BlackBerry Smartphones keeps crashing

Hi, I have a curve 8320 (for more than a year with an original battery) and since last week, he had been crashing about 15 - 20 times, don't know why.  It happened when I used the camera, map google (app) and several times when I used the facebook (app).  Sometimes, he would show that the battery is really low even if the level of the battery was just before it crashed.  I downloaded the app twitter and I think that is where the problem started here, but I already removed it the next day from the day I installed it.  the problem which continues...

When I use one of the above applications, the screen would go blank (black) as he was off.  I couldn't turn on while I do the battery pull, then it would take some time to start over.  yesterday, when I did, it would be not started correctly and then after like 4 or 5 times, it finally started and took me to the home screen.

is it possible that my device has some kind of virus or any idea what it is? y at - it a sort of test that I could run on it to try to identify the problem? any info would be greatly appreciated! Moreover, I have a multimedia card in it if it's useful to know?

Thank you!!

It seems to be a problem with the facebook app, because I had received several spam messages.  I deleted the app and my bb works fine as far as I know since he collapsed since Saturday night. Hmm.  you will need to keep an eye on it.  Thank you!

  • Why my Curve 9300 blackBerry Smartphones keep freeze

Why my BB Curve 9300 keep freezing?

It freezes all the time because you're out of the application memory.

I recommend you to install BlackBerry Desktop Software and do a full backup of the device. Then do a security Wipe. You can do the wipe by going into Options and type security wipe in the search bar. Do not include the media card, but include 3rd party applications. You can install those later via BBWorld.

When it's done, you can only restore the databases that you really need like e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc.

When you are all done to ensure that the media are registered in the media card. I recommend getting a much larger map in order to have room for photos and videos. You do not want the data stored on the device memory.

  • The old messages blackBerry Smartphones keep popping up like new with OWA Exchange.

My account is a Microsoft Exchange account that I connect using Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA).  Sometimes (and I can't find a reason for it) when I reread an email using Outlook/OWA message get redistributed to the BlackBerry as if it were a new message.  Otherwise reconciliation seems to work perfectly (both delete and keep track of read vs unread messages.)  I find it very confusing.

I tried to find some adjustments in currency options which would explain this and have not been able to.

    Any suggestions?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones start crash

So I got a new BB "BOLD" yesterday and then I transfer data from my old phone to my new BB using bluetooth, something crashed. Doesn't seem to really be a problem at first until I discovered that once I had removed the battery, the thing just show me the loading thingy clock screen, which stops smoothly and finally I get a white screen. It has been like that for the last 8 hours and I'm at my wits end.

What the hell is happening with my new phone and what can do about it?

No problem at all. The steps are:

First download and install from here Office Manager (5.0.1 without Media Manager is recommended): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

Then download and install the software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Then try to reload the operating system by connecting the device to your computer, open the Desktop Manager, then go to the Application Loader. This will open a wizard who travels to reload the operating system on your device. More detailed instructions can be found here:

OK, the operating system needs to be recharged, if you have a blackberry device software that you can try to connect, but it probably won't... If he tries to do a backup and then reload the software http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB11320&slic...

most probably, you need to download and install software click here to download and install the correct software for the phone to the carrier you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Keeper of password missing from the OS 6

I upgraded my OS from 5 to 6 (update of Sprint) and when setting everything back up, I could not find password Keeper. I know that many people do not use this app, but it has been very useful because of all the different passwords I use at different times. It is in this operating system or has it been removed? If it does not form part of the operating system, can it be added? I have a backup of my phone before the upgrade, can I at least get back this information to store elsewhere? Thank you for your contribution to this issue.

OK, I managed to confirm that apparently password Keeper is always on OS 6, so something was wrong with the OTA update.

While it is a bit of an extreme response, it's a way enough guarantees to ensure that you get password Keeper on your device.  Try to reload the operating system by following the steps located here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Device-Software/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-Syste...  When you reach step 3, make sure you check the box for password keeper because he will not automatically be considered.

If you rather not completely loaded the operating system, skip to step 4.  If you do this, then it should just charge on the device password Keeper and leave everything else intact.  But if you want to be thorough, feel free to continue with step 4.

Since you have already loaded the operating system on your computer, you can only proceed to the saving and loading of the operating system (or the application, if you try this way initially).

If you reload the entire OS, and then restore the backup that you made.  Once you have done this, return to this backup of November and you can do a selective restore in BlackBerry Desktop Software 6 (also called an Advanced Restore in BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0 and earlier).  Then, you can simply select the data for password Keeper and restore just this database.

Keep me informed as to how it works.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones TOTAL CRASH - cannot use the device

I have a new BB9700. With desktop manager, I downloaded ubertwitter, Internet installed a few apps gmail (gmail, google maps). Mounting ubertwitter forward while the action of the install in deskop manager could not be carried out, he was not moving, so I cancelled it. All worked well for a while.

