  I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 on Virgin Media, I came here first, thinking that it was better I try here before we get on the phone with them.

  My problem is simple. For the last two days, I have not been able to access any page what so ever on my Internet browser tries to load a page, but once the blue bar fills up, there is nothing, not even an error message. I have many left Internet allowance for the month, so I know this isn't that.

  Looks like I'm not the only one having problems, lately.

  Can anyone help?

  Open your browser > press the Menu key > Options > clear your browsing data (check all the) then click clear Now.After that do a reboot Simple as this device while is powered on remove the expectation of the battery for a min. and then re - insert again wait until the device take a long restart.

  Can someone advise me on how to set up my email accounts?  Whenever I click on the e-mail (under Setup) accounts, I have nothing happens.  I don't see even the installation of the company which I use.  I had this previously on Rogers and now just change over Fido.

  In manage connections > Services status, what is the status of the BIS? If it is not connected, so you must work with Fido to solve this problem. For example, if Rogers do not properly release their BIS BB PIN, then Fido will not be able to create a BIS account. More even, if Fido does not natively support your specific model of BB, then there will be additional challenges.

  Sometimes to remove and reinstall the configuration of Email application can help also (assuming that the two BIS voices are otherwise properly functioning and operation on Fido).

  You also should have carried out a thorough CLEANING on your BB under shifting carriers.

  I just got the "BOLD".  When I went to click the browser icon is the browser from MediaNet.  I can't change the homepage on it more, I already have the MediaNet browser as its own separate icon.  My old blackberry was a regular on browser. Is it possible to reinstall the usual browser this icon?  I don't know how he got the MediaNet browser-related. I used the Blackberry Desktop software to transfer data from my old blackberry to it, but everything else seems to have yielded very well.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

  (1) registry HRT

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts.

  OK, so I've tried everything to try and solve my problems but have not been able to do. I hope that someone here might be able to help!

  First of all, I have accidentally hidden a picture by checking the "hide" field Now how do get it back you? I had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure that out it and they were not able. Anyone know?

  Second, when I choose a picture to my desktop wallpaper, it shows in a larger version in the upper left corner of the image. I me remember when I was picked as my background wallpaper, the image I have zoomed in on it before asking, but used the 'back' button to remove the zoom feature. It looks ok on the screen but define it the paper painted like the zoomed image in. Now, it doesn't matter what image I chose, I get in the top left corner, zoom appears on my paper painted - although it seemed normal before asking.

  I am frustrated trying to understand these two themes out, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

  My 2 "BOLD" constantly of to net_rim_bb different errors as net_rim_bb_messaging_app and other such errors where it is said the process responds and asks me to terminate. Despite terminate a mistakes very soon many other errors like this show up. I was not able to solve this problem for over 5 hours now and I can't operate anything. Some time my phone connect even if I try to call it. Other times I am able to meet and talk. Its like my phone is partially frozen for missed calls, emails and other icons are the same for the last 5 hours, but sometimes I am able to access some applications however, I'm completely unable to exploit one of my apps and even open other files like e-mail, call log, messages, etc.. I tried reset soft and hard but not completely succeeded.  Please help me as soon as possible. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  In addition, you could try to start in safe mode:

  and delete the most recent thing (s) you have installed just before this problem started.

  After that, it's an OS Reload try... but we're going to stay on it for the moment.

  Sometimes a simple restart battery pull is able to solve this problem, but always on your home screen, open the main Message box > highlight a day say today > press the Menu key > click Mark read beforehand. Finally, perform a restart battery pull by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a minimum then reinsert back. After the reboot, see if the problem resolves.

  (1) to remove from your BB AppWorld

  I have problems with internet on my blackberry curve 8520. I still get emails and bbm still works but my browser is not loading pages. The blue bar takes over completely, but the web page will never - open it's just stuck on the loading screen.   I wanted a BB for centuries now, finally got a BB Torch 9860 yesterday and now my head is spinning with all the problems I encounter. First of all, I can only access Facebook via my connection wi - fi home, once I hit my wi - fi and try to access FB using my mobile connection, it's just can't, why?
