I'm puzzled. You have more than 100 MB of free space there.

I don't know why your do pass this message. Perform a restart on the device, and maybe it will stop.

  • Request for information/blackBerry Smartphones: where is the address book/contacts stored in the BB Torch 9800

Hello everyone, could someone tell me where exactly is the address book / contacts stored by default in the BB Torch 9800, IE; in memory of mobile phone, the SIM card (I don't think) or in the micro SD card card (multimedia card)? Thanks a lot for your answers. Best regards, Eric

More precisely in the device memory. Not in the media card or the SIM card.

It is where they are stored by default and cannot be changed.

You can save contacts to your SIM card, but only one number per name, no address, no email address, etc.

You may need to call your carrier to get a BlackBerry data plan added to your service

    You can try this

    On the handset, go to:

    For OS5 and 4.x
Options - Advanced Search - host Routing Table
Click on register now and escape from the home page.

    For OS6 and above
in options, advanced, feature host routing table, click on the menu and select Register now.

Wait 2 minutes and see if the network registration occurs.

Return your books to your BIS service provider site:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830North American carriers - scroll to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • BlackBerry Passport insert/remove the sim card

Should I turn off my passport before to insert/remove the Sim Card or not? is it dangerous to do when the device is already on?

    Yes and the deletion.

Let me add, I would recommend power first, but there is no obligation in this regard.

The SIM card and the media are hot-swappable.

  • BlackBerry smartphones to synchronize the list of contacts to pc and BB 9800 Torch

I just spent several hours cleaning to the top of my list of contacts Outlook 2003.

I had a lot of numbers (hundreds) in my new BB torch that came with my old mobile phone SIM card.  I had a lot of e-mails (a few hundred) in my pc, but no phone number.  So I synchronize had the two databases and then cleaned the list combined on my pc. "Purified upward" means that I did of course e-mail addresses and phone numbers have been implemented for each contact in my Outlook contacts list combined.   Then I re-sync had two devices.

Everything is there on both devices. I had arranged with care all the names with the last name first on my pc contacts list, BUT what I have on my BB was first a meli melo some with first name and some with first name first.  AAARG!  How frustrating after spending all this time.

What areas the BB bed from Outlook?  There are 3 places in Outlook, where his name appears. The first and last name may not be in the same position in all 3 premier-dernier places.  Someone at - there no indication in this regard?  Thank you.

    Peter

Your suggestion for a solution to my problem was phenomenal.  It lead me to a better understanding of my BB and Outlook.  My problem was with my name entries in Outlook.  I was inconsistent with the name entered.  I straightened them and now all is well.  Thank you.  Peter

  • Birthdays of blackBerry Smartphones. better on the calendar or contacts list?

currently have bdays all recurring calendar entries. I am considering adding them instead, to the list of contacts for each person. can someone tell me what the difference is between the two? Does this affect synchronization w outlook 2007? It is tell you the age of the person on that either? That's what I want to do the most. would be nice to not have to do the math, lol

Looking at my birthday added in contact... it adds the birthday to the calendar as a "whole day event" and affects 15 min before default reminder. It has not been synchronized with Outlook, it does not affect other entries or the synchronization process. He did not give the age is also unfortunately

  • Music of blackBerry Smartphones moving to my media card in my BB pearl

SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! I just bought the new 8130 Pearl... I can't get music on it! (I bought 2 songs via iTunes) I tried to use BB Media Sync and it just won't... I tried dragging and droping and it doesn't...

When I look at my BB card through the windows, it shows the songs. When I unplug my BB to the computer and try to find them on my phone it shows no songs!

    What I am doing wrong?

First of all, there could be a major problem: Blackberry will not play purchased or purchased iTunes with iTunes DRM Digitial rights on the file.

There is a common method to remove DRM WMA, M4P in 2 steps:
1 burn the DRM WMA, M4P on a CD.
2 rip the DRM WMA, M4P from CD on your computer in MP3, then the DRM format should be removed from the WMA files.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not get contacts from the Sim Card.

I just bought a Blackberry Bold 9780 and put my current sim card in it to copy my contacts in. However, this is not the case - that one or two contacts copied when all of my contacts have been permanently recorded on the sim card. My Blackberry bolt ons have not yet been activated (not sure if this is relevant). Would appreciate any help, thank you.

Open your address book > press Menu > SIM Phone Book > press the Menu key again > copy everything to the address book

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 - NEW STOCKES CONTACTS ON the SIM card

    Nice day

I'm crazy for trying to save a new contact on the memory card.

I discovered yesterday that all new contacts (phone numbers) registered since I got Z10 are on my sim card.

Can someone explain to me how to put the memory card instead of the sim card?

    Thank you very much

    Concerning

    Hey mamario62,

    Thanks for the quick response.

Regarding the backup, you can back up your data that includes the contacts through the link of BlackBerry.  So if something happens, you can restore this backup file on the smartphone BlackBerry 10.

Currently two-way sync is not available in the connection of BlackBerry, only import is available.  Two-way synchronization will be available at a later date.

    See you soon!

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to save all my contacts on my Sim Card

I just bought a new curve and can't find a way to transfer all my contacts on my sim card at the same time.  The gentlemen at the store told me it was possible.

It is not possible to move all contacts from the SIM card at the same time. You can copy the address book to Blackberry SIM, but not conversely.

  • Coping of Smartphones blackBerry on sim card contacts

Hi, I just bought the BB 8310 curve and I currently have all of my contacts on the phone's memory, and I want to transfer them to the SIM... is it possible and if yes, how can I do this.

    Thank you.

There is no way of really good to do. The only way to do is a number at a time. There is no way block to do. Your best bet is to use BlackBerry Desktop Manager and create a backup of your device.

If you really want the contacts on the SIM card:

    1. Open a contact in your address book.
    2. Scroll to a phone number.
    3. Press the menu button, and then select copy to SIM Phone Book.
    4. Repeat for each phone number. If you have multiple numbers for a particular contact included!