Then, while typing a messege in blackberry e-mail phone went completely blank (white screen), and the hard reset itself and after initialization, it entered Setup for beginners. Therefore, when you cancel the Setup program it shows in the BlackBerry 5.1.0.90 front line platform and a list of the BB apps, ATTMusic, BrickBreaker, calculator, calendar, address book and so on. When you click on any one of them it says: "error at startup of net_rim_bb_file_explorer; module not found "net rim_bb_browser_lib." Or similar.

The only thing that works is calculator, Memo, password keeper, and options. With the options, I can access the applications list and delete some of them if necessary.

All options settings are erased from the options.

What is interesting is that I can return phone calls after I get a missed call. The phone does not ring, she is silent, but I get a notice of missed call, and I can return from the call.

Does this mean that failuire of Fund Manager to complete the following action cause BB to completely erase? This means that I have to reactivate the phone (BES) and start from scratch?

I'll try that: total hard deletion, with a clean install of the soul (5.0) to the Director of bureau, BES re-activation fees

  • BlackBerry Smartphones keep getting error everytime I try to use an app ive downloaded

I had this problem for a while. Whenever I have download an application from anywhere, & I use the app, that's what I see (mobile app startup error. (App name) Error loading module mobile app). It does not matter where to download (app world, get jar or developer) I noticed that until I have remove the app that I have atempted to download my phone works funny. He loves trolling along & is very, very slow to respond. I don't know if children have preview with the settings or if its something I did. I even went thru & removed more than half of my apps thinking I could have a lot, but it wasn't the problem. Contribution to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I don't understand what you mean by application to open a Web site as opposed to stationary application?

    • On one side you have shortcuts. They are on the home screen or in a folder of the home screen. When clicked, it opens a website. These shortcuts are similar to Favorites, but with an icon.
    • on the other side you have applications. For example when you open Notepad, it opens the application that is installed on your device.
    • You affirm that you are unable to open any application (as opposed to shortcuts), if that's true, then I suggest you try with the Messages app, MemoPad application and the browser.

Notepad is an application of RIM, that can be uninstalled. If nothing works, you can probably go to your support of carrier and ask them to correct it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones keeping old calendar events in Outlook and Storm2

Is there a way to keep all appointments, regardless of age on Outlook and my Storm2?

Just got my Storm2.  Downloaded/installed the latest office software.  Allowed to update the Storm2 OS via USB, the desktop software.  Desktop software configured to synchronize my Outlook 2003 (no Exchange involved, only local server).  I tried all the dates on the calendar (including former appointments, etc) to be both Outlook and the Storm2. On the first synchronization, all the calendar events appeared to transfer fine from Outlook to the Storm2.  However, on subsequent synchronizations, the desktop software apparently wants to delete all appointments of old (about 2 200) in Outlook.

    Here are the details:

    Phone: Storm2 9550
    OS phone: V 5.0.0.71 3

BlackBerry Desktop Software: 6.0.0.40 (Bundle 42)
    BlackBerry Device Manager: 6.0.0.11
    BBDevMgr: 4.1.0.14
    RIM USB driver: 4.1.0.4
    RIM USB Serial Driver: 2.2.0.3
    Application loader: 6.0.0.36

    PC:
    Windows XP Pro SP3
    MS Outlook: 2003 SP3

P.S. I'm new in these here.  Should I post this question in another forum?

For good measure, I did a hard reset on the Storm2 after changing the option «forever» you described. Then I did a synchronization one-way calendar to recover older events calendar on the Storm2.  When I've reconfigured the synchronization two-way calendar, I also did "Remove alarm for items being passed" has not been checked.   So far so good

    Thank you very much.

  • Schedule of blackBerry Smartphones keeps deleting past appointments

    Hello friends!

I noticed that my blackberry 8330 removes random latest appointments in my calendar and, sometimes, text messages.  I read pieces about how I can solve this problem, but can I get a global and coherent response as to how to fix it?  I don't want to ruin my baby! Thank you!

    Hello

Yes, it will be. As long as you watch your memory and keep beyond 15 MB, you'll be ready to go!

Please take a second and close the post, OK?

  • Torch of blackBerry Smartphones keeps restarting

I installed an update of an application on my phone.  He said he had to restart.  I said ok.

You are able to reboot your device in SafeMode as shown in KB17877?

I guess, because it is taken in a reboot cycle, when you connect to the desktop software it does not have a stable connection to reinstall your software?

If this is the case, remove the battery and keep it off when you connect to the desktop software. You will get a pop up that the device cannot connect and there should be buttons retry, update and cancel. Select Update and you will then be able to reinstall the latest version of the device software.

When the load progresses, you will see a step that says "waiting for initialization of the devices '. At this point, insert the battery and recharging must complete.
