I can't return the directories of service cos I can't connect!

    Can anyone help?

Hello and welcome to the community!

It is always difficult to get a BB to work on another network. I'll assume that your level voice services work very well... otherwise which may indicate you need to unlock your BB from its original support.

It is possible that Orange is not completely unregister the BIS account. Sometimes you can run on another carrier still using your old BIS carriers for a short period... to catch up and completely remove account. In any case, it's the service books of your new provider you need.

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If your new carrier natively your model of BB, that would put the SBs downwards. (Note that, in this KB, there are several methods to ask the SBs, including talking to your carrier and making them push).

If, however, your BB model is not supported by your operator, then they can have the ability to push the Service books on you... much only push for accurate BB models they support. If this is the case, then you'll have very delicate things to do in order to get it to work fully on that carrier... is feasible, but it is quite difficult.

So I suggest, you make the foregoing and keep working with your new carrier to try to get this resolved. You'll have to maybe talk to Orange once again just to be sure... you new carrier should know very soon... a BB PIN can have that one in the world, your new carrier BIS account would be impossible to create a BIS for your PIN account if Orange didn't him has not fully released. You may also need them (your carriers) to climb ABOARD for formal support from there.

    Good luck!

I checked the app storage etil still 21 mb.

What should be the problem? I would really appreciate the help. Thank you!

Hello! Have you done a hard reset?

A hard reset is similar to rebooting a computer that is not responding. A hard reset shut BlackBerry applications and restarts the BlackBerry smartphone operating system reboots the hardware components of the BlackBerry smartphone, including the wireless transmitter/receiver.

Note: A hard reset deletes all settings or the data on the BlackBerry smartphone.

To perform a hard reset, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the BlackBerry smartphone.
    2. Remove the battery.
    3. Reinsert the battery.
    4. Wait until that smartphone BlackBerry start.

    In addition,

Confirm that all installed third-party applications are approved for the device

Make sure that all third party applications installed on the BlackBerry smartphone are approved for the device. If the problem persists, remove third-party applications to ensure that they do not affect performance.

    And don't forget,

    Optimize flash memory

You can keep the smart phone BlackBerry operating at peak performance by maximizing the available flash memory. Increase the amount of available memory on your BlackBerry smartphone by performing the following tasks:

    1. Add a memory card
    2. Remove unused languages
    3. Delete call logs
    4. Remove the sample video
    5. Empty the Cache and Cookies in the browser
    6. Delete rarely used applications
    7. Delete old data

Keep us informed! See you soon
